A list of puns related to "Jacob Jacobs"
Oh boy the plot thickens.
According to The Santa Barbara Independent in a Jan 4 article (https://www.independent.com/2022/01/04/did-youtuber-trevor-jacob-crash-his-plane-in-the-los-padres-on-purpose/),
>A few days after the crash, sources at the airport say Jacob returned with cuts and bruises and told the story of what had allegedly occurred. Employees informed Jacob that the incident would need to be reported to the FAA, but soon after, Jacob and a friend allegedly chartered a helicopter to remove the wreckage from the forest and transport it to an unknown location.
So it seems that
It would have added so much weight to the antagonist if we had someone who was part of our crew in the previous game become someone who is willing to attack Shepard in the third game for Cerberus. We could have had Jacob be a loyal Cerberus operative in the second game, although he could be your friend too just more loyal to Cerberus. Your relationship with him could be reflected in dialogue in ME3 where he shows regret but believes in the cause of Cerberus more than he wants to maintain their friendship. Or if you werenβt friends in the second game, he shows no mercy and only sees it as another assignment. It would have added so much more weight than having some angsty mall ninja just appear. You could have had him receive biomechanical upgrades like Kai Lengs in the time between the games which should explain why he would go from being an ordinary squad mate to someone who could beat Shepard.
Iβm curious what other people think, I believe this would fix the Kai leng βissueβ to a degree.
Quote:
"He doesn't make mistakes. We don't look for him to score much but he's capable of doing it... He was on time and on target every time we found him."
LeBron lowkey criticizing Russ with that statement. However he really likes Reaves, it looks the Lakers have found their Caruso replacement.
First conversation you have with him, they tell you he's former Alliance. He was there on Eden Prime. There's already stuff he can relate to with Shepard with both Eden Prime and feeling like the Alliance has their head in the sand.
He then brings up the Corsairs. It's mentioned once in the whole trilogy and never again.
He has a past with Miranda. "Miranda deserving a better person than him." There could have been character development there. Again, it was wasted.
His father, he processes it almost immediately after the mission. It's touched very briefly in ME3.
There's all of these hints to a more complex character, but BioWare do nothing with it.
Idk
