Laurels (greyhounds) Puns

Hi everyone! I’m visiting my sister in NY on Sunday to Monday night and will be taking a greyhound bus from the Mount Laurel station to port authority. I was wondering if there is free parking there/for how long, there’s no info on their website about this. Thought maybe someone here would know about that station!! Thanks guys! ☺️

I will soon have a work in Mt. Laurel and will be living in center city, but cannot seem to find a cheaper solution than greyhound, which is $10 one way.

Rewatching Free Agents and my goodness. Jasmine never stood a chance. I don’t think anyone in the history of the show could match up physically with Laurel in Balls In, but especially not Jasmine who weighed 90 pounds soaking wet and was a bad competitor as is.

Laurel got each point in less than five seconds and threw Jasmine away in each defensive round except the one she let Jasmine score.

Bananas interviewed Laurel on his latest podcast. She seemed open to the idea of coming back. “If the timing is right…” She also talked about how she has a few months left until she’s officially a veterinarian. Between finishing vet school and getting a full time job seems like the best opportunity to return to the challenge. Once she’s a full-time vet I doubt she’ll have time to take off for The Challenge.

What do others think? Will we see Laurel return soon (e.g. in the next season or two)? If she does want to return after she finishes vet school in a few months how would that line up with casting? I believe they’re already filming season 38, so maybe she returns for season 39.

Laurel is one of the best competitors and personalities we’ve ever seen on the show. It would be great if we could get another season or two with her.

I’m a woman, if I had to pick a male partner I’d choose Wes. Besides Casey, he’s always had good partnerships with the women on his team and treat them like an actual partner. I thought about Jordan, but I would honestly break down with his yelling and “motivation.” Wes is good at puzzles, endurance, and looks stronger than he has in a long time. If Kyle was better at puzzles, I’d swap for him. For the women, I’d choose Tori. In my opinion, she’s currently the best well rounded woman and works well with partners. I can’t think of an area she particularly struggles in like Kaycee with puzzles and I think her endurance outdoes Kam. Tori only seems to get overwhelmed when she’s solo.

EDIT: I think everyone has some really valid answers! My thing is there’s no way I could be with someone who I had to relinquish complete control to, so I feel while I’d want to run a final with Johnny, a season partnership is a no-go. For girls, Cara does have a tendency to freak out over pressure in a group setting, and her swimming is still poor, so I wouldn’t feel as comfortable with her. Jenny’s a beast, but I feel like I haven’t seen her play enough to really know what kind of player she is, same with Turbo.

Without spoilers does it get better or at least is she in the show less?

She always makes the worst decisions.. and now that she opens her mouth when black canary's tech is used I literally cringe.. wtf were the writers thinking with this character??

I know this gets talked about a lot but I haven’t seen the FA final in so long so I’m currently watching it right now and I just love how laurel talks and acts to Zach when he’s dying on the mountain meanwhile you look at laurel and she looks like she could run up 3 more mountains if you asked her too. Her comparing Zach to Sam and how she’s trying to push him was soooo satisfying. And damn tbh nany seemed like a solid competitor in this final. Also free agents from start to finish might be my all time favorite season it was just so fun and competitive I loved it so much. I wonder why we haven’t had a second season?

My partner and I adopted our first greyhound, Pod, on Sunday. He is a 2 year old ex racing dog. Before his arrival we did lots of research and walked him a few times to get to know him Since he arrived home we have been denying access upstairs and trying to make him sleep by himself in the living room . However, when we go to bed he howls and whines for a long time before settling down. I have read lots of advice on this and 90% seems to say to let the dog in the bedroom. For a few reasons, we want him to sleep downstairs. Does anyone have any tips on how to achieve this successfully?

We are also finding it difficult to train him to do.. well anything. He's not very interested in treats, he doesn't know his name. All he wants to do is sleep and sleep. Should he be allowed a period of adjustment first? Or should we train him straight away?

Imo season 3 had some good plot developments, but I felt Laurel being the black canary is so cringe for the brand of the black canary. The black canary is strong and brave, while Laurel was selfish and a moron. Laurel fit better as the ADA as well as a sort of moral guidance for the team, and not good as a weak black canary who selfishly put her life on the line knowing it could kill her father and his relationship with the arrow on the line. The city never needed Laurel and the writers never should have killed Sara to begin with

Once again, Johnny is pulling those good guests and now pulling big Challenge names of the past and bringing them back to reminisce about their times. This one he had future Dr. Laurel Stuckey. And I will say Johnny being totally Johnny was always bringing it back to him, just like we always expect our King of Self-Absorption would do.

Now Laurel as cutthroat as she could be, I always loved her. She was vicious and gave zero fucks when it came to the game and she backed it up with just being one of the most dominant females in the series. Butttt this podcast showed Laurel in a light I’ve never really seen her in. She was goofy, light hearted, humble, and seemed to have her guard completely down, and I loved it.

Johnny said the Laurel we see on the show, is nothing like the real Laurel outside the show and she turns into a robot when she’s on cause she cuts her emotions completely off. But outside the show, he says she’s one of the most kind hearted people on the show. And I always thought that Laurel outside the show wasn’t as mean as she was portrayed.

Aside from Johnny talking about himself, him and Laurel talked about her challenge career. He touched upon how the Fresh Meats were similar to the RW/RR cast members cause they needed to audition to get on, and they needed to have something special about them. Laurel said what helps her excel in the challenge aside from being an athlete, she says she can thinking at the same time, which Johnny and her both agreed a lot of Challengers cannot do.

She said Cutthroat was her least favorite challenge she’s done. She didn’t really care for the team aspect and as we probably could all tell, Laurel does not like when people hold her back. Even though she came off a lot warmer and sweeter, she still had that Laurel bite to her. Johnny and Laurel talked a quick second about Theresa, and Laurel still doesn’t fuck with her, and Johnny let it be known, he didn’t really care for Theresa either.

We all know Laurel doesn’t fuck with Theresa and it stems from FM2, when Theresa and the other girls consistently shit on Laurel. Laurel was told by Kenny to just tune out everything and she did that by reading in her room. She brought up her anxiety she used to have being on the show, and being thrusted into the world of TV. She brought up how it just made her angry, to where I think some of the anger we saw in Laurel came from. But also Laurel is just competitive af and mixed with the Cha
