Far Cry: Survival
An open world survival game that will test the limits of your mind and body. You are Sagana(male)/Ikra(female), a child born in the civil war era across the horn of Africa. Your aspiration is to leave the land in search of a better life. However, your current motivation is to survive.
Setting: East African coast - Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania
Weather patterns: Sunny, cloudy, storms, rain, light showers
Landscape: semi-arid, coastal, forests, desert, swampy
Local militia: Somali pirates, government forces (restricted areas)
Rebels: Locals, captives, resistance groups

Crafting progression: crafting skill enhances with every craft (1-100). The higher the crafting level, the more durable the item. Higher crafting ability also unlocks new items e.g. high calibre bows, armor, traps
Animals: local wildlife, legendary animals, mythical creatures
Additional mechanics: diseases, poison, injuries, fractures, wear and tear, insanity, fatigue, torture (extracting info)
Weapon pick ups: rifles, ARs, hand guns, launchers, explosives
Crafting weapons: bows (bamboo/softwood/hardwood), metal/poison/wooden/explosive arrows, crossbows, mythical weapons, catapults, animal and human traps, slings, poisonous spider/scorpion/snake traps, blades, poison fangs, whips, hornet/fire/explosive bombs, spears, weapon attachments
Crafting armor: wooden armor, pirate armor (good for infiltration missions), metal armor (crafted by blacksmith), mythical armor, legendary armor, armor pieces from animals (crocodile chest piece, tortoise helmet, etc.)
Difficulty levels: Civilian (normal), Veteran (brutal e.g. black mamba venom would kill in minutes), Immersive (slightly harder than normal, no HUD, UI, prompts, music, skips annoying game intro and goes straight into open world)
Multiplayer: 2-4 player co-op mode with shared progression
DLCs: Tales of the Bukhusu (cannibals) Tribe, The Code (alternative mode playing as a pirate/hostile), The Blood Oath (the mystery of a mythical creature)
Other features: Save points at base, no autosave, no skill tree, no special abilities, you're as good as your natural skill.
With all the bullet types i find myself going to arsenal menu to change weapons all the time, would be much easier if there was a way to save loadouts, kinda like in division.
The weapons in the far cry franchise were always fun. I could use so many different weapon styles when i approached an outpost. But even when i triggered all alarms and the reinforcements come i never got the feeling of going all out with weapons.
I imagine fighting a horde of 100 soldiers as a wave. So you could get really creative with explosives, lmgs, grenade launchers.
Guardian of the Galaxy: I’m a big Marvel fan and I got excited when the trailer came out. Plus I’ve seen a lot positive reviews about it. Far cry 6: I have 3 Ubisoft’s games all are pretty enjoyable, but I have seen a bunch of people saying it’s laggy. Battlefield 2042: I like playing multiplayer games so this one seems fun. I’m worried though cause people said it’s boring and glitches.
I need a guide to get 100% completion, i heard about killing your buddies and all but I can't really understand what to do exatly.

Running through the tutorial section I crashed on the ladder just after the sewers and then rebooted the game, crashed there again, verified my files and crashed on the ladder before that, after that I updated my drivers and put the game in fullscreen and I crashed after falling through the scaffolding, running an RTX 3080, 5900xt and 32gb of ram
Edit: I've been in contact with Ubi support and the list of things I've done now is

In windowed
Borderless
Lowest Graph settings
Highest Graph settings
As Admin
Disabled ALL startup processes except windows ones
Clean installed my drivers
Still nothing is working, I'll also add that I'm on Win 10 still
It would just be so nice to edit/ upload and download custom tracks, as you only need to add waypoints and it would offer the possibilities to have some more really nice coast to coast races e.g.

... keep reading on reddit ➡Just started playing FC 6 last night and saw the initial impressions of BF2042 today. I can't understand why do the graphics of these AAA titles in 2021 seem to be worse than their predecessors?!! Has the tech plateaued, have the developers become lazy and no longer give a f***, are they just betting on loyal fan following to carry them? Like how can they charge us full AAA prices while giving us ass-backward graphics that look decidedly worse than their older counterparts??
Edited to add: On a pretty high end PC, played TW3, BF1/5, FC 3/4/5 etc on ultra settings and trip digit fps.
I just beat the game and i have to say, i had such a good time playing this shit. I thought the story was great, and there is SO MUCH to do throughout the game with all the the FND bases you can take over, checkpoints, Air Drops, AA Guns. Plus all of the treasure hunts, races, hunting. I know that some people shit on it saying its not as good as Far Cry 5 (which i had a ton of fun with as well) and the other Far Cry Games but i really enjoyed it. It kind of starts of slow but it picks up, and if you do all of the miscellaneous missions and stuff early on you will be OP as fuck. Im exited to see what new content will come in the future as well.
Replaying through Far Cry 4, and during his last quest cut scene he mentions about moving to “South America, maybe Cuba.” Would have been interesting seeing him in Far Cry 6.
The post I made this comment on got me thinking. So my question is that is Dani's mission personal to her? And do you think it would have been better if it was all third person?
I feel like 6 is not a personal story. I feel like in the other games those felt more of a personal quest. In 6 it just feels like "Oh okay Dani is helping these people." 6 doesn't feel like a personal mission to do something. All she wanted was to escape and be free. She didn't necessarily have an end quest of saving Yara.
In 3 Jason had a reason to be helping the people to help his friends so that was personal.
In 4 Ajay wanted to spread his mother's ashes. Yeah going in with the Golden Path or sitting at the table in the beginning to get the secret ending could go either way. But still going with the Golden Path made sense to take down Pegan so he could spread his mother's ashes.
In 5 Deputy had a reason to do the mission with capture the Seed family and she got caught and needed to save her co-workers.
Finally 6 she doesn't have a reason so it doesn't feel like it's a personal goal to take down Yara. Yeah she had issues with what was going on but she didn't need to save her friend (whatever her name was that got killed in the beginning at the beach). Or she didn't have the two friends captured it anything. It doesn't seem personal.
I feel what made Far Cry do first person made it so it was personal to the players point of view. Making it 3rd person made sense because the story is just there.
I tried firing up Far Cry 6 this morning. It downloaded and installed fine (Ubisoft Connect) but it wouldn't launch. It would just sit at the splash screen.
Just after launch it would show an error - Unable to launch game, the GPU may not be compatible.
I've tried a few different Wine versions and didn't make much progress.

So i enjoy far cry 6 a lot although it has its flaws. I enjoy it so much that i think to buy for ps5 the far cry 5.I have played only far cry 3 back when it released and i loved it too, but nothing else from the serkes until now. Do you guys recomended it, is it as good as 6?From a little research i found its actually harder than 6 and i like that if its is really the case. Finally with all ubisoft games now that it had run its course and being fully updated i think it will be in much better shape than when it released, so does it worth it?
