I also have some single issues that I am looking for. Specifically:
Suicide Squad (original Ostrander run, not the new 52 or newer series)
Brave and the Bold (original series that from 50s - 80s)
DC Comics Presents (original series from 80s)
Kamandi (original series)
If you have any of these you would like to trade, send me a list of issues you have, or send me a note and I will let you know what issues I am looking for. Thanks!
What are your thoughts on it? I thought it was very beautiful and clever, but somehow incomprehensible. Am I lazy if I think a comic book can be "too hard to read"?
In 2020, my girlfriend moved into a small studio with a backyard that I already was staying at. It was very small think of a standard one bedroom with a wall for a bathroom (no door). We used hot plates and toaster oven, but we were a great team and made it through it together.
After a while a stray cat comes over and bonds with my girlfriend eventually staying in the yard everyday. She feeds him and plays with him forming a solid relationship between both of them. I honestly never cared since he was an outdoor cat only coming inside when raccoons would come and try to fight with him. It was so ideal since he and us would have our space.
2021 hit and I progressed in my career making over double what I made when I first moved into the studio leading us to upgrade into a nice 1 bedroom that allowed animals. I make enough to pay for everything and still have money to spare so it seemed logical. Only issue was now we have an outdoor cat that my girlfriend adores and he canβt be outdoor anymore...
At first it was a little rocky between the cat any me since he pissed on the floors and in my brand new shoes twice.. we figured it was stress and it stopped. He still has an issue with going to bathroom and running out with shit still coming out or on him which is a bit annoying. I made it clear to her that it is her cat and I am co-existing with it.
Today, he ran out with shit on him and I spent 45 minutes or more looking for it since it dropped on the floor. I was unable to and told my girlfriend to handle it since Iβm over it. She ended up finding it right away & on her shoe. I told her itβs because his litter box is full since she didnβt clean it yesterday like she said & when itβs full he gets prissy and runs out as quick as possible causing this issue.
She than proceeds to ask me to start cleaning it and I refused since I didnβt even really want that cat but allowed it to stay if she took care of it. I thought that agreement was fair since she wanted it. She got mad and told me if I donβt want to help than donβt feed him either which was weird to say since I wake up 5hours everyday before her to go to work so itβs logical I feed him in the morning. My girlfriend wants me to start helping do something I made clear I did not wish to do, I already go beyond and do a full litter clean out every Sunday and wash the box which to me is more than enough.
I am not looking forward to this summer since she gets to go on a nice vacation while Iβm stuck work

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.

True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"

He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
You officially hit rock bottom
I may be crazy, but for my first PC build I chose to use the Silverstone SG13 case, the tiny toaster as I aptly call it. It is a beautiful case but is incredibly small. I'm going to chronicle the step by step process of building this little beast and write reviews for each product under their respective titles. My friend did build most of it for me, but it was still a fun experience and I learnt so much from doing some of it myself.
Silverstone SG13 case:
The side panels were easy to remove, with just a few simple screws at the back. It was removed by pulling the sides back then upwards. There isn't much to say about the case other then it looking kinda cute, even with its industrial style. The small interior (only 11.5L) actually managed to fit all the components, aside from one small fan, with ease and a little bit of breathing room. I'd highly recommend this case for a small space, like I do, as the free corner of my desk happens to be SG13 sized. The only issue I had with it was that when reattaching the side panels, it would not line up correctly. This has left a very small gap between the front of the case and the side. I don't know if I did anything wrong or if the case I bought happened to be slightly defective, but it is a very mild cosmetic issue and barely noticeable. What may be an issue for some people is the lack of space for cable management. I tried my best to keep it as attractive and neat as possible, but the lack of space definitely left some stray cables, 4/5.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU:
As my PC hasn't been booted into windows yet, I can't comment on the quality of the CPU. However, it did install effortlessly and has been recognised in the BIOS. This part of the installation was one of the scariest due to the possibility of moving one of the pins connecting the motherboard to the CPU. However, when it fell into place, it was the biggest relief ever. I chose this CPU rather than a more powerful one as I had wanted to avoid purchasing a larger cooler, and thus getting a larger case. Also, it was at a reasonable price of only Β£145.
Western Digital SN750 1TB M.2 SSD:
There's not much to say about this as it's an SSD. I chose an M.2 drive to save on space and cables and I can confirm that it works. I may upgrade at a later date with a second M.2 drive if I find that 1TB isn't enough, but previous PC's I have used have only had 1TB and I still had space to spare. I would recommend this, as it is cheaper compared to Samsung and is by a reput

No it doesn't.

Welcome to Dear My Cat! A lot of questions have been posted into the subreddit recently and they're starting to get repetitive so I thought it would be nice to have them all in one place.
