A list of puns related to "Quintet (company)"
I'm sure many others here were surprised just as I was to see Actraiser Renaissance both announced and shadow dropped in this Nintendo Direct. This is a remake of one of the earliest Super Nintendo games, released only a few months after the SNES launched, and a game fondly remembered by many fans of that era.
As far as I can tell, this also marks the first time since 2007 that Square Enix has released Actraiser in any form, with that release being nothing more than a release on Wii Virtual Console. Prior to that, there was a mobile phone port in Europe in 2004 and... um... that's about it.
Here's the thing, though - it's not just Actraiser that Square Enix has been overlooking all these years. They've been overlooking the entire library of games developed by Quintet, a company that got absorbed into Enix and then Square Enix and then slowly faded away in the early 2000s. However, before then, it was known for making some of the most acclaimed RPGs and Action-RPGs on the Super Nintendo. Their works included not only Actraiser and Actraiser 2, but also Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, and Robotrek.
Could Actraiser Renaissance be an indication that we may see these other Quintet games released on modern platforms in some form? Welllll... I wouldn't go that far. Square Enix hasn't even brought Chrono Trigger or its pre-PlayStation Final Fantasy games to Switch, so this seems more likely to be an odd, random one-off more than anything. However, Actraiser Renaissance does at least seem to provide the flicker of hope that the company may one day bring back these beloved classics.
Or at least, so it seems to me. What do you think?
Which album do we get?

I just finished reading The Chaos Curse, and I'm curious about a few things from the Cleric Quintet series. Please, no spoilers as I'm reading through the books according to the list I found in this sub ( I have The Legacy ready to read/listen to next).
I know this is a side arc as none of the other "main" characters were really mentioned, minus a blip about Mithral Hall in book 4 or 5. Do the events in the Quintet come into play further along in the main Drizzt line?
What timeframe do the events in these books take place, compared to say, The Icewind Dale Trilogy?
Lastly, but definitely what intrigues me the most:
Do we hear more about the characters from here, especially Cadderly, Danica, and the Bouldershoulders?
Thanks!
Is there any standard strategy in terms of the order of a quintet team? Is there anything else that goes into quintet gameplans? I got an in-house quintet tomorrow and I've never done an in-house, let alone a quintet!

A piano quintet I worked on last summer. Given a certain series of notes and a time limit of 5 minutes, I did my best to develop as much as possible into a coherent, lively piece. I usually compose for solo piano but am less used to strings, so any feedback is nice, as I enjoyed this instrument combination and may work with it more in the future.
Curious to see which one of them is the most popular here, feel free to add your reasons if you want but you don't have to
I'd add some of the minor female characters like Peach but I feel like she's going to be universally dead last (unless if there's someone who really hates one of the main five girls) so I think that wouldn't be necessary. Feel free to do that if you want though
Panic edit - just been booked for Jazz Cafe, London 30th Nov if anyone wants to see this live
Since Kid A is in the news again I may as well post this one final time*
Back in Jan 2020 four of my colleagues joined me in the studio and in one afternoon we recorded the entirety of Kid A, rewritten and with improvisation. As a lifelong Radiohead fan it was a great project and Iβm pleased with how it came out. Itβs on vinyl should anyone fancy that. I know some people in this sub have been very kind about this record. Thanks again. Weβve got a day in December booked to do In Rainbows, too :)
