A list of puns related to "Rather Be the Devil"
Iβve been referred to look into subs about demonology when Iβve asked in the past, but Iβm really looking to understand the culture and what they believed 2000 years ago. Any resources or further reading to understand NT culture and beliefs would be appreciated.

Please answer without redefining the question ( i.e. "I think being right is winning.")
For this example being right and winning are mutually exclusive
Which one do you choose?
Edit for any confusion: You can use your own subjective definition of right. For you personally it's the objectively right definition
I've noticed that I've always associated the Devil with very negative meanings, but I have the feeling that there could be more?
I know 17 wins isnβt THAT many, but working a full time job + relationship + real life stuff makes it impossible for me to ever imagine getting 17 wins after going through all of the other challenges.
It took me up until tonight to hit the 17 win challenge and thereβs no way in hell iβll get close to 17 wins before the challenges reset. It seems completely counter intuitive (like almost everything else in this game) and should be looked at imo.
If the challenge was win 30 games, but was available all week to be worked towards while doing other challenges, it would be much more fair and still give an incentive to grind out games. It would also let people that donβt have the option to play 8 hours a day have a chance of actually completing all of the challenges in a week.
The reward isnβt anything special, but itβs like the one thing in this game that you can actually work towards just by playing and even that is plagued by FOMO.
The whole system really needs to get looked at :(
A beautiful woman comes to earth and states that she's God, making everyone aware that heaven is filling up while performing miracles and saying the quickest way to reach heaven is to just kill yourself. The entire world rushes to commit suicide but hell fills instead as the woman is the devil.
If you pick devil fruit, which devil fruit would you choose? And if you pick haki, which types of haki would you get?
Okay, just looking to get some other peoples thoughts and insights into this topic, and this seemed like the best place to do so.
The more research that I do into possession, either of locations or individuals; and the more that I study the occult and paranormal in general; the more likely it appears to me that 'The Devil' is actually a term that spirits and demons use that means: "one that possesses or haunts, most likely for the purpose of taking unwary souls".
This is why almost every time an individual is 'possessed' and the individuals attempting to communicate with the entity ask who it is, the entity responds by stating that it is 'The Devil'.
In other words, it's just giving a title that the spirits and demons know frightens people, while still telling the truth and not actually revealing anything about itself that could be used to fight it off. Kind of like we would call someone 'The IT Guy', or 'The Supervisor'. It is 'The Devil', the entity that is possessing a person or location in the hopes of finding a soul to take.
Thoughts?
Notes: For clarification, I am not asking how to perform a Christian exorcism. I am aware of the ceremonies, holy items, and the precautions that should be followed. I do admire some of your willingness to share your versions of them, and thank you for sharing.
The only people who have been calling Asta's devil the 'Anti-Magic devil' are characters with little to no knowledge of devils and their world. For all we know, there is no evidence that his magic affinity is literally Anti-Magic. We also don't know how exactly the devil-possession process works, but that's another story.
We do know that this devil's body is made of a black anti-magic matter, and Asta has been channeling this matter through his swords as well as his own body. But what would happen if Asta's devil stole Asta's body and had a flesh body and a dark grimoire to use like the Word Soul Magic devil did? Would he use 'Anti-Magic Creation' spells? Or does he have another magic affinity altogether? I believe some of our questions about devils will be answered with the current arc, but I don't think we should be assuming that Asta's devil is just the Anti-Magic devil.
Rules are these The Devil-
You have 3 wishes, anything goes except immortality(invincibility is also not allowed)
Once you make your first wish a countdown starts for 13years, once that ends you die.
The wish can be anything, fame, money, superpowers, literally anything that u can think of.
God-
You dont get any wishes but you gain the ability of flight and invincibility.
The invincibility mean that you lose the ability to feel pain(except emotional) but gain super regeneration(doesnt matter how much is destroyed it will grow back, head included)
Doesnt matter how old you are while making the deal, you will die at a natural age of 77 and go to Heaven.
By flight i mean you can choose either growing wings from your back or no wings and you just appear like floating.
Note: You cannot cheat the system like asking for extra wishes or making a deal with both(as in asking the devil for a deal with god)
Everyone should aim to be kind to each other. It makes the world a nicer place. Empathy, compassion, magnanimity, service, and selflessness all make the world a more beautiful place. Whether you care about awakening or not, it is probably a good idea to espouse positive, life-affirming values. Now that we got that out of the way, letβs proceed:
Awake implies a couple things (1) an indifference to good and bad, and (2) following the path of least resistance. As just so happens, following the path of least resistance tends to result in βgoodβ behavior. All of us lead better quality lives when we cooperate, so itβs usually in our best interest to play nice. Awakening will likely make you into a βbetterβ person, not that you care; only because itβs natural.
The very things we hold as virtues are simply natural byproducts of being awake. The easiest way to live is simply and responsibly. However, many individuals try to act the part of a holy person before they know who they are, and they do it resentfully.
Granted, certain impulses should be curtailed, like stealing and violence. An unconscious person is a dangerous one, lacking innate moral capacity, and rules need to be enforced. However, if everyone lived from the truth of their being, Iβm not sure that rules and laws would be necessary. Laws are mere abstractions and reductions of a larger cosmic order; and if we were emptied out enough such that our behavior was in seamless unity with the grand, ever-changing design, they would be superfluous. However, until then, we need rules and laws.
There are a lot of people, particularly spiritual and religious types, who take pride in being βgoodβ. They honor their duties, take care of their family, are active in their community, and give to charity. However, they do it to maintain a sense of identity as a βgoodβ person, not as a natural consequence of living in alignment. As a result, they are always in perpetual struggle with themselves, as if there is an eternal war between angels and demons occurring within their psyche.
These individuals are always struggling to do the right thing. In less Judeo-Christian terminology, itβs a war between the ego and the cosmos, caused by the artificial division that arises with the creation of the ego as a psychological construct. Remove identification with ego, and all that remains is the greater movement of the totality, which one would generally see as βgoodβ. If there is such a thing as evil in the world, it is ego-ide
... keep reading on reddit β‘Basically Iβm trying to figure out if Iβm genderfluid, multigender, demi-gender or genderflux? Or more than one of these?
Sometimes I feel like a man, more closely aligned with the binary though I usually want to present femininely as a man.
Then sometimes my gender feels more ambiguous, like in between male and female but not either or both. Something like androgyne or neutrois I think?
And then sometimes I feel neither of those things, not really a lack of gender but more like my concept of gender transcends gender, for lack of a better explanation? Hopefully that makes sense.
Idk iβm just confused lol. I thought I was a just a binary trans man for a few years then I realized that I donβt always feel like that.
If anyone has any thoughts at all about this I would love to hear it. And I welcome any other suggestions for gender identities you think of that might fit me or that I should look into. Hope yβall are having a good day :)
the city of huntsville is the largest us city without a flag, which is a shame since it had a huge role during the space race where the saturn v was developed and built
