A list of puns related to "Academic Regalia In The United States"
Hi everyone! I'm looking for any Taiwanese immigrants that currently live in the United States to complete a questionnaire about their experiences moving to the US as well as once settling here. This is for a final research paper for a sociology course and the results won't be published in any academic journals. It includes questions about your journey, factors that led you to emigrating, as well as how you view your identity. If you have any questions, let me know! Thank you!

Study: Surveillance of COVID-19 Related Xenophobia among Healthcare Communities in the United States: Driving Factors and Magnitude of Prejudice, Discrimination, and Racial Tension conducted by the University of Arizona College Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and approved by the the University of Arizona Institutional Review Board.
Description. The dangerous confluence of COVID-19, the healthcare systemβs lack of preparedness, and volatile political environment has put the United Statesβ healthcare communities at an increased risk for adverse outcomes (e.g. discrimination and racism via microaggressions, hate crimes; or even death). Minority healthcare workers and students are especially at risk due to the persistent misinformation, fear induced racism, and high hospital caseloads coupled with lack of personal protective equipment. In this study, we are investigating 1) period prevalence of microaggressions and violent hate crimes that have been perpetrated against HCWSs; 2) which specific subpopulations are being affected; and 3) what are the driving factors of these attitudes and actions.

The article on Dorian Abbot is excellent, but be warned: It's dense.
Hello everyone! I am a Russian student, working on my thesis, which touches upon the topic of the image of Soviet and Russian people in British and American cinematography. My survey aims at learning how British and American audiences perceive Russian characters in English-speaking movies produced since the 1980s. The completion of the survey may require ~15 minutes, but I will be really glad if you answer all the questions, even though there are a lot of open ones.
Thank you soooooo much!

All answers are completely anonymous unless you opt-in for an interview. But other than that, all I require is that you're under or over 18 and from the US! Thank you so much!

Source from the Chicago Maroon. This news is a little disappointing, but thankfully, tuition is free for families with incomes under $125,000, and tuition, fees, room and board will be covered for families with incomes under $60,000. Still, I think this is a pretty unfortunate distinction for the university.
Hello everyone,
I am an international student admitted to a PhD. in the United States for Fall 2020. However, my city is completely locked down and we don't know when normal life will come back. Therefore, I am anxious about the fact that I might not be able to get my visa on time.
(I think there are a lot of students who are facing the same problem since all the world is affected by this terrible pandemic.)
Therefore, I want to ask if the academic year 2020/2021 will begin on August as usual or will it be delayed by few weeks ?
Thank you.

I am currently writing a paper on the future of US Energy generation, specifically comparing a Nuclear plan and a Renewable plan. As either of these plans will have significant impacts on communities across the nation, it is important to collect data from these communities. This poll contains opinion focused questions regarding each energy source. Renewables is used to describe any power source that uses an easily renewable energy source, such as solar and wind.

Hello Everyone. If anybody between the ages of 15 to 50 or older would please take this survey. I need as many results possible for my project in Statistics by midnight of September 29, 2020. Thank you to anyone who participates!
Note: the following survey is Moderator approved; scales used in the survey are inherently binary in nature and are from a cisgender heterosexual perspective, and as such contain inadequate and archaic questions as well as fail to adequately question and portray non-binary transgender individuals experience. Said questions may cause distress.
Hello,
My name is Natasha and as a trans woman I am interested in research regarding the transgender community, and figured the best way to get into this field would be some undergraduate research while attending Illinois College! This is a survey for all types of transgender individuals between the ages of 18-30 residing in the United States or Canada analyzing any link between self identifying as transgender, depression rates, and behavioral tendencies. Attached below is the link to the survey, which I highly encourage you to complete as much as possible and share with other transgender individuals interested in participating!
