What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it get waitlisted
in case someone declines?
Or become rejected
as pointed to by all signs?
Does it lower acceptance rates?
Or make colleges seem more selective—
like the evidence dictates?
Maybe it just gives kids anxiety
like a heavy course load.
Or does it get accepted? How did you get over the feeling of being unconfident because you are starting later in life? I need experiences from you and how you overcame it.

I am doing some work for my school and I want to use poems from Langston Hughes' poetry compilation, Montage of a Dream Deferred. However I am having extreme trouble finding it online! If someone could point in in the right direction, linking me would be very appreciated! Pdf, screenshots, whatever is ok. Closest thing I could find is this;

Warmly snuggled within a mass of blankets, the world-famous doctor slept soundly. By the appearance of things, one would never guess that anything important was happening. Indeed, the stone halls did not so much as reverberate with the doctor's famous jocular laughter, or his impossibly ponderous footsteps.
Yet, the doctor dreamt a strange and marvelous dream. In his dream, Madame Madcap (oh man, she was always coming on to him) rode up in what we would essentially call a motorcycle, although Id doesn't have the tech yet. (Denny, can I please discover combustion already? I have suitable RP buildup...)
Anyway, Madame Madcup rode up in a motorcycle and some tight leather pants. She blew ol' double chin a kiss, and did that Hollywood thing where she flung her hair around and it glittered in the sun, while the camera did a smexy 360 rotation that made sure to capture some sideboob action.
"In this sign you shall conquer", she whispered.
And suddenly, lo and behold, everything exploded and Dr. Doublechin was standing in a massive lava filled crater. Madame Madcap had become a witch, and began to write flaming letters in the sky with her broom.
The letters said something about excellent tea that afternoon... the tapioca pudding was subpar though... mix salt with gunpowder...
At this point Dr. Doublechin was pretty lost. Things were getting pretty salty and he kept seeing salt and gunpowder everywhere. He was in a small, dank cellar room and Madame Madcap walked in with her two massive bags, one of salt and the other of gunpowder. She poured the two together on a small wooden table and leaned in for a kiss. Just before their lips met, she lit a match and brought it to the gunpowder, and the entire room exploded.
Dr. Doublechin awoken suddenly, having fallen out of bed. He blankets were all strewn about and a butler walked into the room.
"Are you quite alright sir?" he asked.
Dr. Doublechin muttered indignantly and flailed about, becoming yet more entangled in the mass of bedsheets. The butler arched an eyebrow dismissively, and left.

As the Royal Penteulu finished, the High Lords of Morrigdom clapped in celebration at the initiation of court. The current session was to be a special one, as every important noble in Ynys Prydain had been summoned. There was rumors that some sort of reform was to be made, or that some sort of quest was to be announced. No one truly knew what was going on except for Drakul himself.
”His Royal and Imperial Majesty has requested the presence of Prince Duifal, Lord Protector of the Province of the Vesi! And the Prince of the Sàltìr He has decided to bestow a great quest upon you two! A quest that shall see the entirety of the Brythonic Isles benefiting from the fruits of your labor!”
As the two moved to kneel before the Brythonic Crown, the Gwas Ystafell approached with a map. Unrolling it, he revealed a map of a mysterious island to the far northwest.
With his surprise revealed, Drakul spoke.
”It had been my wish to see our glorious dominion planting its banners all across of the Middle Realm. Yet it occurs to be that there are many lands that have not yet been revealed to us by Duw Tywyll. I would see our sailors exploring to lands that have not yet been touched by the filth of Galia and the other lesser children. I would see us discovering and exploring them before anyone else… Therefore I have charged the Prince of the Vesi Commonwealth and the Prince of the Sàltìr with the exploration of rumored lands to the west. Should they accept this charge, then I shall bestow glory upon their lands. Their people shall abstain from our religious rituals for a time, and celebrations shall occur.”
For the first time he looked upon the two.
”Would they accept this charge?”
"Harlem" by Langston Hughes is a very well-known poem, as this poem and Hughes are both significant icons in the Harlem Renaissance. I always hear that this poem is taught in high school, and I've had to hear it in high school English as well.
What makes it such a significant poem? To be completely honest, I feel like the poem is extremely okay; do I dare even say mediocre? I know this is probably very controversial, but the poem is incredibly boring and weak to me. I'm not someone who dislikes poetry nor am I someone that is frequently bored by it. But the poem's language and rhyme scheme seem so basic and boring, almost predictable. When I read the poem, I'm reminded of a specific poem I wrote in 4th grade for a school-wide poetry fair. I really hope I'm not being offensive; I'm not really saying Hughes is a bad poet. I enjoy other poems by him -- just not this one, in particular.
I'm genuinely curious about this poem's significance.
Does the poem's significance rely solely on the social context or historical background?
