Really wanted a reef tank but not ready to commit to saltwater yet. So I tried to emulate one with freshwater. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out 4 months later. My little ram is just as vivid as a marine fish and loves darting in and out of the mosses.
Here in Scotland some of our browns migrate to sea. Little is known about why some do and some dont as genetically these fish are exactly the same. They feed hard in the sea and return to freshwater to spawn. This is an example of a saltwater caught scottish Sea Trout.
