A list of puns related to "Leica L Mount"
Recently received the Lumix S5 and would like to get an adapter to be able to use some of my manual focust M mount (Voigtlander 50mm 1.2 and other) lenses to this new S5. After googling, there is a a wide range of adapters starting at $30 and going up to several hundred $$. Since this is going to be for manual lenses and not metadata or any electronics is being passed to the camera, fit and finish are important... though so is cost.
Does anyone have any experience yet getting M mount lenses over to S1 or S1H?
Thanks!
I'm not very familiar with the Leica ecosystem, apologies if this is a dumb question.
The lens is brand new. It just does not come with the box.
Price: $500 plus shipping and fees
Who knew one of the most technologically advanced Leica M mount cameras wasn't actually made by Leica. This camera has the BEST viewfinder for people with glasses (that's why I bought it). Included with the camera is a battery, extra battery (not pictured), manual, box, original body cap, and Nikon 0 diopter. The body is lightly worn mostly from the previous owner. Light scratches, mostly on the bottom plate, the viewfinder is yellowed. I don't know why this is however I will say it adds contrast and makes focusing easier (maybe it isn't an accident)? Please ask me any questions!

Up for sale is a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm F1.2 Aspherical II, originally purchased from KEH. no obvious marks at all on the lens barrel, focus & aperture ring are both smooth. There is one tiny speck of dust in the lens, I tried to get it in the photo but cannot. there is NO haze or fungus. Selling because I prefer the smaller size of the Nokton 35mm f1.4 instead.
$550 Paypal G&S + Shipping Included (Shipping to continental US only)
A quite clean copy of the V3 Leica Summicron lens.
In great condition - no fungus, haze, or scratches on the lens. Just a few cosmetic dinks.
Comes with a rear and lens cap.
Price: $1,000

I recently chanced across an Epson R-D1 and picked it up almost immediately. I actually had gone to the store to consider trading in my Q or my X-Pro 3 in order to pick up an M240, but as luck would have it someone had just dropped off the Epson, and so I leapt at the chance to buy it. It was cheap enough that I did not need to trade in any of my existing gear.
Now, I've been shooting with one of those soviet 50mm Elmar clones. I'm thinking I'd like to add another LTM/M lens, but one that would have no issues with rangefinder coupling and that would play well with my 28/35/50 framelines. I do have in mind the eventual goal of getting an M body, so if it can follow me when I eventually do manage that it would be even better.
That said, seeing as the R-D1 is rocking a 6MP CCD sensor, it really does not take the most spectacular lens to outresolve it. So I suppose critical sharpness is not a must for me.
I'm looking for a value pick, preferably with a distance scale. I'd rather apply the cost savings to my M-Body fund. Any recommendations?
When I looked around, I found a couple offers in local stores.
I also came across a 90mm Elmar-C but am not sure about that because of the frameline issue. There are a few Elmarits about for reasonable prices, but they're off the collapsible variety and I find the distance scale to be difficult to use.
My primary purpose would be for casual street and documentary work. I tend to use my X-Pro or my Q or even my R4 for more 'serious' things - this camera is just so much fun though and I'd like to maximize the experience.
Pristine, like new in box. Lovely kit, just been hit with GAS in a bad way. KEH LN.
$800 shipped US.
Includes box, caps, papers.

Summaron 35mm 2.8 LTM -- Photos
This is a very rare original LTM Screw Mount Summaron. Please don't confuse it with many of the later M-mount lenses that have their mounts removed to "look" like the original LTM version. This lens is from 1959 (the last years of the Leica IIIG and not many were made). One way to tell the original ones is that they only close focus to 1 meter and not .7meters like the later M-mount M2 version.
This lens was recently fully CLA'd [Cleaned, Lubed, and Adjusted) by Youxin Ye and has very good glass. The front and rear coatings and surfaces are very good with focus being extremely smooth and aperture with appropriate clicks. There is some very minor residual cleaning residue can be seen from the rear very near the edge, but this is purely cosmetic and outside the optical path. This is as good a shooting example that you can find.
This lens is great with an adapter to an Leica M body, or for use with a variety of adapters on other systems. Optically the 35mm F/2.8 Summaron is one of Leica's best all around lenses and being in good condition this rare lens will only continue to appreciate in value. Comes with front and rear caps.

Summaron 35mm 3.5 LTM -- Photos
This is probably one of the smallest and well built lenses Leica ever offered. It is built like a tank and will last forever. This is a post-war 1952 model with very clean front and rear elements. Some haze is to be expected (and is present) for a lens of this vintage, but it is still a great shooting lens.
This comes with a rare and original Leica "bubble" case with the Leica front cap. The focus and aperture are in good working order. At the middle apertures this is a lens that is very very sharp with a beautiful classic rendering. Everyone needs to shoot one of these at least once in their life!

Looking to buy an inexpensive (sub $200) LTM compatible lens for my Leica iiic. Just want to start using the new camera I got and not wait a month to get a lens from Russia.
Anyone sitting on a lens that fits the bill? Totally fine with Russian, Japanese or non Leica lenses as long as it fits with the original viewfinder(I donβt have an external viewfinder yet).
Thanks!!
Hey guys. I just bought an SL2-S and was curious to try out the Leica-provided Classic/Natural LUTs for L-log footage. Unfortunately, although I can use them to preview in-camera, Iβm not finding anywhere on Leicaβs website to download and use in my grading software. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
