A list of puns related to "Never Ending Math Equation"
Iβve always wondered this. Does anybody have any idea? I know lots of random string, wind and other instruments are heavily featured throughout their discography, but the turntable scratching is limited to a couple songs that are from the same time period. Is there a story behind this?
Cycle summary:
We won Harima! It's a greatly profitable system, and we're happy to welcome that area into the Wintersphere. Our other expansions served as worthy distractions. Mahon won Urarina but lost his other expansions. Hudson, Patreus, and Torval all failed as well. We prepped Lundji for expansion; other powers have some as well but things seems to be slowing down a touch. It was lovely to see some reddit readers around Rhea and Harima this cycle; I know not everybody wants to join us on Discord (though we'd love to have you), so you all motivate me to keep posting these objectives every week. I apologize for getting this post out a day late but I had a bad case of IRL yesterday.
In other news:
You can now add an experimental effect to your CG FSDs! It took FDev some time to come around to the right decision but it's nice that they kept things consistent with the previous CG FSD. This week's community goals don't seem particularly exciting.
Election results:
As I mentioned last week, we held our quarterly elections. The nominees are listed below, and winners are marked with an asterisk. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who participated; despite the corporate bias handed to us by FDev in game we believe that healthy democracy is the key to a successful player group.

I apologize for the lack of propaganda campaign posters this time around; my limited FLC time this week was devoted to moving merits.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I realize weβre all hyped about this really solid new album, but as a result I can only listen to Modest Mouse right now. I played this song today and was shocked that Iβd only now come to appreciate it. The vocal flow, guitar riff and fucking drum outro go so hard
The universe works on a math equation that never even ever really even....
Is in the end?
Has any end?
Ends in the end?
I've seen all kinds of translations but to me, it sounds like he's saying, ** IS** in the end, which makes less sense to me than the other translations, but I dunno.
What do y'all think?
Has anyone come across good tabs or a video lesson on how to play this on guitar?
Online the best I'm finding is:
" Well, oh my God and oh my cat
I told my Dad what I need
Well, I know what I have and want
But I don't know what I need
Well, he said, he said, he said, he said
"Where we're going I'm dead"
I'm sure there is another line or he is repeating a line and I'm just not hearing it right (if you work in a shop earplugs are a good idea :p ) and was wondering if you folks can make it out or have any info that might help :)
Note: We're currently covering Building Nothing Out of Something, a compilation album of early Modest Mouse material.

Lyrics:
I'm the same as I was when I was 6 years old
And oh my God I feel so damn old
I don't really feel anything
On a plane, I can see the tiny lights below
And oh my God, they look so alone
Do they really feel anything?
Oh my God, I've gotta gotta gotta gotta move on
Where do you move when what you're moving from
Is yourself?
The universe works on a math equation
that never even ever really even ends in the end
Infinity spirals out creation
We're on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying
We ain't sure where you stand
You ain't machines and you ain't land
And the plants and the animals, they are linked
And the plants and the animals eat each other
Oh my God and oh my cat
I told my Dad what I need
Well I know what I have and want
But I don't know what I need
Well, he said he said he said he said
"Where we're going I'm dead."
and it made my entire day. And I had no one else to tell, so I am telling you guys.
My friend asked me how to solve something I have never seen before. I am guessing it is just looking for a pattern and the answer would be 7?
It goes like this:
It's probably my favorite song by MM, and I can't quite figure out what he yells at the end.
I'm the same as I was when I was 6 years old and oh my God I feel so damn old.
I don't really feel anything.
On a plane, I can see the tiny lights below.
And oh my God, they look so alone.
Do they really feel anything?
Oh my God, I've gotta gotta gotta gotta move on.
Where do you move when what you're moving from is yourself?

We're on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying,

Well I know what I have and want.
But I don't know what I need.
Well, he said he said he said he said,
Where we're going I'm dead.
EDIT: If anyone feels like linking songs or leaving lyrics, that'd be cool. Just trying to distract myself. The above lyrics are modest mouse.
