We are EXOR Studios and our latest game, The Riftbreaker is releasing on PC, Xbox Series S | X and PlayStation 5 in just two days - on October 14th.
The Riftbreaker is a base-building strategy game with elements of survival, exploration and hack & slash. It is the result of more than 3.5 years of hard work by an independent team of 15. We created it using our custom game engine that we call The Schmetterling - we already had an AMA here on the engine itself. Since that time we upgraded our engine to support a lot of latest technologies, such as ray-tracing, VRS, or FSR. That allowed us to take advantage of the latest hardware available on the next-gen consoles and in modern PCs. You can watch the trailer for The Riftbreaker right here.
EXOR Studios started as a modding group, developing mods for Unreal, Half-Life and then later on, Half-Life 2. A mod for HL2 was our first official release, actually - D.I.P.R.I.P. in 2008, one of the first mods to be featured on Steam. Soon after that we created the foundation of what would become The Schmetterling later on and created our first standalone release - Zombie Driver. We spent the next couple of years upgrading the tech even further. Zombie Driver received a couple of major content updates, as well as an HD treatment. Even tho the chances are pretty much zero (right now), imagine if it turns out tonight that the new game is, in fact, Days Gone 2.
Anyways, what are y'all's predictions about the new game that might being announced today?
Hi all, I am doing some big clean up of some of my Nintendo switch stuff, open to look at lists but mostly looking for interesting stuff to fill up my switch/3ds collection. Already have most retail available games. I am very open to adding cash on your side for some of the expensive items on my list.

I've really enjoyed Ace Attorney DS games (including the Investigation spinoffs). First AA is still among my favorite adventure games, and last cases for original trilogies are some of most enthralling moments in gaming.
So, naturally I got my 3DS, I hoped onto Dual Destinies.
Love the new mechanic of emotions, 3D art is stellar, great soundtrack and good work in rounding out the characters (mainly Phoenix and Apollo) if you've played Apollo Justice (AA4).
That said... IMO this is probably the weakest entry since Ace Attorney Investigations 1.
Cases didn't felt like they had stakes, some leaps-of-logic I feel too wild even by AA standards, cases sometimes felt too stretched (eg - AA5-2), really shoe-horned in callbacks and a really baffling final case. I dunno what his fan reception is, but I didn't really got Blackquill. He doesn't feel intimidating or challenging. Good prosecutors was one of many enjoyments to me, but I didn't felt it here.
DLC was a nice change of pace (in terms of outcome), but didn't do much for me.
It says something about the AA series, that even the weakest entry is still an enjoyable game.

With play to earn being a new avenue for games, a lot of people will forget to transfer out their Shib before deleting the app. Sure, some could come back and pull out later, but a lot won't care enough.
These in-game wallets essentially become dead (burn) addresses.
It's not a guarantee of course, but could help maintain a good floor as the game(s) get more traffic.
The question is in the title. If not, how many people is the minimum for a "dev studio"? Plus, what goes into establishing yourself officially? without getting into all the legal stuff of course.
Sony said it still wants to buy new studios, which studios would you like sony to buy and why?
Curious if anyone heard if this game is still happening, not seeing much about it online other than this post from January.
