Never ever sign the papers when you get fired. Never.
Iβd love for people to respond on why you shouldnβt sign and maybe have a story behind it. This is how we can educate ourselves.
To give one example, some will include β a general release clauseβ You release your rights to sue them.
Edit: Even being offered a severance package, talk to a lawyer before you sign anything! A lawyer will help you negotiate for more.

This sub 2 months ago: You will never see Bitcoin below $50k ever again
Two months ago when Bitcoin hit its all time high of $69k, pretty much all you would hear from people around here was that the days of Bitcoin below $50k was a thing of the past--with members posting all these astrological TA charts proclaiming how the 'maximum pain' from here on forward was around the $55k mark.
But what caught my attention more than anything was all the people whining and complaining how they 'wished' they had bought in when BTC was in the low 40s and how they had missed that glorious opportunity.
Well fellas... its time to put up or STFU cause that time is today. But judging by things around here I am guessing the modus operandi is going to be more and more whining, this time about how they 'wished' they had sold. And then a couple of weeks or months from now when the market recovers (as it always does) we'll have the same people whining about how they missed that golden opportunity of buying low yet again.. no wonder we have that prophetic joke about buying high and selling low.
I think its about time to disrupt that problematic pattern of behavior.

What's the best bite of food you've ever had, and probably will never have again.
There was this sandwich place in my hometown that closed a couple of years ago. Out here we don't call them sandwiches, we call them grinders.
This place served a tuna grinder, that I would walk 500 miles to eat. I don't order tuna, or make it at home. It was this place alone that made it so delicious that I craved it. I was a regular...at least 3 times a week. Even when I moved cross country in my 20s, I would keep in contact with the owner and have her ship me tuna grinders overnight. Excessive, and sometimes expensive, but worth it.
She sold the place and the new owner ran the place into the ground. It closed less than a year after they took over.
I have tried to recreate the flavors myself, but have only failed.
I don't think I'll ever have it again.
UPDATE: I put in a little effort, and tried to see if I could get in contact with the original owner of the shop. I reached out to the new owner, to see if he could help...he couldn't. I reached out to an old employee to see if they knew the secret...they didn't, but did confirm that there was a secret being kept. I think it's still safe to say I'll never have this sandwich again.

Is anyone else ever genuinely upset that they'll never be an adventuter?
I know it's silly, but I honestly dream of being a roaming, monster slaying, protector of the weak, adventurer. I'd take fantasy, sci-fi, or modernist setting, I don't care. I just want to be an adventuter, and am genuinely sad sometimes I don't live in a world where that's a thing.

Which major ESO content you never ever want to do?
ESO has now a plenty of content. Dozens of dungeons, vast open-world with many many quests, lots of challenging trials and arenas. But to be realistic, I think the very most players won't do everything that ESO has to offer in their life.
Apart from having no unlimited free time, some things might be too boring or too difficult. Some stuff might not be worth of doing because of the reward.
Which content you would never like to complete?
It could be that someone wants to do the vSS Godslayer, but hates the BRP arena (I heard that there are lots of crowd control there)...

Never grinding a single 2K ever again.
After playing 2K since 2K16 Iβve never cared or hit legend before. Itβs only due to covid restrictions in the U.K. that I actually had a lot of spare time to waste.
I decided for the first time to actually grind a 2K and I get a PARROTβ¦ that you canβt even use in ante up.
Never and I repeat never grind a video game that has a end reward that you donβt know about. Every popular game lets you know that once you reach a certain point this is your βrewardβ. Our reward was hidden for 4 and a half months. Really put it into perspective that we didnβt know what we was grinding for, for 4 1/2 MONTHS.
Never again.

Listen very closely β¦ never, ever be friends with an ex.
Did I fall into the friend trap with my ex recently? Yes.
Am I more emotionally and mentally disturbed than before I fell into the friend trap with my ex? Yes.
Your ex doesnβt actually want to be friends with you. They want to stroke their ego, and live in the appealing comfort of knowing you are still there. They want to have you when they want you, and ignore you when they donβt. They want to use you and disrespect you and add you to their list of other unfortunate souls who are trapped in the βfriendβ world. And if one day they get lonely and want to make you think they still care just so youβll give them the attention they are craving? Yep theyβll do that.
But really, there is always an ulterior motive and itβs never good. Do they enjoy talking to you? Probably. Did they miss having you there? Probably. But you know why they missed that? Because you are a fing incredible bdss human. So why would you let them use you like that? All youβre doing is making them feel better about themselves because this incredible bdss human will still talk to them even though they treated you like sht!!!!!!!
