It would make sense that the medieval times, philosopher and militants think that a bullet is better and faster than a cannon ball, also it’s more accurate and aerodynamic, also it takes more gun powder per space.

Horizon Cannon Ball Rush Trick. You can throw Grenades & Thermites inside of the gravity lift. Useful if you’re about to rush. No need to aim grenades into the air assuming and hoping it will hit. Since a can cannon or golf ball launcher isn’t a DD/AOW/SBR/SBS etc. or even “firearm” when using non “anti-personal” ammunition, theoretically could a company or individual make a non-NFA suppressor for it? Similar to the suppressors that are on air rifles?
Edit: Also same question for signaling devices/flare guns like 37mm and 26.5mm
