So I am (hopefully, please go away covid) getting married in November. My wedding dress came in and I picked it up literally the day before everything shut down. Iβm going to need a couple of alterations done but have no idea who to trust to do them. Has anyone used a someone for their dress alternations and had good results?
Take the game that just concluded for example, the Lakers gave up 136 points, allowed the Celtics to shoot 55% from the floor, 47% from three, out rebounded by 12, lost the turnover battle by 3.
At one point in the third quarter the Celtics were generating open shot after open shot, getting to the rim at will with zero help coming and late close outs on the perimeter all night.
The problem tonight was very clearly defensive yet in this subreddit all I see is discussion about needing another bench scorer? Bashing Kuzma and Danny Green for their offensive inconsistency?
You canβt in one breath say βKuzma only cares about scoringβ and then in the next say βDanny Green doesnβt score enough. You canβt say βLeBron needs to commit to the defensive endβ if your analysis starts and stops with points per game.
Beyond all that, sometimes teams have a bad game. There doesnβt have to be an overarching narrative, sometimes you just lose.
Myself personally, I donβt think Rondo fits this team well. I think he takes minutes away from players who are better in their roles (Cook, Daniels, Caruso). I didnβt like his shifts tonight but I havenβt said one negative word about him because the whole team shit the bed tonight. There wasnβt one player responsible for giving up 136 points or 5 offensive rebounds in a row.
Just my two cents, sometimes I wonder what people are really seeing when they watch these games.

So...just got through Delta Rising with my Romulan and decided to poke around in the tailor some more for my kobali boff and decided to look at some of the others as well - and discovered schizophrenic madness.
Some of my Romulan boffs have Romulan only presets and uniforms available, some have additional (clearly) Romulan-only presets and uniforms (not counting the Reman-specific stuff here), and some have not only the full Romulan uniform set, but also the full Federation uniform set.
Meanwhile, my female Romulan captain has the least options of all!
Am I the only one that sees a problem here?
Iβve already used things like tlp, powertop, etc but would this help me in the slightest for battery problem would it make it just more responsive?

The guys manifesto is basically full of obscure internet references and the media loves to hate on that kind of thing. Also the fact that he LIVE STREAMED the thing. It was made for media attention and to get them talking about it for weeks. Whenever the media talks about shooters it inspires the nut jobs. We will only have more of these things if the media keeps reporting on them and honestly I feel like there should be some law that limits the air time a mass shooting story can get.

Enter Garak, a preferred dom of Enabran Tain, head of the Obsidian Order. Garak chose to relocate to a Bajoran space station to avoid political entanglements, after he was exiled following a particularly unfortunate scandal. The Bajorans largely refused to touch him with a ten-foot pole, giving him a measure of peace and quiet.
On the first day he opened his shop, Garak was surprised when his first customer walked in the door with an extra outfit. They were just getting to know each other in preparation for what promised to be quite the vigorous roleplaying lesson, when his would-be client suddenly thanked him and left without his clothes. Garak was disappointed, but tried to make the most of it and went ahead and hemmed them. Despite months of frustration and restful nights, Garak tried not to let it wear on him.
But eventually one of his particularly pricier and highly controlled toys malfunctioned. He made up a story about it being from the Obsidian Order to intrigue the station doctor and preserve his dignity. This had been one of his most common roleplays, so it was easy to step into. But gossip spread and soon his alleged role as an intelligence agent filled in the hidden dimension that people sensed.
Garak tried to correct the misunderstanding. βIβm just a plain, simple, whoreβ he told them over and over. No one seemed to understand. Eventually, he concluded it was easier to play along. Just for awhile.
Eventually Garak was reunited with Enabran Tain, his favorite client. Garak tried to play with Odo, This became hugely awkward when it became obvious that Odo had never been introduced to the concept of a safeword. Enabran Tain died. No one on Deep Space Nine would ever believe Garak wasnβt a Cardassian agent now.

Iβve seen so many posts the last few days about how to deal with this or that unwanted, supposedly unfair or otherwise unliked thing in the game. Perhaps especially about infestations.
I just wanted to give you a heads up you can change so many things in the scenario editor to your liking. Seems a lot of people donβt know about this.
When choosing your Scenario (ie Naked Brutality or Crashlanded), you have a tick to the left named βEdit Modeβ (i donβt have the game in front of me right now, but I think thatβs the name of it). Click it and you can make your own scenario! Either change an existing one or just put together your own.
Donβt like this or that kind of event or incident? DISABLE them entirely! Like the dreaded infestation.
Want to start with less wood and more steel? Change the numbers!
Want to start with 10 guys with Marine Armor and Charge Rifles? Make it so!
One thing I do that really change the game for the better is increasing all damage (150%). Makes combat more deadly and tactics more important. Combined with the Random Death Something (donβt remember the exact name) and Death Rattle mods makes a lot of pawns getting wounded, pretty often badly, but make most of them go down instead of dying. They might miss a limb or two, but thatβs just the Rim, you know.
Anyways... try it out! Iβm sure youβll be able to tailor the game to your liking and because of it enjoy it even more!
I know the wulin and new heros have their shit but the old ones like lb clearly not being biased need feat reworks.The only feat tailored to say lb are his grenades and the point but the second and third ones are just filler that and highlander with his spear storm but the rest of his feats are recycled
