First, a few things. Styling albums have overlap because some pieces of the suits go nicely with each other, especially Archer and Angel. I'll keep adding more stylings and SC entries until the event ends so you can check the post again if you're still unsure what to get by then. Silent Night Ode

Pros:

• You guessed it - quality angel wings that aren't behind a paywall! They're the main reason why she's my favourite suit from the event.

• Looong two-toned hair! I really love it and I don't think we have anything else like it in the game. It's also more versatile than I expected.

• The white, blue and gold colour scheme is quite easy to work with as we have a lot of suits with similar colours

• I find the dress gorgeous and easy to style for a big ballgown

I mean those 6 albums could be great enough to just mark top 6 of some decade of music, and we could call it a good era of music, let alone that these albums were made by same band in span of less than 4 years.

Not to mention they also made Yellow Submarine and Let it Be (most of it was recorded in '68 and released after Abbey Road) in that 4 year time.

It just stuns me how all these influential albums could've been made by one same group that was in great spotlight at that time, and all of them had different concept, different sound, different style and enough different production...

edit - my question will shortly be answered by the legendary u/Max_Rockatanski - thanks to him for answering, but to be clear, I'm talking about a pre-production version of the Fury Road Interceptor as linked below that appears in the Bluray special features.

Does anyone know the story behind the Interceptor with the weird orange logo on the door and the (also orange, oddly) emergency vehicle light bar on the roof? Seen here. It also has the mesh headlight covers that were apparently on the originally built (in South Africa) Fury Road from 2009 using Scott Smith kits (see here and here).

After reading many questions over and over again about the ability to drive to Dubai, I decided to take the risk last night. I assumed the worst that could happen is I get turned back.

I have a valid multiple entry e-visa for Saudi. I'm guessing people who have transit visas or multiple entry visas should all be ok.

Doha to KSA border: 1 hour, and at the border in KSA, they ask for your passport, visa, and PCR. Then you get stamped, go through customs, and buy vehicle insurance (SAR 138) that is valid for one week.

KSA to UAE border: 1 hour drive to the UAE border. At the UAE side, I had to go to immigration since I needed an on arrival visa. If you already have a visa, they send you straight through. After immigration and getting the visa, hopped back into the car, proceeded to the health checkpoint. They ask and verify your pcr, check your temperature, and then you proceed to customs. Then you buy car insurance (AED 225) for 14 days. Then you're on your way! The speed limit from the UAE border all the way to Abu dhabi is 160, so you can cover a good distance in short time.

My trip back to Doha will be on Sunday, but after all the questions here about whether or not this was possible, it worked out very well for me!

I noticed (on Grubhub) there are 3 new burger joints at the same address on Falls Rd. I thought it might be a new collective space like ‘R House’, so went to check it out. The location is just a car-lot containing an auto mechanic with a trailer out front making food. I found this really interesting. I looked into one of the places - ‘Umami Burger’, and it’s a national burger chain from the LA area. Does anyone have any information about this?

Edit: TIL Ghost Restaurants are a thing. The “menu’s” of all the “restaurants” can make every item on every menu with the same kitchen set-up, with similar orders for ingredients. I’m afraid for local restaurants that will need to compete with this new entity. The quality and options for dining out will definitely suffer from this concept. But I guess a few people will make a bunch of money. Fuck us and local culture right? SMH

I have only had a OW for 2 weeks...on the road I'm totally comfortable swooshing carves, I'm getting there riding switch, have had no falls and no nosedives (respect the pushback). However, on the trail is a totally different matter. Where I live there are roots, rocks, etc so the trails are not smooth in general. I am totally unbalanced on the trail and every rock and root throws me off the board. I can ride "sometimes" in the grass, but eventually eat it there too.

I've watched tons of videos and there are some of you that LIVE for trails and just shred! Can someone clue me in to what it takes to be stable and keep speed on trails? I feel like I have the other side of the OW coin in the dark right now, and while I'm enjoying the street-side a LOT, I'd love to be able to do both if possible. Thanx!

There were so many clues in the "Devil's Paw" book on Mabel's floor, namely that a gang was robbing graves, that I had to read the third one. Here is how it breaks down: In book #6 the Hardy Boys are investigating a gang of car thieves who trade cars for weapons. At the same time they are approached by a family trying to find a treasure that the family has been looking for for generations. Many of the victims of the car thieves and those pursuing them are gassed unconscious. The gang is made up of "foreigners" of undetermined origin that kidnap the treasure seeking family members as they also look for the treasure. The Hardy Boys, and their friend Chet, find the location of the stolen car base by hiding themselves in a car they bought to lure the thieves. Turns out the operations are happening close to town in a hidden cave and once processed the cars are shipped out by boat. The kidnapped family members are also found in the cave and once the criminals are rounded up, the boys find the treasure in a similar cave that sits below the tide line. The main theme here is hiding places right under the nose of those pursuing the criminals, which correlates to the hidden chamber in the Dimas apartment. I also think poison is clue as some of the weapons are canisters of poison gas. Sleuth on, Randos!

On May 18th 1935, two middle-aged couples from East St. Louis, Illinois, George and Laura Lorius, and their friends Albert and Tillie Heberer, loaded into George’s 1929 Nash sedan for a cross country road trip that was to end in California.

On May 21st, they arrived in Vaughn, New Mexico and got a room at the Vaughn Hotel. They sent several postcards back home to family and friends telling how they planned to visit “Boulder Dam,” (Hoover Dam) as well as several other places around New Mexico. The next morning the two couples sat down for breakfast at the hotel’s cafe before checking out and heading West along U.S. 60.

On May 26th, the Lorius’ car was discovered in the business district of Dallas, Texas, abandoned. It wasn’t until May 28th that the car was impounded by police. The keys were found in the ignition, the gas tank was full, and numerous post cards lay in the seat. However, the two couples along with their belongings, were missing. Gas receipts were found from St. Louis to Vaughn, then Socorro, with the last receipt dated May 23.

On June 5th, the families of the couples were notified of their disappearance. It was learned George, who was an executive for a coal and ice company, had taken 400 dollars in travelers checks with him. They too were missing. George’s secretary informed police the last contact she had had with them was when she had received several postcards from the couples that were sent from Vaughn on May 21st, and Albuquerque on May 22nd.

A search immediately began for the missing couples. It was learned that on the morning of May 23rd, the Lorius’ car had been involved in a minor traffic collision near Socorro. Witnesses, however, described the driver of the vehicle as a “young man with dark colored hair.” The unidentified man brought the vehicle to a small gas station and automotive repair shop. There, the vehicle had a tire changed, and the gas tank was filled. He paid using one of George’s travelers checks. Following the trail of stolen travelers checks, investigators discovered the young man had stayed the night in El Paso, Texas on the evening of the 23rd before heading to Dallas where the vehicle was found abandoned on the 26th.

On June 29th, a witness reported seeing a small fire in the desert near Albuquerque, New Mexico. Police arrived to find the smoldering remains of the missing couples luggage. Only days later, additional luggage belonging to Tillie was discovered near El Paso.

Originally I was planning on doing stylings of ALL of TR's minor suits as a "little" challenge but it was only a few days ago when I realized that it maybe wasn't such a great idea with exams going on lol. And that's how I ended up with no sleep but some interesting stylings of Rosy Wish ¯\(ツ)/¯

So to not cause any misunderstandings, I only did the stylings of Rosy Wish and its recolour's (the apple one with the red dress) but I added some pictures of the other minor suits with dst/fst as well (but NO outfits).
