A list of puns related to "Peter Aykroyd"
Wanting to read Hawksmoor, but it seems pretty difficult to get a physical copy in the States for any sort of reasonable price. Can anyone here point me in the right direction concerning a digital copy?

As some have been putting together, there was a large amount of footage deleted or reshot for GBA, including much more involvement with the original cast.
From people I know who worked on the film, there was a scene shot with Janine and Carrie Coon at the diner, where the beginnings of the original GBβs exposition would have begun after theyβd met at the farmhouse.
Janine did indeed take some βkeepsakesβ from Egonβs farm that she dispersed to the original team throughout the film, including the shocker box that she gifted Peter and Dana, of which they were using in a later scene when they receive the call back to action.
Whatβs interesting to me are a few gossip rumours from when the film was in production, including that Aykroydβs Ray Stantz character had gone a little loopy and was living in the upstairs section of the firehouseβ¦ this is interesting is because that appears to gel with his appearance at the climax, including his gibberish speech to Gozer (which would explain why Venkman muttered βbravoβ β heβs well aware that Ray went a little nuts years before) as well as somehow forgetting how to answer βare you a God?β correctly.
None of those moments make sense with the calm and very mentally-stable version of Aykroyd that we saw earlier in the phone-call scene, but also they couldnβt reshoot the climax, so they had no choice but to leave in two VERY different takes on Ray Stantz.
Aykroydβs exposition dump phonecall scene was almost certainly a late-stage reshoot to plug all the holes left after Reitman decided to cut all of the OGBs scenes. It seems like everything Ray Stantz explained would likely have been shown in the scenes that the original actors were in β and in doing this reshoot, it was decided to not have Aykroyd be as loopy as his original characterβs trajectory looked to be at the final climax of the film.
Iβm hopeful we get a longer cut of the film with the OGBs scenes reinstated. Janine as the throughline to the actors, dropping off mementos from Egon, was a great narrative device, and now that we have footage showing Janine onset for other scenes, including the farmhouse showdown at the end of the film, it really makes me hope we can see a more in-depth film with our favorite characters featured more prominently.
Hey look, itβs the Tallahassee Event List! Vaccinations are up and numbers are down, but still: be safe. Wear a mask indoors. If youβre not vaccinated and donβt have an actual medical reason for not being vaccinated, go get vaccinated or boosted, dumbass.
Events are listed by the day. Events that happen every week appear first, one time stuff after that. If you have anything youβd like people to know about, comment here or message me and Iβll add it in. If youβd like further info about any of the events, look it up! I usually donβt have any extra to add.
I donβt normally list specials and sales but one exception is the holiday season. Iβll include sales events and so on run by local businesses because I know some folks just love that shit and canβt get enough. Ho ho ho, you crazy kids.

I've been a fan of RLM for years, and I'm beginning to see something unfolding here. It seems to me that because Ghostbusters was such a prolific film to Mike and Rich, it basically permeated into their lives and became their reality. I'll detail my pieces of evidence.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
