So I was playing l4d2 one day when my 8 year old cousin came and watched me play l4d2. Theres mod I had like shrek and teletubbies. So my cousin was watching me murder teletubbies and may have screwed her up with that.
This obviously happened a LONG time ago.
The Teletubbies were very popular at my high school (yes seriously), especially amongst kids that did drugs (for obvious reasons.) I remember once my teacher said we could just watch TV for the rest of class because she didn't have anything else to talk about that class and guess what show was playing that everyone asked to watch? Teletubbies.
My sister meanwhile who was 7 about this time hated it when I was watching Teletubbies at home because it was the "cool" show. She thought they were creepy and scary.
Anyone one summer day she was kind of annoying me while I was watching TV before her bedtime so during a commercial I went to her room and came back quick. I told her I heard the Teletubbies giggling so I looked under her bed and they were hiding there.
She freaked out and told my parents. They kept telling her that the Teletubbies don't exist in real life so they can't be under her bed but she refused to listen. So she ended up sleeping in their bed that night and the next few days. Needless to say they weren't happy with me. I thought it was silly she was so afraid of a show for literal babies, it'd be like being afraid of Barney or Sesame Street.
Asshole thing?

Screaming Females formed in New Brunswick, NJ in 2005, and they are Marissa Paternoster (guitar/vocals), Mike "King Mike" Abbate (bass), and Jarrett Dougherty (Drums). For more than a decade the band has kept their DIY spirit heard in their sound since they began. A dynamic band whose albums make you feel like youβre at the show. They released their seventh studio album All At Once was released on February 23, 2018 and Iβm here to write about it!
Review by /u/trista2
Like every good New Jerseyan I have to defend my state like always. Our great state seems to always be overshadowed by our cons, rather than by our pros. But I always start with how great our bands/artists are: Whitney Houston, Parliament Funkadelic, Lauryn Hill, Ice-T, Yo La Tengo, The Misfits, Bouncing Souls, The Gaslight Anthem, Titus Andronicus, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, and of course the Screaming Females. They have released solid album after solid album after thirteen, going on fourteen, years and theyβve shown no signs of stopping, especially on All At Once. They play it straightforward like their last album Rose Mountain, but the tone is way more mature and dramatic. The mix feels more full, more so than any project by the group before. Marissa Paternosterβs triumphant vibrato and earth-shattering howls play well into the albums more theatrical moments. Plus, the addition of vocal harmonies brings more out of the album, with most tracks just begging you to sing along. Additionally, the lyrics read not only like unfound scripture by man about the apocalypse, but also a manual on how not to be a dick.
The inclusion of newer instrumentation adds some aspects we havenβt heard from the band before. Alex Abrams plays the cello at the end of the albumβs intro, βGlass Houseβ, a song about being

Hobo Johnson's The Fall of Hobo Johnson is a gut wrenching emo rap/alternative rock release that lets itself breathe with Hobo's goofy personality and sense of humor. Come read about it at Matt Challenges Music!
