I know right when everything went down and Steve "exited" NFG he put guitars up for sale. I know some of his Jazzmasters have surfaced on YouTube but anyone know what happened to his strats? Was thinking of buying it back when but didn't have enough cash for what he was asking.
If I remember right he started with modding Big Apple strats to one pickup (EMG). But then it shifted to custom shops with sparkle paint and star inlays on the fretboard. Looked pretty cool. Anyone have one or seen them resurface somewhere? Since he stopped using them around 2004ish there isn't that many high quality images out there. He had photos on his IG but now that is set to private and feel weird requesting him haha

Haven’t heard anything from about it in years, from what I remember he faced some serious accusations. I always kinda thought he got the short end of the stick, it seemed like it might be a case of the girl he was chatting with said she was over 18 since that’s a prerequisite for using most sites. I could definitely be wrong though. Can’t find any new articles online about whatever ended up happening.

It was a huge deal a couple of years ago that he was caught with kiddie porn. He requested a gag rule to be put on the case but the judge declined his offer. I can't find any recent news articles saying if he ever got convicted or not. Does anyone know what happened?

Sometimes A major isn't great
New Found Glory & Alkaline Trio did a co-headlining tour in the fall of 2013. Their last show of the tour was November 25th in Tucson AZ, where I happened to be living at the time. It was a great show, and it didn't it click until now that it was Steve Klein's last performance ever with the band. They announced his "departure" from the band 2 weeks later on 12/12/2013.
The interesting part is, his technical "last performance" with NFG was actually during Alkaline Trio's set, with NFG dressed up as AK3 playing Private Eye. Watch it here, Steve is on the left in the red hat.. I have a few other songs I recorded that night from NFG's set on my channel too if you're interested. They split ending the show every other night, and it was AK3's turn to play last, thus Steve actually ending his NFG career with an AK3 song.
