A list of puns related to "Notes from the Midnight Driver"
I just wonder if he knows how famous he is for that clip and if heβs faced any repercussions. Itβs pretty funny that the scene was completely improvised.
You can find the entire Podcast episode here. I've only included some of the topics discussed, but there's absolutely a lot more that was left out, so I'd highly encourage you to check it out.
There wasnβt necessarily one moment that made him decide to go to AEW, though like many he was very moved by the Brodie Lee Tribute show. Feels like AEW went above and beyond, especially for his son.
He watches a lot of Zack Sabre, Jr. βHeβs my favorite wrestler to watchβ because ZSJβs style of wrestling is blowing away anything that Bryan had been doing before coming to WWE. He thought βIβd love to be able to do more stuff like thatβ and WWE basically just wants βYes-Guy Daniel Bryanβ because thatβs marketable. As someone who βyearns for freedomβ, felt trapped in certain ways. His favorite period in WWE was being The Planetβs Champion where he wasnβt doing the Yes chant at all.
He ended up reaching out to people that he normally doesnβt talk to and essentially asked βWhere can I best be of service?β to professional wrestling. Feels itβs important to give back both in his personal and professional life.
WWE wouldβve allowed him to do some shows in New Japan but didn't know to what level. Given the pandemic, the need to go over to Japan or Mexico isnβt urgent for him.
Felt like coming back from retirement opened him up more to the idea of going elsewhere because heβs always loved being an independent wrestler. A big factor in originally signing with WWE was not being sure whether his health could sustain wrestling as an independent for much longer. βI didnβt look at it as cashing outβ¦ but it was totally cashing out.β
When he first came to WWE, William Regal gave him advice of not to be hung up on not getting a push or being frustrated with creative. βThat check you get each month is for all the work it took you to get to WWE. This is where you set yourself up for the future, and any good matches or stories you have are just the cherry on top.β Now being a husband and father, it resonates with him more.
Some of his favorite and most fun matches of his career are with WWE. Points to working with Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania, facing Brock and live events against Randy Orton.
Never really looks back at anything he does. βItβs just not in my natureβ to admire his work.
Felt his WrestleMania 37 experience βwas weirdβ and didnβt feel like he shouldβve been in that match, because Edge vs Roman on it
My wife is from the Midwest and god it can be scary when she hits a hill.
There was a lot of confusion after the race in Mexico regarding cutting the chicane and it is has been made very clear in the drivers briefing notes for this event
Section 7.3 relates to leaving the track at the T3/4 chicane and states:
> "During Free Practice, if a car uses the escape road at the T3/4 chicane, he must come to a stop prior to re-entering the circuit."
> "During the Race, any car which uses the escape road must come to a complete stop or it will receive a Ten second Stop and Go time penalty."
> "Any car which uses the escape road is not permitted to gain time or positions due to the use of this βshort-cutβ, even after coming to a complete stop. Multiple violations may result in further penalties."
> "During the Qualifying Sessions any car which uses the escape road will have this lap deleted."
I attended the Occupy Atlanta General Assembly on Friday night, which turned eventually into the beginning of the Occupation. If you drive by Woodruff Park, you'll see the Occupation in progress. I'll admit I turned something of a cynical eye to the proceedings; if you were there, please add to or dispute my observations.
While I'm sympathetic to the cause, I can't say I'm directly involved - but I have been observing and taking notes.
First: there have been some videos circulating of what has been portrayed as a lot of people repeating everything the speaker says like a crowd of zombies. That's called "the People's Mic" - essentially, everyone within hearing range of the speaker repeats what they said as loud as they can, and everyone who can hear them repeats as well. This allows whoever the current speaker is to be heard - albeit slowly - by everyone in attendance, without the use of a sound system. Even megaphones, we quickly found out, were not adequate to be well-heard.
On the one hand, the People's Mic is a pretty clever system for grassroots protests. It is eminently mobile - a massive, fully audible event can be held virtually anywhere without a great deal of preparation. On the other hand, the People's Mic is easily abused - one fellow in particular, every time he got up to speak, used the People's Mic to sloganeer. He'd finish an informational statement, then shout a slogan - and watch as it was automatically echoed.
The People's Mic may also have a role in achieving consensus more quickly - a point that is particularly relevant. The Occupy events do not work by a majority-rule system; instead, a consensus must be achieved. This means that if a single person out of ten thousand says that the proposed action is absolutely unacceptable and that they would leave the group over it, the proposed action will not be taken.
This seems like an easy way for one or two people to force inaction, doesn't it?
In practice, though, the consensus process worked remarkably quickly. I went from thinking longingly of Robert's Rules of Order to being enamored with the consensus process in the space of a few proposals. For the most part, proposals were NOT blocked - or, when they were, those blocking them soon accepted a revised proposal. In a group of hundreds, decisions were reached relatively quickly.
However, here we hit one of the first snags in the process - which is now haunting Occupy ATL's public image as one of the easiest elements for the media t

I've posted about this mater on FedEx, but with what's happened I wanted to see if anyone here had any advice. Long post, probably some irrelevant information, TLDR at the bottom.
On August 15th, I preordered two Galaxy Note 9s as part of the BOGO deal Verizon is running. One of them was opening a new line and the other was an early upgrade for my iPhone 8. They shipped out August 20th, and on August 23rd they were marked out for delivery in my city. I had the day off, and was pretty excited to be getting my new phone, so I stayed in all day to make sure I would be there to sign for the package.
At 2:45 the phones were marked as delivered and signed for by a name I don't recognize. I was confused, because nobody with that name lived in my apartment building and I hadn't seen a FedEx driver or had anyone knock on my door. Of course, the first thing I did was call FedEx, and was told the driver was still out making deliveries but that they'd contact them to see what happened and call me back. A couple hours later, I'm told the driver has stated he left the package in a main entryway in the building.
Now, prior to this point, we'd (we referring to me and my boyfriend) already talked to the only other tenant in the building, our neighbors on both sides of the apartment building and the building across the street and nobody we talked to saw a FedEx vehicle or signed for a package. I told the woman I was speaking with on the phone this, and she said she'd follow up again and either have the driver explain the situation in further detail or stop by and talk to us.
After waiting around another hour or so, I received a call again. The story I was told changed: according to the FedEx driver, a man between his mid twenties and early thirties with a "light beard, pants and a long sleeve shirt driving an SUV" approached the driver while he was making other deliveries and claimed the I had sent him to pick up the package, and because he knew the name and address the driver released the package.
After being told by FedEx that they had nothing further to offer me and that I should call Verizon or the police, I proceeded to do both. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with a Verizon rep, reporting the phones as stolen, explaining the situation and was told an investigation would be started and that I should hear something back by Wednesday, and if not to call them.
After getting off the phone, I called the police and an officer came out to take my statement. I

I'm staying with my parents in Brighton, but Im planning to go to some of the big music festivals you guys have on during the summer, namely Wireless & Lovebox.
I'm wondering if anyone knows about whether public transport runs that late at night between London & Brighton, and if possible what would be the best route to take, as I'd prefer to not have to spend extra money on a hotel room when already paying for a hotel in Brighton.
The two parks are Victoria Park & Finsbury Park, both of which will be attended on a Saturday. What are the nearest stations that would be able to take me to Brighton (Preston Park)? I'm trying to use the National Rail website, however i'm unsure if the stations I'm selecting run this late at night, or if whether they make the right connections. Does the train to Brighton even run this late?
Also for these festivals, would it be possible to use my provisional Australian drivers license? (P1/red P's). It had my date of birth and a picture of my on the ID, or will I need to get a Proof of age card? If so which card should I apply for? The PASS website has 10 different cards to apply for, which one do I need for general ID (ie at a pub, bar or festival). EDIT: When applying for these kinds of cards, do I need to physically go into a store and register for one, if so what kind of ID do I need to bring?
There was a pretty long program covering various topics as voted on by Japanese viewers, including favorite Riders, production, and songs. It was like 2 hours long so I'm just giving the major talking points I thought were interesting:
The top 5 Rider productions as voted on by Japanese viewers are:
Build
Kuuga
OOO
W
Den-O
When talking about Den-O, a lot of voters say it's the show that helped them grow as people when they were younger. Because of its wide reach, it allowed kids to spend more time with their parents watching the show and helped shy viewers come out of their shells a bit as they saw Ryotaro grow.
A mom wrote in that she likes Revi and Vice because they're primarily pink Riders and she thinks that sends the message it's okay for boys to wear pink or whatever color they want.
Top 5 Rider songs:
Climax Jump
PARTY - Universe Festival -
Anything Goes!
Be the One
EXCITE
Den-O's popularity is highest with 20-29 year olds, with 61% of that being women
