OTD in 1988, WiderΓΈe Flight 710 crashes into a mountain near BrΓΈnnΓΈy, Norway killing all 36 on board. The cause of the crash was the flight crew descending earlier than intended, along with a passenger in the jumpseat conversing with the captain which is in direct violation of Sterile Cockpit Rule.

OTD in 2006, Comair Flight 5191 crashed after the flight crew tried to takeoff on the wrong runway. The crash was caused by compounding factors leading to pilot error; Failing to observe runway cues, non-sterile cockpit procedures, and lack of crossing clearances, killing 49 of the 50 onboard.

Is it just me or do a lot of doctors not follow scrub/sterile field rules?
I was washing my hands next to a doctor at the sink and I was surprised at how lax his scrub routine was. The nurse working with him was even worse.
Maybe itβs just the region Iβm in, but it does make me wonder if a lot of these rules are for fluff....

Netherwing Flight is not Sterile like the Azeroth Flights?
I saw on the wiki that in Cataclysm, there is mention of eggs in the Netherwing Flight, in the same expansion of the game that left the Dragon Aspects Sterile.
Is there any clarification here?

I played a game earlier where my opponents didnβt like my deck theme, so they ganged up on me. But no one told me they didnβt like it in our Rule 0. Am I wrong for being annoyed?
Edit: thanks everyone who understood the point of this post. The best advice Iβve heard here is to just be more pushy during rule 0 to really emphasize what my deck does and dig deeper into if anyone has any issues.
For everyone else who replied, I know itβs winter time so letβs try and keep the salt on the roads :) thanks for being the half toxic mess everyone knows r/edh to be though lol

My deck is a [[Eternal Dominion]] deck, where I just try to cast it and play my opponents cards. I was SUPER up front in our rule 0 convo and everyone said they were fine with it. Enter the game, everyone just went hard at me. They all said they hate that style of deck so they wanted me out of the game.
First off, whatβs the point of a rule 0 convo if not to discuss things like this before hand? If you donβt like the deck style, tell the player so they can play something else!
Am I wrong for being incredibly annoyed by the way my opponents acted?

What are some of your personal rules when building a new deck?
Things that will be present in every deck that you make.
For myself, I like to have at least two planeswalkers in a deck, since they are pretty good at breaking stalemates. Also, if a land produces colored mana and comes untapped, itβs probably better than a basic land, even if it has a super niche effect.
What about you?
