A list of puns related to "Shan State Army South"
Myanmar has been in a state of war since before independence, ethnic militias, rival claimants to the government and even elements within the state have vied for power for nearly a century. The events over the last few years have proved a major shifting point in the conflict.
The complete collapse of military control in much of Myanmar opened up the possibility of the Shan State Army - South to reemerge as a prominent force in the region, well beyond their mountain strongholds. After the death of its leader, Yawd Serk, several years back, Kherh Ngeun was promoted to the rank of Lt. Gen and Chairman of the RCSS and swiftly imposed a stricter policy of noncooperation with the military government. Under Lt. Gen. Kherh Ngeun. Kherh Ngeunβs SSA-S continued to advocate for cooperation with other ethnic militias in order to achieve their often common end goals, particularly with allied groups such as the Chin National Army, Karen National Liberation Army and the Kachin Independence Army. While this was taking place, the SSA-S was faced with what to do with the smaller albeit rival power of the Shan State Army - North which operated in the more northern regions.
As the SSA-S established itself as the dominant rebel faction in the Shan areas, it resparked clashes with rebel groups such as the Taβang National Liberation Army and the United Wa State Army who claim parts of the Shan lands as their own. One of the most difficult decisions that would be how much attention should be given to the alliance with the weakening Arakan Liberation Army given the surprising strength of the Islamic State of Arakan. The SSA-S has commenced simply referring to themselves as the Shan State Army and at times the Shan State National Army in attempts to claim greater legitimacy among the population.
Although the SSA has taken control over the largest sections of the Shan lands, there is much work to be done in securing the whole of the territories. The SSA believes that new alliances may be needed in undertaking their efforts.
And here we are: The fourth and final part of our series for Tom Kratman's masterpiece of excrement, A State of Disobedience.
So far, Texas is under full scale invasion, but our, "heroes" have survived so far thanks to the paleolithic levels of imbecility expressed by the book's villains. Air support has been reduced to a myth because pilots are refusing to fly, artillery is seldom seen and used even less, and the majority of the action displayed in the book thus far is just infantry on infantry nonsense that need not happen if the characters in question merely used their brains.
So here's hoping all the main characters die soon, Part 4!
