A list of puns related to "Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets"
Iβve heard getting into Science at Dawson was pretty hard, so I was wondering what grades could get me in?
For reference, I have 84% English/French, 92% SN, 90% chem/physics my other grades are somewhere around 87%. My sec 4 average (term 1) was 84.5% and my term 2 was 87.8% Also, i was wondering if they take into account our credits?
Thanks in advance!!
Hey guys, quick question. I applied to Enriched Health Sciences and got put on the waiting list. Iβve still been accepted into regular Health Sciences though which is great, but Iβm curious to just how many students are admitted into Enriched every semester. Just to put it out there, my average between Secondary 4 and 5 is around 92, my average in Math V is currently 93, Chemistry is 94, and Physics is 96. What do you guys think the chances are of me getting into Enriched by March 25th and, if any of you know, how many people are there in Enriched every semester?
Hi,
I want to get into medicine at McGill. I chose Enriched Pure and Applied science because I prefer the courses in that program over the courses in Health Science. I heard that it was possible to get into medicine at university even if you chose Pure and Applied Science at Dawson. My questions are the following:
videos were from years ago, maybe he didn't enrich uranium but something related from ore and so on, he also created heavy water. He mentioned the local sheriff came to see him also regarding his. He also made his own bullets and was a general tinker. I think he was a middle-age white man somewhere in America.
Hey, I'm in sec 4 right now and I'm wondering what are the requirements to have the best chance at getting in the enriched health science program. If anyone knows, please let me know, thanks!
So as a mature student in late 20s who hasnβt been to post secondary I am going back. Someone suggested I enrol in the ESP stream as a gateway into Computer Science. Instead of 6U prerequisites I would only need 3 - grade 12 calculus, grade 12 advanced functions and English. So thatβs a benefit I guess. I have 0 prerequisites at the moment. Basically my year of ESP would be 3 credits - one full year seminar (1.0 credit) which is a course unrelated to CompSci. I would also take Comp1005 first semester .5 credit , Math 1007 .5 credit. Second semester would be Comp1006 and Math 1104. So upon successful completion of these 3 credits I would have my credits transferred to CompSci program. So I would technically graduate in 5 years. Is this a good pathway or do you suggest doing the 6U prerequisites and applying as a normal applicant?
Before lunch, during my 3rd grade, a half dozen of us across all grades at the school would get on a normal school bus and be taken downtown. There was a new art program they were piloting at the old Tommy Condon's building. Any other alumni?
Remember learning unique wooden instruments we later used in a small, unscripted, public performance. It was run by some free spirits for the time. We made plaster masks with straws up our noses. Maybe later that Summer we did math and science and this time it took place in the Courtney middle school building, also downtown.
I guess I just want more info. Pictures were in the paper at the time, maybe they've digitized archives and I can dig up the article and more info.
Ferrous metal's day off
I was reading a lot about the ECs and extra activities given in first choice/ honours/ enriched science (both pure and health profile) and it has seminars, research opportunities, opportunities to publish in the dawson journal, etc. I wanted to know if all of that, especially the research and publishing opportunities are given in regular science that I was admitted to? And if so, how do I join. Thank you
