PICS NOW VISIBLE -- Last night, my guild (Hellscreams Angels, H) stepped into MC for the first time ~as a guild~ albeit with a few spots filled by members of <The Corportation>. Overall, a super positive experience, but, several hours into the raid, a supposed random singled me out, saying that I (Cherry on Grobb/"Thotticus" on Retail) have a "Jewish Fish Nose" and something akin to my nose being so large that it wouldn't fit on mt. rushmore, before scurrying away.
At the time these comments were made, the individual's corresponding display name was @return the hunter. I found this odd, because there was a "return the hunter" conversation history in my recent DM list -- Prior to raid, I politely asked him to stop breathing into the mic. At this time, his display name was "Shetz". He has since changed his name back.

Turns out this Shetz guy is a member of <The Corporation>. Here is a screenshot of their discord from last night, post-raid. Notice the people in the voice channel and MeM's (Memoria) posting a video by the real Return the Hunter about 30 minutes before the mouth-breather decided to speak up in my discord.

However, they didn't cover their tracks. When you change your name on discord, discord RETAINS the ID #.

For context, we're all from Emerald Dream on retail. A cohort of jaded incels have been obsessed with my nose for over a year now. Not sure why they would frame the REAL Return, but I continued to look into this issue. I expect this idiocy from randoms, but I considered a friend in Memoria, a druid of <The Corporation>. Despite overwhelming evidence to implicate his guildmates, Memoria posted fake guild chat logs.

I'm talking about Ronnie and JD; he's changed up his impersonations of them to work better with the visual aspect of seeing the puppets talking, and they're just not as funny. Like everything else on the Stern Show now, it just feels overproduced and not as spontaneous. Instead of just yelling out short phrases in their voices, he now has to speak actual sentences, like a horrible SNL skit or something.

When having a dedicated server and clients, each client has its own peer ID. However, I've been concerned about this being hacked, resulting in a hacked client pretending to be another client, which is of course unideal when sending RPCs. I watched a video from a couple years ago, where Faless mentioned 3.0 client impersonation protection, but I'm not quite sure how it's implemented in the current Godot engine. Is there in-built engine protection to specifically prevent client impersonation? Do you have any advice for reducing client impersonation risk?

My younger brother (21) gave an officer my DOB and name when he was pulled over for driving without a license, insurance, and registration. At the time he had several warrants out for his arrest, two of which were non-violent felonies. 3 days later he was arrested and served almost a month in county jail. He’s now on probation and has a “strike” on his record. He’s also sober and we’re starting the process getting him to rehab for the first time. I’m starting my job hunt after graduating and would really like the charges from his false impersonation removed from my record. I’m set to appear in court for “my” charges soon, and have all the evidence to prove it was actually him. I know false impersonation is a wobbler in CA and I don’t want my brother to be prosecuted with a felony and sent to prison when he’s really attempting to turn his life around. I would appreciate any advice on how to navigate this situation.
TLDR: younger brother provided my info to the cops. I want to clear my name without sending him to prison. He’s got one felony strike and is on probation. The probation and strike were issued AFTER the false impersonation.
