A list of puns related to "Tajima"
Hey guys, Iβm about to have access to a multi head tajima embroidery machine, my experience has only ever been with singular. Is there anything I should know about the process of multi head thatβs different than single?
As an operator, the engineering and timing of the machines both mystified and intimidated me. Now that I work on them every day, I can definitely say they are still incredible pieces of machinery, but not nearly as complicated as I thought they were for such a long time.
For a little more info, I've been a commercial embroidery machine technician primarily doing repairs, refurbishing and support on older model Tajima, Barudan, and Brother machines. I don't remember the Barudan (normal head styles, not the turrets) and Brother model numbers, but they were all 6-15 head machines. As for Tajima, I've worked on a lot of TME-DCs, TMFX-C and TMFX-IIC, TFMX-IIC, Neos, TMEX, and TEHX, all multi and single heads. All Tajimas are fairly similar though in one way or another, so I can probably figure out any of their models besides the newest bleeding edge auto-tensioning ones. Also I've messed with some of the new Chinese branded machines the company I work for vendors, but they aren't my forte. They are mostly Tajima head style knock-offs though, so π€·ββοΈ.
Edit: I think there are some great questions asked that could be turned into general guides to sticky for people that are new to embroidery. I'll work on some of those to post later. Thanks everyone!
I'll be keeping an eye on my inbox if anyone else comments on this, but I won't be checking it every day anymore. Feel free to PM me if anyone ever has a technical questions about machines, I'd be glad to help as much as I can!

I'm out of options and throwing the hail mary here.
VCFtools has a tajima's D command but it uses a user set window size to measure the stat over that given bin. I have my genes located though and just want to measure tajima's D over the regions I have in my bed file.
Anyone have experience with this?
Iβve been thinking about the possibility of Harukiβs father being dead and what that could lead to and came with a new theory about where the story could go.
First I want to talk about the other theories. I also added a poll at the end and would like to read your opinions.
Tajima could have died an "untimely death full of regret" indeed; an accident or health problems are more than likely considering his drinking problem and there is a chance that Yato came after him with a vengeance. His spirit getting "stuck" in the far shore is a real possibility but I believe his ghost would be corrupted into an ayakashi.
I have a problem believing a spirit like his could or should remain pure and eligible to become a shinki however, there is a theory I canβt dismiss (no matter how much I dislike it); Tajima being a shinki adds drama to the story and if he happens to be Kuraha as someone in tumblr suggested all hell would break loose. I still would hate what this would mean for Bishamon and Kuraha (character assassination in my eyes) and I just donβt want to see it.
Now with that out of the way, letβs talk about what may make more sense and ultimately lead to a resolution that could solve most of Yato and Yukineβs problems.
What is supposed to happen to the spirits of murderers when they die? Arenβt they supposed to go Yomi? If Tajima is in Yomi, would Yukine power through his fear of the dark and risk everything just to get his hands on him? Would Yato return to Yomi for Yukine fearing the boy is putting more in his mouth that he can chew? To me, the answers to these questions is a resounding yes.
And now letβs talk about Father. The thing he tried to tempt Yukine with when they first met alone and face to face was the knowledge of how he escaped from Yomi and came back to life. Yukine didnβt want to know at the time because he still trusted Yato and was determined to reject anything that could come from this man but now things are very different.
We know the process might involve an enshrined grave, a trip to Yomi and a soul call. Could Yukine meet all the requirements?
Ebisu and Takemikazuchi are going to Tamatsuki and might learn the truth about the sorcerer. Yuka, Hiyori and Mizuchi have to become involved and Yato will never abandon or give up on Yukine. This could lead to all of Yukineβs loved ones coming together to save him, helping him realize his true name and identity (the name is key for the soul call).
So what could this mean? Yukine would live
... keep reading on reddit β‘So recently I was reading about yadome jutsu to try and find out if this art is still practiced anywhere today, how historically practical it may have been, and to see if it is actually included in the Bugei jΕ«happan, the wiki page says it sometime is and isn't depending on who you ask... but that's beside the point. I came to learn about Gochi-in no Tajima, or in English Tajima the arrow cutter and was wondering if anyone here knows anything more about this story and if its made up and romanticised/exaggerated or if it actually happened, apparently Tajima walked onto a bridge alone and deflected countless arrows. From what I know Benkei and that viking at the battle of Stamford Bridge were both real as were their feats. So perhaps with a naginata and armour this could be done.
So... quick disclaimer, this is absolutely me gunning for my one pick. But I've seen so many comments about how Taji can only do cool or badass concepts, which is so untrue that it's honestly confusing.
Shogo did get the ex-K-pop trainee edit, but that's not remotely where he started. He actually was a Johnny's Jr. for several years, before debuting in a group called G-AGE that tragically disbanded after their company's CEO was revealed to be creepy as hell. (I wouldn't say he really has an advantage in fandom because of being a Johnny's or because of G-AGE; Vasayegh Hikaru was with him for most of that time, including in G-AGE, and he's not even top 11.) And during this time, Taji did cute after cute after cute concept. So not only can he pull off these concepts, it also makes sense why he'd try so hard to appear "badass", since he was solely cute for so long.
And even if you stick to things that have just happened during the show... he's a complete boomer who doesn't know how to use Tiktok, he's got an adorable smile, and he falls down whenever he's scared or... whenever something happens, really. He's a good leader who's clearly feeling a lot of pressure to excel, and seeing so many comments about how he can only do one thing or about how he's worse than Masaya (why even compare them? I get the show's doing the rivals print, but they have such different energy that it's like I'm looking at two separate worlds. If they both make it to the final group, won't none of that matter anyway...?) is just really, really disheartening. I don't know how many chances he's going to get after this, if this one doesn't work out.
So there's a quick primer on Taji. Hopefully now people will understand that he has a lot more than he's shown on screen so far, and that his popularity is more than deserved. It's okay if you dislike him, I get it, there are popular trainees I can't stand, but please make your criticisms of him make sense.
If write ups like this are allowed, I might do one for Koshin next, because he's a really hardworking kid with an excellent attitude and the only comment I've seen on him here is that his vocals aren't up to par... whatever par is, seeing as he's a 17 year old boy who was a monk before January, and before then it's extremely doubtful he had v
