A list of puns related to "Sung Ji ru"
Recently, Iβve been seeing a lot of posts & comments here and there (not just on Reddit), praising Ji-sung Park and how underrated he is. I even read a few comments referring to him as "Prem Legend". Although I absolutely love the guy (I'm Korean in my late 20s and he was my hero growing up), as a football fan who's been watching the Prem since the early 2000s, I simply have to disagree.
He was most definitely an unsung hero for Manchester United during his 7 seasons at the club, in the sense that he covered an insane amount of ground every match, and was occasionally the key element to SAF's tactical mastermind (man-marking Pirlo in the 09-10 UCL Round of 16 vs AC Milan, for example).
However, for someone to be discussed as a legend, it is my strong belief that he should at least have been a consistent starting member of his team during his career (when not injured, of course).
Park was not. At least from my memory. I remember that he was extremely hard working and had an incredible professional mindset, but was a reliable squad player at most. Kind of like Nani. In fact, a lot of their Prem records (NANI & PARK) are strangely similar, including the number of appearances (154 & 147), wins/losses (95/26 & 95/26)...etc. But I've personally never seen a single post or comment praising Nani for what he was at Man United, let alone being a Prem legend. Yes, their playstyles were very different, but I think you get the point.
I personally think the amount of time that has passed since his retirement really fabricated people's memory about him. That and the fact that he's one of the very few Asian players who were successful in the Prem.
What do you guys think? Is Park overrated right now, or are there some of you who genuinely consider him a legend of the game?
So i have both of these cards. I play a 4-2-2-2 which has an LMF and RMF. Both the cards are LMF. I was wondering whom out of the two to keep at LMF and whom at RMF.
So , I haven't seen park ji sung play in his prime , so I want to know who do you think is the better player / who will be remembered as the best South Korean footballer ever ?
Hello everyone, I haven't posted on this sub reddit before!
A friend of mine and I are trying to decide who you would rather have on your team (both is not an option) in their prime.
Thanks!
Got him while opening box draw. For anyone using him, what are your thoughts? My friend has the im card and he said its decent but idk about the legend card. For anyone thats using him, what are your thoughts about him? Which position is he best other than lmf?
