btw it's literally raw footage from the stream so sry for quality, lmao.
Background 6th Powerlifting competition~
Meet Prep After my last meet I finally bit the bullet and decided I needed a coach. Long story short I ended up working under Joey Flexx and we worked together for about 4 months leading up to this meet.
Meet Day Did a decent water cut to make weight, nothing too out of the ordinary. Got to warm up with LS Mclain the entire meet and we quickly became buds... also got to watch David Ricks and Ashton Rouska warm up right next to me, looking back it's completely surreal but at the time we were just all just having fun and doing our thing. Got to watch a bit' of the hype god Layne, Chance, Sean, and Woolson warm up, I was surrounded by the guys I look up to, lol so it was great. Btw I got to watch Kimberly Walford warm-up and go out, she is absolutely incredible.
The whole meet itself was the most fun I had ever had before. At the end of the day we were all smiles and hugging the hell out of each other, it was quite the experience and something I'll remember the rest of my life.
Coming into the meet I just wanted to go 9/9 so we ended up sand-bagging a little, lol. It would have been impossible to do proper attempt selection without the guidance of Joey throughout the entire event.
Squats 1st - 556 lb / 252.5 kg - Tested the waters since the judges were being strict. Fucked my rack position so I had to take a whole hand width in than I normally do, made the weight move slower than I wanted + I almost timed out, lol.
2nd - 567 lb / 257.5 kg - Fixed the rack width, felt light, a lot faster.
3rd - 584 lb / 265 kg - Was planning on opening with something like this but wanted to play safe. I had done heavier squats multiple times in training but just wanted to go 9/9.
Bench Press 1st - 429.9 lb / 195 - My previous PR lol, got a nine year press command but it was ez
2nd - 451 lb / 205 kg - Felt light, slight misgroove at the bottom made it go a little off. ez still
3rd - 463 lb / 210 kg - Still felt light, we wanted to do more but again I wanted to go 9/9. Came up relatively fine, lmao.
Deadlift 1st - 633 lb / 287.5 kg - Flew up, ezpz thanks to baby powdering the fook out of my quads.
2nd - 655 lb / 297.5 - Joey was just trying to make sure I wouldn't get called for ramping cuz' it's happened at heavier weights

A rematch from two weeks ago, or I guess a week and half due to a Covid-19 outbreak at the Washington Football Team facility. In the first matchup, the Eagles were able to get the job done against a shorthanded Football Team who were missing key guys and had guys playing right after coming off the Covid list which affected their endurance. The Eagles are going to need to play better this week as the Football team should be at nearly full strength with this one. Washington has a stout offensive line when they are not fighting each other one the sidelines and throwing haymakers at each other. That unit is led by Jonathan Allen who has 8.5 sacks and a mean right hook. The will look to contain Hurts and the Eagles running attack which could be without its two top backs in Miles Sanders who broke his hand last week and Jordan Howard who suffered a stinger. If Washington can force Hurts to throw the ball it will be up to him to show his passing has improved to the point that he can carry the team with his arm. The Eagles defense should be able to stymie the Washington offense which ranks 20th in total yards and 24th in points scored. Should be a good test for the Eagles offense and a win could clinch a wildcard spot with a little bit of help from some other teams. Go Birds! |

... keep reading on reddit ➡With the recent news of Betty White passing, it got me thinking about wrestlers and wrestling-adjacent personalities we lost this past year. The following list has some notable names, but if anybody has anything they'd like to add, please mention them in the comments. We lost some great ones this year as well as a few lesser-knowns that definitely slipped under my radar.
This thread will be used to monitor every transaction the Yankees make over the course of the offseason, from trades to free-agent signings and waiver claims. If you only check the subreddit occasionally, this can be your guide for the offseason. If you see any transactions missing from the list, feel free to comment below and I'll add it. (I'm only monitoring moves affecting the major-league 40-man roster and coaching staff, not the minor-leagues.)

Here is a roster I came up with once after reading about certain fanfics where Damian Wayne aka Robin V leads his own team of Titans: -Robin (Damian) -Superboy (Jonathan Samuel “Jon” Kent) -Nobody (Maya Ducard) -Beacon (Kathy Branden) -Green Lantern (Tai Pham) -Kid Flash (Iris “Irey” West II) -The Turtle (Jai West) -Abuse (Colin Wilkes) -Cheshire Cat (Lian “Shoes” Harper) -Aqualass (Andrina “Andy” Curry) -Suren Darga
(FYI: I know I previously asked if anyone knows where I could find a fanfiction where the roster for a mock team of Titans where Damian leads that team, but I honestly never meant to ask that. I make this statement because I know that posting the previous post was impulsive of me and I was able to find several of them.)
•For Jai and Irey West, these two individuals would have super-speed as opposed to one have super-speed and the other increasing their muscle mass.
•For Lian, she would wear her current Cheshire Cat uniform, but would be a skilled archer similar to her father, Roy Harper aka Arsenal.
•I chose Tai Pham as opposed to Milagro Reyes because after reading older Blue Bettle comics, I cannot see her becoming a member of the Green Lantern Corps for some reason I’m unsure why.
•The next time I update this inspired roster, I’m still unsure if I should add Batgirl (Nell Little), Nightstar (Mar’i Grayson), and/or Sin Lance to it.
•If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
This is part one of this list. This list is based off of accomplishments in the NBA (or ABA), not college or international leagues. Please let me know of any mistakes or if I missed something.

... keep reading on reddit ➡Using tankathon for draft order. Lots of weird eligibility designations in this class.
1 Lions: Kayvon Thibodeaux OLB JR Oregon
I'm not going to be a contrarian here. I wouldn't be surprised if Dan Campbell and his staff are all fired after that debacle against the Bears - like Steve Wilks in Arizona - but I'm going to pick as if they'll be retained another season. The lack of an edge rush has been apparent all season and Thibodeaux (6'5 258) would be a plug and play impact starter. Thibodeaux has a lot of similarities to Myles Garrett coming out of Texas A&M, though he's not quite as heavy.
2 Texans: Aidan Hutchinson DE SR Michigan
Lovie Smith has the Texans defense playing surprisingly well this season. Jon Greenard has developed into a solid starting end on one side, but they have a glaring hole at their other defensive end. Hutchinson (6'6 265) would make for a great pair of book-ends, he might remind McNair/Easterby of Watt, and though he doesn't play with the same power he has a similar motor and length.
3 Jaguars: Jordan Davis DT SR Georgia
Jordan Davis (6'6 340) would be a great fit for the Jaguars 3-4 under Joe Cullen. Davis is less polished than former top 5 pick Derrick Brown, but he is more of a freak athlete. A lot of detractors cite PFF grades and pass rush ability, but NFL coaches will see the athlete and believe they can coach up his game. I think Davis has a lot of room to grow, and his background as a basketball player who started playing football relatively late in his high school support that. He plays with fantastic effort and hustle which further supports his developmental upside.
4 Jets: Derek Stingley Jr CB JR LSU
Kyle Hamilton may be more of the freak athlete, but cornerback is a more premium position, and Stingley Jr. (6'1 195) has been playing at an extremely high level since his freshman year at LSU. It's hard to argue against his value as he should be a high level starter from the get go.
5 Evan Neal T JR Alabama
Hopefully, the Jets have found their RG going forward in Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. That said, Morgan Moses is only on a 1 year contract and Mekhi Becton has had issues staying healthy. Neal (6'7 357) has been overrated a little bit in my opinion. He's had some struggles with speed and maintaining leverage against shorter rushers. He's a better fit at right tackle than left, but that would be his fit here. The best thing the Jets can do to help Zach Wilson is get the run game going, and Neal is a

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Philadelphia Eagles (6-7) vs the Washington Football Team (6-7) |

Name a better duo than QB Controversy and the Eagles because it appears that the Eagles have another on their hands after Jalen Hurts was forced to sit out with a high ankle sprain in week 13 against the Jets and Gardner Minshew aka Uncle Rico came in and was much more effective throwing the football than Hurts has been this season. Of course Minshew did not add the ground threat that Hurts adds to the offense, but that didn’t stop the Eagles from running for 185 yards against the pedestrian Jets defense. And while it was against the Jets it’s hard not to say that Minshew does not add a dimension to the Eagles offense which they have been missing with Hurts under center. It was the first time the Eagles threw for over 200 yards since week 7 and first time they had over 400 yards total offense since week 4 where a majority of the yardage came in garbage time vs the Chiefs. Hurts will get the start Sunday as long as he is healthy vs Football Team who currently has 23 players on the Covid-19 list including multiple key starters. Lucky for the Football team the league has opted to move the game to Tuesday at 7pm per Albert Breer, despite the fact their outbreak was caused by an unvaccinated player, Montaez Sweat and the memo in the beginning of the year stating that outbreaks caused by unvaccinated players could be cause for forfeit by the team with the outbreak. If Hurts can’t go it will be Uncle Rico time again who will be looking to steal Hurts job faster than Fletcher Cox will steal your girlfriend. This is a must win game against a Football Team that will likely be down key starters, so regardless of who is under center the Eagles need to get a W. As always, Go Birds! |

The Eagles continued to rely on the run last week against the Chargers, but unfortunately they didn’t get the same result facing a more talented team in the Chargers. While throwing less than 20 times may field a win against the worst team, those are harder to come by against stiffer competition. The Eagles offense will see that this week as they take on a Denver Broncos team that just blew out the division rival Cowboys. The Eagles may also be forced to run this week against the Broncos who rank 6th against the run as opposed to the last 3 weeks where the Raiders, Lions and Chargers were in the bottom 5. Hurts will most likely need to take a bigger role in the offense this week if the Eagles hope to squeak out a win, I think that Sirianni is still going to need to stick with the run to be able to help Hurts with play action and easier throws. On the other side of the ball the Eagles will hope to not allow the already accurate Bridgewater to complete 80% of his passes, something the Eagles have already allowed to occur 5 times this season. The Broncos have a talented receiving corps and Bridgewater has the arm and accuracy to find them, especially if the Eagles allow the underneath stuff like they have all season. Gannon will need to find a way to get pressure on Bridgewater if the Eagles hope to win, but I don’t know the answer to how he does this. He blitzed at a clip of roughly 30% last week, but was not able to get to Herbert or disrupt the throw. This task could be made more difficult if the Eagles are without corners Avonte Maddox and Darius Slay who left last week’s game and were limited at practice on Thursday. The Eagles have the 2nd easiest remaining schedule, but a loss on Sunday would all but dash their playoff hopes in 2021.Go Birds! |

Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) at the Detroit Lions (0-7) |

Another week and another poor performance by the Eagles who have a lackluster offense and a porous predictable defense. Derek Carr had his way with the Eagles defense completing over 90% of his passes against Jonathan Gannon’s defense. Gannon wants to prevent the big plays, but in the process is laying out the welcome mat for opposing offenses to march down the field. On offense it hasn’t been much better for the Eagles this season, Jalen Hurts continues to struggle going through his reads and is limiting the offense and what Nick Sirianni can run. This isn’t to shift blame from Sirianni who seems to abandon the run on a weekly basis, though on Sunday that was partially due to an early injury to lead back Miles Sanders. This week they will travel to Detroit to take on a struggling Lions team who has yet to notch a W this season. While this sounds like an easy win for the Eagles and allow them to get back on track, I wouldn’t be so sure. The Lions were competitive with a good Rams team in week 7, albeit they pulled out all the stops with two fake punts and a successful onside kick. However DeAndre Swift managed 144 AP yards vs the Rams and defending opposing running backs is an area the Eagles have struggled with mightily this season. Swift could be posed for a big day both in the passing game and on the ground against the weak LB and safety corps of the Eagles. Add in the Eagles bend and then bend further defense plays right into the strength of the Lions offense this season which has been using dink and dunk passes with Jared Goff. The Lions lack big play receivers, but Goff has been accurate this season completing 66% of his passes working underneath. If anything the Eagles offense and Jalen Hurts should be able to get something going against the Lions pass defense which has not been good this season, but neither has Hurts outside of garbage time, so we will see what happens, as always. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) vs the Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) |
---|
The Eagles finally put it all together, it was against the worst team in the league who doesn’t have a win yet this year, but it was a nice W nevertheless. Sirianni finally got over his fear of running the football. The Eagles offense was humming as they ran the ball 46 times and largely took the ball out of Jalen Hurts passing the ball as he had only 14 passing attempts in the 44-6 win. On defense the Eagles limited the Lions offense who were not able to get anything going last week. The Eagles will face a much tougher task this week when Justin Herbert and the Chargers come to town. Herbert is a talented young QB with two very good WRs and a talented RB at his disposal the line is much upgraded from last season. The Eagles will need to hold Herbert in check so that they can rely on the run game much like they did this past week against the Lions. If the Eagles let Herbert pick them apart like Carr did in week 7, it could be a long day for the Eagles. The Eagles need to use the run to keep Herbert on the sidelines and control the clock, if they can do that they may be to put together their first back to back wins this season.Go Birds! |

The Eagles were brought back down to Earth last week as they lost a tough one to the San Francisco 49ers and in the process lost key players on both lines. Brandan Graham tore his achilles and will miss the remainder of the season and Brandon Brooks strained his pectoral muscle and will miss 8 weeks of action. The two lines are where the Eagles are most deep, but their backups will have big shoes to fill on Monday Night Football when the Eagles travel down to Arlington to square-off against the division rival Cowboys. The Cowboys are dealing with injury issues of their own as they will be missing All-Pro Demarcus Lawrence who was injured in week 1, along with WR Michael Gallup. Eagles young QB Jalen Hurts will look to improve from his first outing against the Cowboys in 2020 when he struggled to get anything going and turned the ball over multiple times in the lopsided loss. The Dallas defense has struggled to defend against the pass this season giving up 346 yards per game which is good for second worst in the league. The Eagles will need to get this going in the air to put up points to keep pace with the quick scoring Cowboys offense which looks back on track with the return of Dak Prescott. Prescott and the Cowboys talented WRs will test the Eagles secondary which is currently ranked 3rd against the pass, but has not faced a WR combo as dangerous as Lamb and Cooper. Look for Gannon to mix up coverages and try to get pressure on Prescott will turn the ball over when under pressure and trying to make a play. I expect this game to be a shoot out with two talented offenses. Go Birds! |

The 2021 Philadelphia Eagles season is the franchise's 89th season in the National Football League. Following a disappointing 2020, which saw the Eagles bench their franchise QB and only win a measly 4 times despite winning the division in the previous season, the Eagles made significant changes in the offseason which included shipping that franchise QB off to Indianapolis. The Eagles also made changes to the coaching staff, firing Doug Pederson and a majority of his staff just 3 seasons removed from winning the Super Bowl. A number of veterans were also shown the door including Alshon Jeffrey, Malik Jackson, Jason Peters and Desean Jackson. The first step in righting the ship came with the hiring of Nick Sirianni, who became the 24th coach of the franchise. Sirianni brings with him a competitive attitude that he hopes will translate onto the football field after the Eagles rolled over for teams multiple times last season. At QB, Jalen Hurts will be given his chance to prove himself as a franchise QB himself this season. The Eagles gave him the tools to succeed drafting his former Alabama teammate and Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith at WR in the first round. The Eagles will also return Lane Johnson and Brandon Brooks on the OL which should give Hurts more time in the pocket. On defense the Eagles added upcoming defensive mind Jonathan Gannon who brings a fire and a revamped secondary which added Anthony Harris and Steven Nelson. The secondary will be put to the test week 1 against Philadelphia area native Matt Ryan who leads a talented Falcons passing attack which includes their first round pick and fellow Philadelphia area natice TE Kyle Pitts. The Falcons are also coming in with a new coaching staff and a number of personnel changes as they also struggled in 2020. The Falcons better hope they made enough changes on the defensive side of the ball where they were dead last in passing defense last season, if they didn’t the Hurts era may start with fireworks as both Smith and Raegor have the ability to take it to the house on any given play. I expect this to be a shootout with both teams having a lot of talent on offense and both teams installing new defensive systems. Should be a fun start to the NFL season down in Atlanta. Go Eagles! |
