Grand Cul de Sac Puns

We saw it the last few years but can’t find the address anywhere. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

When the sub started out, there was a rawness, a sense that one was reading, not a story, but something that really happened. AND SOME READERS WERE TRULY FOOLED. So r/nosleep became an exciting place to be.

It built a big audience, which attracted a lot of great writers, who hoped that doing well here would lead to commercial success in the mainstream publishing world.

But those hopes and dreams largely didn't pan out. One by one, those great writers fell away. Not that the sub doesn't have some good people now, but r/nosleep is a highly circumscribed subgenre. And, alas, the subgenre has been played out.

Even the best, most popular TV shows get cancelled after a long run. In that sense, r/nosleep was a raging success. It reached incredible peaks. However, the sub's best days are behind it.

My heartfelt thanks to all who helped create a wonderful experience.

That said, I'm hoping against hope for a creative renaissance.

A few days ago the board for the neighborhood who resperesents the HoA (out of state company) visited my gf's grandmother's house to try and talk to her about some issues. they did not want to disclose information to us as we were not owner of the home, trying to be as legal as possible. after some time of going in circles refusing to talk to us, they started talking to us about information but a neighbor informed me a few weeks prior that the HoA was trying to go after him for my car, as i normally park in the cul-de-sac adjacent to his home on the corner, near his driveway but not blocking it. i inquired with them about my car being reported and they instructed me that it had been reported again, as i have started parking it in another cal-de-sac farther down where half the 'circle' is next to a walking path, where the closest driveway was atleast 100 feet away, as the reasoning before was that it was 'abandoned' becuase i tipically park in the same place. My gf was on vacation and we took her car on a trip, leaving my car there for a week. There is no guest parking, and no rules about parking in general, as long as you arent blocking driveways.

Heres the kicker, my car was reported again as these hoa reps informed me and that i should park in my driveway. i do not live in this subdivision, they have no guest parking, and alot of home owners park there extra cars on the street throughways as half the homes dont even have driveways or garages, as they are older townhomes and even have renters, sometimes having 3-5 cars total in the units. I informed them that i dont live there and only come over and stay on the weekends due to our work schedules being mon-fri, so friday evening i come over and we typcially use her car as its more roomy for running her errands and what not. HOWEVER becuase the previous home owner mentioned, whose house i was parking near prior has a car similar to mine, whoever is reporting my car tagged it as being his to the HoA and has been attempting to fine him for it, which is why ive changed my parking habits to be a bit more, erratic. i informed them of this to which they just looked shocked that it was happening that way. Im assuming now that they no where i visit, they will start sending my gf's grandmother a bill for it. They said i cant block any driveways and that the other culdesac residents were complaining about worrying about hitting my car when backing out of there driveway which just sounds baffling to me as i am easily

I’d say it’s between Rolf, Johnny, and Nazz. Personally I’d say Johnny since he generally likes the Ed’s unless they push him or try to get over on him with their scams. He also tries to save them on some occasions such as when he put the hammer in the cake when Kevin embedded them into a concrete block.

Right outside my cul-de-sac I'm able to get nationwide 5G with four bars and decent speeds. As soon as I drive into my cul-de-sac the connectivity drops to LTE and two bars. Speeds routinely hover at 1mbps or less, phone calls are unstable. If it wasn't for Wi-Fi calling my phone would be useless at home.

According to the coverage map the entire neighborhood is covered by 5G nationwide. Is there anything I can do?

Update 1/10/2022:

Spoke to VZW CS and was first told the area is congested and that my speeds will improve if I upgrade my plan. Three of the four lines are on "5G Start" but my specific line that is also experiencing issues is on "Play More Unlimited 5G UW". It has 50GB of premium data which is nowhere near being maxed out. Once I mentioned this they told me that the area has poor coverage and that I should still consider changing my plan. They have no plans of improving coverage.

I'll try my best to summarize the past 3 weeks. My cycles are 28 days to the day. On Jan 5th, I did not start, and I immediately knew I was pregnant. That Friday, I tested for verification, and it was positive. The next day I told dad, even though I wanted to wait, I just felt that was the right time.

Fast forward to the next Friday, I started to have a weird pressure and gas sensation on my left side. I know pregnancy can have many symptoms, so I dismissed it. That night, I went to the restroom and wiped and had some brownish discharge. I decided to bathe just to clear it. A few minutes after my shower, while lying down, I felt something wet on my thigh. I had a bright red bleed and immediately thought it was over. Spoke with my OB and was instructed to go to ED if bleeding increased or was accompanied by pain. I put on a pad and interestingly enough, I had no more bleeding for the next 24 hours. Every day since then, I have spotted lightly on and off. I have never had any pain. I have continued to have the gas and pressure.

I have followed up for the past few weeks, treating this as a normal pregnancy. I have had a few hcg draws that have not been textbook by doubling, but have still increased appropriately. I've had 3 ultrasounds at 5,6, and 7 weeks with no evidence of a pregnancy in uterus or tubes. I went to the ED 2 days ago with such increased pressure that I was concerned about a rupture, but it was not sharp pain. Every time I had the transvaginal ultrasound, the pressure was released. My OB wanted to give me methotrexate, which we had discussed previously, but I still wanted to hold out because I was holding on to hope.

Tomorrow, I am due to get another methotrexate injection. My emotions are all over the place. It bothers me knowing I possibly had a viable embryo that couldn't be found because it implanted in some weird place. I have a feeling it most likely implanted between my uterus and rectum because of the pressure and gas. Out of all the places why there? Why didn't they look more thoroughly? I'm relieved that it was not in my tubes and didn't cause a rupture, but also because of that it couldn't be found. I had the most normal first pregnancy. This pregnancy was also timed surrounding many life events and was happening at the perfect time. I'll never have any more future normal pregnancies due to my anxiety.

I mainly just wanted to vent and see if anyone else had any similar symptoms or feelings?

Eddy: ADHD - Very short attention span, he needs to be constantly simulated which is way he is obsessed with money and scams. Notice when he doesn’t have any kids scam he has a psychotic episode because he has nothing to tame his mental illness

Edd: OCD - obsessed with cleanliness, being tidy, following the rules, and everything being perfect. In fact, he is so obsessed with being perfect that the only time we ever saw him display any sort of physical strength is when Eddy dropped his ants and Edd nearly choked him to death with his mere legs .

Ed: Autism - We know Ed isn’t the brightest tool in the shed and I think it’s due to Autism. He displays a lot of the symptoms including self harm, persistent repetition of words or actions (buttered toast, gravy, im hungry) , inappropriate social interaction etc

Sarah: Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) - If you read up on this disorder, you will soon come to realize it describes Sarah to a T

Johnny 2x4: Dissociative Identity Disorder - We suspect Johnny of this mental illness due to his inanimate imaginary friend Plank. Plank serves as Johnny’s best friend and his “other half” . Insinuating that plank is his second personality he can’t express . Johnny seems to be disconnected from reality which explains why he seems to have oblivious to his annoying nature to others, as well as why he can’t be hypnotized in “look into my Ed”. He also has a third personality which is “Captain Melonhead”

We’ve been house hunting for the last two months and saw a house we think would be a good match. Newer house on a .3 lot. It is on a cul de sac with 4 other houses on a roundabout. Con is backyard is tiny so will probably be using front yard with the kids.

Has anyone lived in a cul de sac and regretted it? Less privacy is our main concern.
