Why does it look like me, it's trippy
currently rocking a shaved head but that actually looks like me when I have my normal haircut
Context: I'm on holiday Q1 2022, and was pondering going on a "magical retreat" and doing an intense/immersion regimen of magical/spiritual exercises throughout the day, for 90 days.
I thought I'd ask the cards if this were a good idea.

I'll skip my card by card interpretations, but my conclusion was , eh not so hot an idea, - look at all that water (6 of 12 cards are cups), maybe I'm expecting too much from this / loading too much expectations into this, and the short term future seems void (Fool,) and the only trump is Fool (as immediate outcome) though ultimate outcome (Queen of cups) seems decent enough.

Again I'll skip details of the interpretation but this time my conclusion was
"hell no! look at the spread, every underworld card is present, - the line from SkyFather to Abyss is all negative, - all underworld cards, with Magical Attack added, with Disease as Fate Pattern to boot! I'll get screwed if I tread this path, which is somehow very imbalanced"
My concern: If I'd just stuck with the Rider Waite reading, I would have probably looked for min

but i found another deck(and book) called the Modern Mystic: True Tarot (Book and Tarot Deck by Benita French), its from kmart and is accessible for me to get but there are no reviews or ratings on the item listing so i was wondering if anyone knew about this deck and if it is any good, or any shops that could be recommended for beginners tarot, thank you!

Why is the RW deck always recommended to beginners? Is there a special cause to this?
Hi guys, I just have a few questions about how and where to start tarot reading
So I have a set of oracle cards and would like to start learning about the tarot too. I saw on reddit somewhere (sorry I forgot who you are) that said they would journal everyday to learn about the meanings and connect to the deck more, and i want to try this as it sounds like a fun way to connect to my deck
The problem is, is that I went to a shop and chose the oracle cards that I own now because I felt connected to it. I don’t have any local shops that sell the rider Waite set and looking online I don’t know if I feel the most drawn to it. But at the same time alot of people had said that this deck is the best to learn with because of the symbolisms and colours
Do you guys think that I should purchase this deck as my starter deck and if you have this deck, would you recommend it for a beginner tarot reader?
So I read tarot on tiktok but tiktok will ban me for nudity if I post certain nude cards such as The Lovers. I'm looking for a non-nude deck that still holds true to the RWS symbolism. Of course, I'm missing out on some symbolism because it lacks the nudity, but that's a sacrifice I have to make! Any recommendations would be helpful.
