Any other ones the Justifier can't play?
I know there are issues using Guncon1 games like Point Blank and Time Crisis but what about Justifier games like Area 51? Do they work with the Justifier? Thanks!
It's been asked a few different times in different sub-reddits but there has never been a clear answer found (or at least none I can find) as to what a compatible replacement for the phototransistor in the Konami Justifier gun would be. Does anyone know of one with a part number? The one inside the gun itself is not marked. Thanks in Advance.

I just got a copy of Area 51 and I want to play it with a light gun. I've heard you have to use a Konami Justifier for the game. Is their any other less pricey light guns that work for Area 51?
I love original light gun games and CRTs. Unfortunately my Konami justifier for both my Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis are starting to age and die. My justifier for my SNES is completely dead at this point. I was able to swap photo sensor boards between my SNES and Genesis justifier and confirm that the photodiode or phototransistor is no longer working on my Genesis justifier.
I have no issues with soldering and replacing parts but I have no idea what photodiode or phototransistor the justifiers used. Unfortunately my Google-fu hasn't been able to find any information on this quest to find a replacement part.

If you're okay with that, then more power to you, but I'm putting a comment about this in the next survey, and unless you're alright with stones as a reward for spending 160 keys, I'd suggest doing the same.
Edit2: to make my point clear, it isn't the amount of stones added to the price that is the problem, it's Konami giving themselves an excuse to keep stones as rewards.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
