Okay, so maaaaaybe the title's a bit clickbaity, but he had to be talking about Arthur and Karen. I went to do the O'Driscoll robbery at the Valentine doctor's office and as I walk in, he greets me and after a few seconds says "the guy who got jumped in the hotel, apparently it was the girls pimp." Now I'm thinking, usually in this game whenever an npc at a general store or doctor or anywhere makes conversation with Arthur >!or John!<, it's usually hinting at rumours about the player.
In the mission where we go into town with Uncle and the camp girls, there's a man who assaults Karen who Arthur then proceeds to beat up in the hotel. If it's true, and word got around Valentine that Arthur, an alleged pimp, beat up a john, then I just find it hilarious. The dialogue in this game is unparalleled.
I know clipping on the horses is always something to consider with clothing items like dresses but Karen rides a horse all the way up to Valentine wearing her dress and Black Belle rides off on a horse at the end of her mission so we know at least these two dresses work with horses. I just hope this isn’t a clothing option that gets a couple items added and then forgotten (looking at you corsets).
Had a Karen approach me today asking where the Valentine’s Day clothes are for her child’s size. I walked her to them and she’s says “That’s it’s??” I said “yes ma’am this is everything I have left.” She WENT OFF! “How dare you not have my child’s size, Valentine’s Day is next week. Where am I supposed to get little Timmys outfit for school?” I wanted to be like “Dude, we’ve had Valentine’s Day merch since before Christmas, maybe next year you should plan ahead.” But I kind of like my job so I just apologized for the inconvenience and walked away. But seriously though what is it about the little holidays that make people go insane? Like heaven forbid Timmy doesn’t wear a shirt with a heart on it for Valentine’s Day.

So since it’s near Valentines Day I thought I’d share a story
It’s no secret to anyone that I’m a bit overweight but I’m trying to slim down as a new year's resolution so Easter is going to be torture
Anyway My girlfriend loves chocolates and she LOVES tobelerone so for Valentine’s Day I was going to make her a chocolate cake With tobelerone I was gonna melt some and put it on her toast and I was gonna grate some and make it into a hotchocolate with whipped cream some more chocolate sprinkled on top and a piece of tobelerone sticking out of the whipped cream
So naturally I was going to need ALOT of chocolate I went to the store and bought as much as my minimum wage at Walmart would get me.
(I am working to be a chef in Uni)
Anyway I was stocking up my moms car because she let me borrow it as mine was being used by my sister for her bakery deliveries My family is big on cooking if you haven’t noticed
So I'm basically just piling all the Toblerone into the car and this woman comes by with her kid- Classic Karen. (Ck) and goes
CK- Don’t ya think that’s a bit much? We can all tell you need to cut back on it. Just go into the store put the chocolates back- Do us all a favour and go to the gym every once in a while
Me- Haha no. These are for my girlfriend she really likes chocolate and I'm making her a cake.
CK- Who do think your kidding? Nobody in their right mind would go out with you!
I lost it at that point- I know I'm obese but I've done nothing wrong and she just called me out for it for no reason
Me- All right I'm really not very tolerant with people especially if they call me out for my weight- So why don't you take your kid and fuck off?
She rolled her eyes and said this
CK- All right- fine.
She dragged her kid and headed to her car I thought that was the end of it but NOPE she came back with a security guard saying I had offended her religion or some shit like that I explained what actually happened and even let the guy check my mom's dashcam it didn’t see us cos I was at the boot of course but it did hear every single word- CK was given a warning and a temporary ban from the store so Thanks Karma👍

Let’s set the scene, it’s Valentine’s Day at my parent’s restaurant(I work there), the restaurant is almost full, there are 5 takeout orders I need to put in the machine, 5 people are waiting for their orders, the host is taking an order on the phone and so I am, and then ANOTHER phone rings. I put the guy on hold and pick up the phone.
Let’s call this woman Karen just she looks and acts like one(short with short dirty blonde hair & skinny nose). She asks to takeout and asks how long it’d take, I say an hour because the kitchen and sushi bar are filled with orders. The rest of our convo went something like this:
Karen: “that’s too long!!! I only want kitchen food!!
Me: “oh ok well then it won’t take as long. What’d you want?”
K: Vegetable tempura
Me: dinner or appetizer?
K: huh??
Me: explains the difference
K: oh then I only want the appetizer
K: uhh what’s in it??
Me: isnt 100% sure so I ask my dad and he’s busy so says “a little bit of everything
Me: it has a little bit of everything. But it has sweet potatoes and other things but we can take out anything you don’t like
K: oh! Well I don’t like...... cauliflower... BroccOLIII.... sweET POtato..... oh and CORN!
Me: ... ok great. That’ll be ready in 15 minutes
K: what??? No. I’m 5 minutes away in the car. It needs to be ready by then.
Me: ... saying this very stiffly and annoyed o k. I will check for you asks my dad and he says fine
Me: again saying it stiffly and annoyed o k it will be ready in 5 minutes
Karen ends this convo by asking how much it is(as if she hasn’t asked me ENOUGH QUESTIONS). Then asks me if I’m my mom’s daughter and how much I’ve grown and what happened to that little girl. Let me remind, while this is happening, there are people waiting for their order, another call waiting, and there are now like 6 orders I need to put into the machine.
Funny thing is, she didn’t show up for another 15 minutes.
TLDR: Karen wastes my time during rush hour by asking 100 questions about an appetizer that she wants for takeout and then wants it to be ready in 5 minutes when the wait time is 1 hour
