A list of puns related to "German suited playing cards"
Lately I've gotten into collecting cards, mostly from different airlines. The decks I have from Lufthansa and Swissair are both short decks but with French suits.
Are there any airline playing cards out there with German suits instead? I'd love to add a deck to my collection!
A physical store would probably be best!
A few days ago I was reading a thread on here and I saw in the comments the often discussed topic of 'martials being underpowered'. This always perplexes me. This could be just me, or just the people I've played with, but I've always thought of the martials as the more interesting characters. They never seem underpowered or uninteresting.
My first character was a way of the open hand monk. I revelled in taking multiple attacks, stunning enemies, and catching arrows out of mid air. My next martial was a fighter, eldritch knight. I took warcaster and spent my days slapping booming blade on bad guys when they tried to flee, laughing maniacally as they took the extra damage.
By comparison the casters I've played have been fun but underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I love utility spells. In fact, most of my spells became utility spells. You don't need a large catalogue of attack spells. But using a spell had a weird disconnect with me. The spell was awesome, not my character.
Every time I read the discussion about martials vs casters I always remember, with fondness, my martials. This could be my playstyle preferences or it could be the way I DM or my other DMs set up games. My martials have always been powerhouses against enemies. If I get incapacitated it's because I'm a threat. My team help me out because they need me to continue fighting. Plus we always seem to get strength, dexterity and constitution saving throws thrown at us. There is no feeling quite like overpowering something magical through sheer strength.
So it could be the way I like to play or it could be the DM balancing fights to help the martials feel important, but I think martials are balanced.
I haven't read the book, but a friend who is is telling me that she says you shouldn't play them multi way, or generally at all.

I see there are so many options and really know nothing...so looking for insights :)
>Sources tell cleveland.com that Nance, who turns 29 in January and is better suited for a win-now organization, naturally started wondering about his role and potential playing time. Would it be diminished? Would he need to play the 5? Shift to the 3 in certain lineups? Even though there was a path to make the situation work, the two sides discussed the possibility of moving him to a better situation, one that had more available minutes, a possible starting or closing role and winning potential.

>According to sources close to Nance, he wasnβt caught off guard by Fridayβs agreed-to deal. He is happy about his fit with the Blazers -- and a chance to play with Damian Lillard and buddy CJ McCollum. Portland, which finished sixth in the Western Conference last season and hired Chauncey Billups to replace Terry Stotts, gives Nance a chance to play meaningful games, something he unsurprisingly wants at this stage of his career. If the Blazers implode, or shift into a rebuild, Nance can leave as an unrestricted free agent at the end of next season.
So there have been a few posts over the last few days about playing non-nut flushes. There was this post about a tank call with a third nut flush and another thread about a flush v flush v flush pot (no one even had the A high flush). How do you decide when suited cards are playable for their value (ie not when playing only a player or your position to bully / steal)? I'm personally leery of playing anything worse than KXs, unless it's connected as well. What are your thoughts on suited cards and position?
The DH2 module of Roll20 is pretty neat, but Roll20 itself feels clunky at times. Iβve found mentions of other VTTs for DH on the internet, such as Foundry and Astral. But I have no experience with other VTT and before I make the effort of transferring my assets and learning a new VTT system, Iβd love to hear your opinion!
Which VTT gives the best DH2 experience?
Thank you for your input! Of course, if you could explain your choice, that would be very appreciated, too!
I might be blind and missed where it said to use X writing to utensil on Card. And yes, this is in fact a genuine question I have
Hi guys, i was hoping to buy myself a new Acoustic-Electric guitar anytime soon, and i was wondering what kind of a guitar would be best suited for playing the band's and other likewise songs. (Basically I'm talking about the ones in which Alex plays live in studios or covers, For E.g - the cover of It feels like i only go backwards by Tame Impala)
I am new in playing and currently i have an old Acoustic guitar, so I was hoping if y'all could help me out towards directing what kind of i should be looking for! Thanks :)
I feel like Odegaard is a player who dictates games rather than a player like Emile who is involved in the last attacking action. Would he be better suited to playing in the position his shirt number suggests, an 8 next to Partey, with ESR in the 10 position.
Question in title. My significant other and I have plans to move to Germany in the next few years and we love playing card games. I was wondering what are the most popular and what are the games that everyone knows.
Hi everyone
Had a weird path to Shadowverse. Heard the new set was dropping, heard it was based off the Switch, bought the Switch game-- loved it. Was totally expecting it to be the drawling high fantasy elves vs dragons stuff of the real game, but fell in love with the cheesy Card Game High School setting.
So once I finish up Champion's Battle I still want to get into the real game especially because they're adding anime-only cards (God of Curses and Chronomage especially are my boys) but the complexity jump from Champion's Battle and current SV is obviously grossly huge.
I am playing in Japanese as a way to practice language so it takes me especially long to parse massively complex cards. I'm looking for a deck that's gameplan is relatively straightforward and not too reactionary based on the opponent's cards. So yeah something combo-ish would probably be ideal to start just so I can focus on like, reading just a couple of my opponent's cards per game and not have to somehow skim-read every single one of those insane powercreeped text boxes within the confines of a single match.
The complexity/text-density of my own deck is less of a concern, so long as once I learn it, it's a deck that can generally enjoy the game against the opponent without knowing every single one of their cards effects. Any ideas for Dawn of Calamity?
Also shoutouts to Champion's Battle for being lit
