Hey guys I was just wondering if any cars in GT Sport have blow off valves or turbo flutter?

Normal Flutter Valve Routine?

Hey all, both my kids (ages 6 and 8) are now on trikafta and are doing really well, so once things calm down again we want to start traveling.

Our clinic gave us the go ahead to do nebs and flutter-valve treatment instead of vest treatment for limited amounts of time (their Dr helped develop the vest so he’s reluctant to do anything else).

What does a normal flutter-valve treatment look like? We got them InnoSpire Go nebs for traveling as well.

Thanks for the help!

Turbo flutter/blow off valve sounds

So I really like the game as a whole and I can bare the downscaled graphics on my original xb1. But has anyone noticed that if you tip the throttle even the slightest the full blow off valve sound happens and it gets old when you're trying to just cruise at normal speeds? I love the sounds but just not every time I touch the throttle. I'd love if it was like fh3 or even fm7 and 6 where you got a slight blow off noise or partial throttle and then the louder one when coming off full throttle.

[Serious] Does a proper turbo "flutter" blow off valve exist?

I know by now that turbo "flutter" is a bad thing. However I really like the sound of turbo flutter, and would like to know if there is a proper blow off valve that replicates the turbo flutter sound.

Here is a turbo flutter compilation for those who don't know what I'm talking about:

http://youtu.be/LD_0L6xRe4I

The sound I would like to replicate starts at exactly 1 minute in.

This is the supercharger I would be looking to put this on (VF480):

The second to last paragraph says a blow off valve can be used.

I'm considering a restriction upstream to reduce maximum flow into a vessel. The action calls for consideration of too low a flow leading to valve chatter. I've seen rules of thumb of 30% of rated flow of the PSV.

Ainsley sure likes walnuts

This is what happened the first time I took Ainsley out into the woods.

The number on my caller ID looked a little familiar, but I get a lot of calls from the 314 area code and I just can’t tell them apart. As soon as I heard her voice on the line, I wished I’d let the call go to voicemail.

β€œHi, Jack, it’s Ainsley!” she bubbled. She sounded awful chipper for someone who’d been widowed in a more than gruesome fashion due to what I guess you could call a camping accident.

β€œUh, hi,” I answered. Then I thought about how well she’d paid me for the unfortunate outing she’d booked a few weeks before and added, β€œI can’t give you a refund.”

β€œOh, I’m not calling for a refund,” she said. β€œFar from it, actually. I really appreciate how great you’ve been since those unfortunate events with my late husband.”

β€œWhat the hell are you talking about, Ainsley?” I answered. β€œI ain’t done nothing since thoseβ€”what did you call them?β€”β€˜unfortunate events’ with Hunter.”

β€œThat’s just it,” she said, β€œI appreciate how you’ve given me space to grieve in my own way.”

β€œWell, I can promise you that I’m super eager to keep giving you lots and lots of space. I’m kind of afraid of what your grieving would look like up close and personal.”

β€œWell, that’s just it,” she said. β€œI fear that my grief compels me to return to the hills where it happened, so to speak. As soon as possible. With my friend Ashley and her husband Joseph.”

β€œWell, I’m not all that keen on hosting you and Ashley and Joeβ€”β€œ

β€œJoseph,” Ainsley corrected me. β€œHe hates it when people call him Joe.”

β€œThat makes me even less keen on hosting him,” I told her.

β€œAre you sure?” Ainsley asked. β€œWe’ll pay double your regular rate. We don’t even need your usual tour. We just want to gather walnuts.”

Of all the things Ainsley could ask for, wanting to come out to pick up walnuts in December was the one I expected least.

β€œWalnuts!?” I said. β€œYou’re a little late for that. There ain’t many left, and the one’s that are still out there will be hard to find and a little past their prime.”

I could almost hear Ainsley smiling over the phone.

β€œAre you telling me that if we paid you for the privilege we couldn’t find any walnuts on your spectacular wilderness preserve? Not even if we pay you a thousand dollars a bag for them? That’s on top of your r

My life as a living art exhibit.

He calls me his masterpiece. 'From Man, the Machine.' That's what the plaque says. I can't see it, but he's told me that's my 'title'. All I can see is the screen and the onlookers on the other side of the glass. Looking at both is still disorienting. I'm not used to my eyes being so far apart and don't reckon I ever will be. Also, I miss blinking. A lot.

His name is Tobias Keinseele. There are two things you need to know about him. One, he's an artist. Two, he's completely fucking insane. You'd recognize him if you saw him straight away, that mirror-surfaced glass eye is hard to miss. Chances are you won't see him though, not unless you're down on your luck.

If you have already heard of him, and are alive to read this, then fuck you. Why? Because it means you're one of the oily leeches on the other side of the glass. One of the ones gawping at me, the ones rich and wealthy enough to know about Tobias Keinseele and his gallery of anatomical defiance. I've recognized dozens of them. So many of the faces I saw in the papers and on TV have seen me too.

I doubt they think of me as a 'me' anymore though, if they ever did see us dregs, drifters, and junkies as people that is. Hell, Tobias' gallery is probably the only time folk like that acknowledge folk like me exist at all.

That's how I met him, you see. I needed money for a fix. The ad in the paper was simple enough. "Artist looking for models with unusual histories, cash-in-hand, address below". Did I question the danger of that vagueness? No. My junk-focused mind only noticed those three little words: cash-in-hand.

It took me nearly an hour walking deep into the sprawling industrial district to find the place. By this point in my addict journey, I was used to walking until my feet bled to get a fix. I was already imagining the prick of the needle and rush of euphoria when my shaking finger pressed on the buzzer of the large, derelict warehouse. Normal people, people that don't wake up in gutters, would have been suspicious of the near-abandoned industrial estate. Folk like yourselves would probably have turned around and looked for safer ways to make some scratch. I'm not… I wasn't, folk like yourselves though. At the time this ominous cube of brick-and-mortar with its boarded windows and distance from the safety of civilization was no different from any building I woke up in.

The voice that answered the intercom also would have made you flee, I bet. Not me though. I'd spent too many decades

How were you diagnosed?

What symptoms were you having before you were diagnosed and how were you diagnosed?

I’ve been experiencing what feels like heart palps. for a week now, every day. It’s hard to explain what it feels like but almost like my heart skips a beat, or flutters and then doubles up, or just has a glitch in its normal beating pattern. I went to urgent care and the doctor had an EKG done which didn’t show anything. She then sent a referral for cardiology and a heart monitor which I’m still waiting on. I see my doctor today to talk with her about everything that’s going on.

I’m really nervous to find out what’s happening. My mom has mitral valve prolapse and thinks I might have it too. I don’t know much about it so I’m glad I found this subreddit. I have recorded my sinus rhythm on an Apple Watch and it appears when the β€œskip” happens the t-wave inverts.

Any advice, suggestions or sharing your experience helps! Thank you!

Advice; Help

So, I have PE and I could care less about the psychological/aesthetic aspects of the deformity, but what I do care about is arrhythmias and palpitations. I first started getting palpations a couple of years ago (I am 24 now) but they were few and far between; however, when I did get them, they would range from uncomfortable skipped beat, to very forceful beat I could feel up my throat that would make me jump. I have also had a couple of flutters. These palpations have come more and more common though and they honestly make me not want to do things like exercise because their scary (keep in mind I have been lifting since I was 16 so this is a big decrease in QOL)

I went to a cardiologist not thinking it was Pectus related about 6 months ago. I got an EKG and wore a two week monitor. He said everything was fine and told me to not worry (I honestly don't think the monitor worked because it also told me it lost signal).

As time went on again more frequent palpations and that's when I connected the dots and thought they may be related to my Pectus. That's when I went to a Pectus specialist and before meeting got another Echo and a exercise stress test along with a CT scan.

Results - CT scan Haller index of 3.5 Stress test, great exercise capacity but some palpations during Echo - some palpations during, mild mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitation and trival regurgitation of the other valves

I spoke with the PE doctor, BEFORE he got to review my echo and stress test, all he saw was the CT and said basically that since my chest was more narrow and oval shaped the surgery wouldn't do that much. I expressed that I could care less about the cosmetics but I want the palpations to stop, he didn't have much to say and reiterated the fact that he's not a cardiologist.

He simply told me of there was anything abnormal on my tests they would call.

Weeks later, no call. I found out about my results by going online.

Long story short, these palpations and flutters scare the crap out of me and make me feel like I'm having a heart attack. I am young, very lean, exercise but they are happening more often. What do you guys think I should do? It's almost like they don't believe me when I say I experience these daily ...

BPV and Vacuum Source

Hi all, have searched and found information about BoVs but not necessarily bypass valves. I'm getting a GFB DV+ installed soon and wondering how it will sound if I just keep the solenoid vacuum source. I'm perfectly happy with flutter but it sounds like the solenoid will try to force the bpv to recirculate the air instead (based on people saying their BoVs would be venting all the time).

I wouldn't mind a bit of flutter on low/medium throttle, was assuming I could adjust the DV+ to be tighter rather than using a true vacuum source. Just wondering whether there will be all that much difference considering I am using a bypass valve rather than a blow off. Thanks in advance
