###Welcome to the megapost for 2021 KBS, SBS, MBC Drama Awards (연기대상)!

Intro To Drama Awards

For those that may not be familiar with the broadcast station drama awards (연기대상), these are annual award shows held by each of the three free-to-air terrestrial broadcasting stations (KBS, SBS, MBC) to recognize the dramas that were broadcast on that station in the past year. This means that each of the award shows are held separately and each station only considers and awards dramas that were broadcast on that station. (Eg. KBS Drama Awards only considers and awards KBS dramas.)

Award categories in these awards have some core categories that have stayed consistent throughout the years (eg. Best Actor, Best Actress, etc.) but also have categories that may change year to year (eg. certain popularity awards).

The drama awards are the drama-focused version of the year-end awards, the broadcast stations also have their entertainment awards (연예대상) for their variety shows and their musical festivals (SBS 가요대전/KBS 가요대축제/MBC 가요대제전) for kpop.

The cable stations (tvN, JTBC, OCN, Channel A, TV Chosun, etc.) do not have these awards (at least none so far, maybe they will one day in the future).

Since all drama awards is over, what are your thoughts that who do you think deserve it, made you upset etc...

#KBS

• The fairest drama awards show of all. This is the 1st time that both Chun Hojin and Kim Youngchul are deserving to be co-daesangs compared to previous seasons.

• It made me upset first that Junho didn't win Best New Actor (and Kim Sunho also), but it made me happy that he won Best Excellence.

• Is this the most number of Couple Awards? Damn 6, the best part is that Namgoong Min and Junho won and it was cute that Junho kissed Min.

#MBC

• They really love Kim Sunho, he won both Rookie Award and Excellence. Honestly, I'm already satisfied that he won Best Rookie so winning Best Excellence is a bonus.

• Seohyun for Best Rookie? Are they kidding? Her acting in Good Thief, Bad Thief made me cringe.

• Almost all of the Rebel stars have received an award but how come that Yoon Kyunsang received nothing? What is this?

• No Best Couple award?

• It's more on Popularity Awards night. The biggest upset would be Suzy winning Top Excellence over Lee Youngae and Uhm Kijoon got Best Character?? Are they serious?

• No mention of Ji Changwook at all, I mean he wasn't nominated even Top Excellence. Gahhh.
