As mentioned in the title, I would like to ask for suggestions for comedy anime driven by "bad" personalities of characters (think Konosuba's Kazuma and Aqua or the cast from Asobi Asobase or Binbougami ga!).

Would be nice if they're available in Animelon as well.

i have no clue what to pick 2nd, dont recommend me bakemonogatari because i wanna save it for last, because i know its gonna be like eating a cake. so pick whatever light novel, as long as its not a too overpowered character who can defeat everyone with one punch or spell. they gotta have a challenge, so its not too easy. good luck!

I find it fascinating that these characters are so closely inspired by each other. Is Haruhi the original or was there one before her? Also how many different character were inspired by these 3?

Do you think the girls are pretty realistically written, or is their personality fanservice?

As a guy, I could see a lot of girls in konosuba exist in real life. My sister reminds me a lot of Aqua

I originally started this list for r/Fantasy bingo (see here for my thread in r/Fantasy), which asks for a speculative fiction book "featuring a trans or nonbinary character that isn't an alien or a robot", but if there’s enough demand I’m thinking of expanding to other genres.

I’ve widely grouped the gender(s) of the trans character(s) into male/masc, female/femme, and nonbinary to help anyone looking for specific rep. I would’ve liked to be more specific in listing genders, but it was often really hard to tell for books I hadn’t read, and for secondary world fantasy or far-future sci fi where the gender options available in the setting don't match up with what we’ve got now. “Unknown” just means I wasn’t able to figure out what gender(s) are represented (it’s so frustrating when reviews just say “there’s a trans character” without specifying, argh!), so if you’ve read any of my unknowns, please help me out here. Disclaimer, I have NOT read all of these, so categorizations may be inaccurate. Please let me know if you notice that this is the case, or if there are any books I should add! I’ve tried to include only books with respectful, good faith representation, so if you see any books you know to be transphobic or otherwise problematic, please let me know that as well! I'm also happy to discuss books/fantasy/trans rep in general :)

Books are sourced from the r/Fantasy bingo threads, the queersff database, readsrainbow, various Goodreads lists, various threads in r/ftm and other subreddits, and various Google searches.

One of the biggest appeals of this game has been the character designs. They perfectly convey what each character's archetype is and what combat style they're proficient at.

1. Kunoichi, like everything about her outfit feels pleasant to look at. Her long scarf, mix of colors, hairstyle blend well with her flashy yet practical ninja gear.

Megumin would only have one move "Explosive Breathing :" *reaches for what looks like a sword handle "Industrial revolution" *throws a WW1 stick grenade "EXPLOSION"

Instead of a sword made with that special metal Darkness is just clad in armour made of it. Since she can't attack for shit, the battle would probably be her grappling onto a demon. "Armoured Breathing : Iron wall" And she just holds on to the demon and take hits until the sun rises

Aqua would literally be a flashier and more useless version of Water Breathing "Water Goddess Breathing : Water Wheel" *Image of a galaxy appears but her sword gets blocked like god blow on the frog "KAZUMA KAZUMAA"

Since I originally imagined this is a paneled manga Kazuma's one is in the perspective of the demon

"NEET breathing : Withdraw from society" and Kazuma just fades away, and the demon gets flashbacks of the typical Tokyo street crossings that fade into a dark NEET room "Steal." the visions fade away and the demon sees a silhouette, while trying to attack it he realizes he can't move and the silhouette is his beheaded body as it turns to ash the camera zooms out and you see Kazuma holding onto the demon's head with the Σ:I) face.
