It's so sad that these magnificent creatures are almost extinct in the wild. Hope the youth in Asia shun all traditional "MEDICINE" that uses parts from endangered animal species. Our future generations should not be robbed of such beautiful sights due to our greed and lack of initiative.

If we got past the point of using DNA in amber, a la Jurassic Park, would dinosaurs and other extinct animals from the by gone eras be able to survive with our atmosphere and food resources in the wild?

Probably not the right place to post this. I’m not a paleontologist at all and I remember reading that the methods used to resurrect dinosaurs aren’t actually possible but I was just curious if it happened by chance they could actually survive and live out a normal lifestyle.

I was told if I was an animal in the wild I would be extinct.

Edit//: Haha so obviously my English / train of thought failed there in the headline. These were from two different people:

a) that if I was a wild animal, I probably wouldn't survive. This after I failed something related to cooking. b) My friend was wondering how butterflies aren't extinct because they are so slow and have no defense or anything, they just flutter around. And that I'm actually just like them.

And these were both jokes from friends, no offense taken. But they were also people who know me very well and it made me think.

//

Also, when I was around 14, I was told by my teacher that I was the youngest person suffering from dementia he has ever met.

I struggle going to bed. I struggle getting out of the house if I don't have someplace I need to be. If I do have, I struggle being there in time. I struggle taking a shower. I stress about such a simple thing as eating. Going to the gym stresses me because I've forgotten the towel, padlock or my shoes so many times do I had to turn back. I really struggle finishing a task before starting a new one, especially if it's unpleasant.

I think it's time to consult a professional about possible adhd. Thing is, everyone keeps telling me I'm totally not adhd.

Predictions/Wish list for a potential extinct animals DLC.

This list will not include any dinosaurs, as I don’t think Frontier wants Dino’s in Planet Zoo. This list will only include animals that were driven to extinction by humans (besides one that I included to help sell the DLC). I also split this into 2 simply categories; Carnivores and Herbivores. Which both have 6 animals for a total of 12 in this hypothetical DLC.

##Herbivores

Woolly Mammoth

Dodo bird

Passenger Pigeon

Great Auk

Ground Sloth

Aurochs

##Carnivores

Smilodon

Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger)

Caspian Tiger

Barbary Lion

Atlas Bear

Caribbean Monk Seal

I think these animals would fit in nicely in Planet Zoo, and would help educate people (which is part of what Frontier wants to do).
