A list of puns related to "Three point flexural test"
Hi,
I need to simulate Three-point flexural test of composite material. I set it up according to this video: https://youtu.be/yQcegBOHjxQ?list=PLRv1E7prRmEeK_LYW4zaxg-d64401Avhv except without any symmetry.
Simulation works fine if i use remote displacment, but i need to enter load of 100N instead; and then find directional deformation. If i use (remote)force larger than 1N it show error (magnitude limit was exceeded...).
Is possible to use (remote)force for this analysis? or what am I doing wrong?
For creating composite i used ACP. IΒ΄m using academic license. If you need some additional informationI will be happy to provide them. https://file.io/UMh6undRbTS9
Thanks

I just got my 1 hour glucose test results and failed by three points π (the cutoff is 140 and mine was 143).
Iβm am SO IRRITATED. I think I would be less mad if I had failed by a higher number but THREE POINTS? So closeβ¦
Iβm just grumpy, someone please commiserate the grump.
UPDATE: I went and took my three hour on Friday and found out I passed!! π₯³
Would it be fine to use the equation for deflection for a simply supported beam to solve for EI and plot EI as the load and deflection changes from the test data? EI should be constant but I get a linear curve so am thinking something is wrong. The composite is a metal foam sip panel.
I feel stupid for asking this, anyway, when asked to calculate the maximum flexure stress, let's say that "c" is the point on the y axis from the neutral axis. What value would 'c' be? Would it be the value from the neutral axis to the very edge? Would it depend also on whether you are trying to get a value for compression or tension and would the values for the max flexural stress be the same for tension as compression, except in the other way?

For bg: My mother has always been emotionally abusive and obviously mentally ill, she's crippled me over the years and has provided me with my own mental illness. I've always planned on cutting ties with her. Now however,I'm genuinely worried about the future.
She's been ignoring me entirely for the past few days and we haven't interacted, I didn't think much of it because I thought she was just in a bad mood and I've learned its best to leave her alone when she's like this. We were meant to go out last week but weren't able to because it got too late and she told me there was no point (despite me already being ready to go) so I figured she was just upset over that. After 3 days of no interaction she finally came into my room and revealed it was all some sort of sick test.
She said that she can't believe I wouldn't check on her after 3 days of isolation and that she can't believe I can live with myself knowing my mother mightve died in those three days (I knew she didn't, she was walking around). Then proceeded to say, and I quote, "these past few days have shown me I have no daughter and that I can't depend on you for anything. My biggest regret is not having a second child."
I suffer with untreated ADHD and moderate depression, I'm currently in Sixth Form (College for Americans) and because of Covid im in an incredibly bad situation all around. I'm borderline suicidal and she's aware of all of this because I've told her, I've told her how I feel towards her and how her actions hurt me in the past so she understands everything. I don't understand how she expects me to deduce that this was all a test when I'm already preoccupied by anything and everything else. She always behaves like this, irrational and unstable.
I dont know how I'm supposed to deal with this for the next few months or more, I'm already borderline suicidal thanks to school but with both of my parents not offering me support or attempting to do so I don't know what to do. I have no connection with the rest of my family so nothing to fall back on. I have no job but want to get one after my exams (which I'm already struggling with).
TLDR: Mother reveals three days of neglect was a sick test and concludes she no longer considers me her daughter, I'm mentally ill and already at tipping point. Please help
EDIT/UPDATE: After 15 minutes shes come back crying and apologising, blaming it on my father. She does this everytime without fail.

#*Edit: 3/29 in his last 5*
This season, Tatum is shooting under 32% from three point land (career low), and he's shooting a whopping 10.3% in his last 5 games.
vs Bulls: 1/5 (0/20 streak started on his third 3PA)
Pain.
(Reposted with sources because mods couldn't believe that Tatum has been this bad /s)
trying to get tested, but disabled and can't get there to test...so i'm like shit i mean do you really need a test?
don't get me wrong i'd like one, but if it's hard for us crips, not sure how much i want to chase it.
i called two urgent cares asking if i could ride up in my buddies pick up bed lol. i'm sick af too btw, hoping it's not covid obv.
Sorry if this question has been asked before but I just cannot seem to find a definitive answer. I need to know which one of these beams would generally be stronger in a three point bending test given that the cross sectional area and length of beam is the same for each. The reason I ask is because I have been asked to design a cross section that would be strongest in the three point bending test. I have come across these two shapes as the strongest types but canβt decide between them.

I know they look great when they go in, but perhaps he should lay off the difficult contested stepbacks to an extent for now lol
This is way too low to be taking 8 attempts a game

>The Clippers are the first team over the last 25 seasons to overcome a 24-point deficit and win 3 times in the same season. And they did it in just the month of January, beating the Nuggets, Sixers and now Wizards. And... they did all three without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
>The Clippers' 35-point comeback is the second-largest in play-by-play era (since 1996-97). The Jazz overcame a 36-point deficit against the Nuggets in 1996 per @ESPNStatsInfo . And the Clippers did it with mostly their reserves as Ty Lue leaned on likes of Mann, Kennard, Coffey.

[Sankofa] There it is. Cade Cunningham drains a 3 and has a career-high 32 points. 5:33 to play in the fourth. He's been insane tonight.
[Edwards] Cade Cunningham has a career-high 32 points and Detroit is down by just three. Heβs also got eight assists and six rebounds. 13-21 from floor, 6-9 from 3.
Pistons have their guy.
