A list of puns related to "The Best of Rob Zombie"
The childhood scenes of Michael Myers in the remake is imo Zombies best work of his career. Sheri was a very convincing as a single mother. She was also very likable. I even enjoyed Ronnie and little Michael. The very first kill is one of the grittiest death scenes in the series. The only thing i wish was changed was how irrelevant Michael killing Judith was in the reboot. In the original killing Judith was a big deal
I like House of 1000 Corpses and love The Devil's Rejects, but I find the Fireflies too simplistic and unlikable to sustain a series. House of 1000 Corpses worked because they were simply antagonists, and The Devil's Rejects worked because it was comparing the moralistic sheriff to the amoral Fireflies, and ultimately showing how they're no different from each other. But I couldn't get into 3 From Hell because I don't want to watch three psychopaths get away with murder, torture and rape endlessly, learning nothing, never changing, and never suffering any repercussions. The Devil's Rejects was the perfect ending to their story; they didn't die at the hands of the sheriff through slow, sadistic torture, because no one deserves to die that way. Instead, they were put down like the rabid dogs they were. It's very unsatisfying to see them survive that, and then to get out of prison (through incredibly contrived, illogical means) and just go on as they were before, hurting innocent people just 'cause.
It's a shame Rob Zombie wasn't able to move on from the horror genre after Lords of Salem, as he had wanted to. I genuinely think everything he did up to and including Lords of Salem was at the very least interesting and passionate. But with 31 and 3 From Hell, you can't tell the passion is no longer there as these aren't the movies he wants to make. It's just all he can get made at this point.
So many of his βoff the cuffβ stories are recycled and weβve heard them a million times. And itβs so annoying how Robin plays into them, acting like itβs the first time sheβs ever heard the story
Hello - working on selling some items that I do not listen to frequently.
Everything was purchased new by me, and was played once or twice - or in some cases, never. Stored upright in protective sleeves, smoke free and pet free home.
Will negotiate if multiple albums are purchases as there are a few dollars of shipping built into the pricing.
All prices include shipping to the lower 48.
Thanks for looking.
After watching the new Leatherface movie I was pretty much dumbfounded as to how a movie in a franchise could ever possibly go so wrong. I love the TCM universe and think it's an absolute shame that the franchise has been largely disregarded and mistreated lately. I think the perfect person to bring it back to it's glory would be Rob. I know his Halloween movies got a lot of hate but I feel like TCM would be more up his alley. The first 20 mins or so of 31 felt kind of early TCM to me. House of 1000 Corpses certainly had some similarities with the crazy family aspect. I think if he did an oldstyle throwback style chainsaw movie it could potentially be pretty incredible. I know there is no chance it would ever happen... however... I can't help but think it would breathe some much needed life into the series if it did.
