A list of puns related to "X Men in television"
Unless you want leading man Logan to sell tickets to 15 year old girls, you need to give the franchise more room to breathe. Long form, high production value television provides this.
He is a character with zero redeemable qualities. He is equal parts a hypocrite, a mooch, thereby unnecessarily cheap, pretentious, a piss poor excuse for a father, and in turn someone who is seemingly physically incapable of taking responsibility for himself.
Alan Harper begins the show having gotten kicked out of his wife's house. Now, his wife isn't a model human being; in fact, I would suggest that they were almost perfect for each other, because she is absolutely awful as well. Anyways, Alan movies into his brother Charlie's house after an extended period of not even being in contact with him, and despite his brother's objections. Right off the bat, he assumed he was going to stay there, and weaseled his way in.
This was the beginning of Alan leeching off of his brother for the better part of a decade. Charlie pays for everything. Everything. They go out to dinner, Charlie pays. They order in, Charlie pays. They go to a movie, Charlie pays. The mortgage for Charlie's Malibu beach house? Paid for entirely by Charlie. Now, one might expect because it's his house that he pays the mortgage, but Alan offers him no remuneration, none at all.
Maybe Alan is broke!
Nope. In the beginning of the series, Alan is a (at least somewhat) successful chiropractor with his own clinic. Despite this, he offers his brother absolutely nothing in the way of repayment for his brother allowing him to stay in his home. Soon thereafter, Alan's wife ends up getting essentially everything in the divorce, so perhaps a period of time during which Alan gets back on his feet would have been acceptable, but there was never any intention from the get-go, and even when the exorbitant alimony payments cease, he offers nothing.
It is eventually discovered that Alan keeps a cache of money hidden. He willfully lets his brother pay for everything while he squirrels away money, with no intention of ever making good on the generosity of his brother.
Alan also constantly complains about things that someone in his position has no grounds to complain about. He throws a fit when Berta, Charlie's housekeeper, doesn't buy the specialty milk Alan wants, instead buying what her employer likes. He acts as if he is entitled to the specialty beverage, but the sense of entitlement is entirely baseless.
But if you were to let Alan tell it, his brother isn't generous at all.
Alan constantly berates his brother for his bachelor lifestyle. He chastises Charlie for his womanizing, his drinking, his

It came to mind that the X-Men comics have tons of characters, groups, and settings that don't have much to do with the X-Gene itself. These are going to be much simpler to integrate into the MCU than Mutants themselves will be.
These are mostly cosmic or extradimensional things. example: Shi'ar Empire, Technarchy, Mojoverse, Limbo/Otherplace, Brood, ect. I could also see them introducing the Weapon X Program before they introduce Mutants.
I want a live action Longshot/Mojoverse story so bad.
My days of collecting floppies are long behind me. I much prefer physical TPB over digital as well.
So far Iβve read HoX/PoX and the X-Men Vol 1 and 2 trades by Hickman, but Iβm curious as to what other title(s) is necessary/required for this run. Iβve got X of Swords on preorder, as well.
I also know the Dawn of X trades are available but have heard these are not necessarily published in the storyβs chronological order. Very confused here.
Both locations are places we still haven't seen in an X-Men movie and definitely fit his character.
With the Savage Land, not only was it his base of operations in the 1992 X-Men cartoon, but it definitely fits his MO. A villain obsessed with evolution would definitely fit on an island populated by prehistoric beasts and mutates.
With Krakoa, again, it very much fits Sinister's character. A living, sentient island would definitely be something he would be interested in. Plus, he has used the island (or a version of it) for his base for Sinister London.

What does everybody think of the volume of Uncanny X-Men that preceded the Dawn of X revamp. I remember not liking it too much because a lot of my favorite characters were being systematically killed off. Looking back i think Rosenberg knew what Hickman was gonna do so he just went all out before the line was relaunched. I think its an underrated run that got overshadowed by HOX/POX and more people should check it out.
