A list of puns related to "Elytron (annelid anatomy)"
I'm just gonna cut straight to the point, I know that there are a lot more problem in this game but the Elytron is literally sitting in a ditch and rotting due to how ancient it kit is. The Archwing is advertise as "an archwing who sole purpose is to blow up everything" yet unless you're playing any mission with a solid object, you will most likely feel like the archwing doesn't do anything at it's just there because of it's "tank stat" and even at that you can just pick Rhino press his 2 then exit the Railjack and suddenly you're more tanky that the Elytron.
That being said I think fixing this archwing is not that hard. DE just need to increase the missile speed of 1 and 4 and make 4 reactivatable and maybe buff up some of it's number because currently with the lack any archwing damage mod, you feel so underpowered despite it being the War machine of this game.
One tip about this archwing : it's 4 knock back EVERY NPC within it's vicinity so it can be use to cheat bounties where you have to kill enemy faster than an NPC and Plague star where for some reason it can knock back a giant hemocyte into wall making it stop moving.

Man these color choices are really rough. My ski pants are green. I'd go for the dynasty but needing new pants is what's holding me back. The kingfisher is a great color for wearing around town but I think I want something bright for hiking. Elytron looks cool but it isn't very bright either, wish it was bright yellow. What did you guys get and why?
I don't know why I'm doing this. I don't know why I started messing around with my Elytron, I don't know why I came up with this, I know why I am typing this. Probably because I'd rather write it down and shout it into the void rather than have it be completely forgotten in my own head. Feel free to comment/offer constructive criticism. Here we go. Oh and for those wondering, in open-world, ability range is divided by 10.
Passive: Lock-On Missiles
Ability 1: Warhead
Ability 2: Contrails
Ability 3: Thumper
The elytra item must then be crafted using two of the elytron items.
Elytron core vent is not showing when i use it. The trail is invisible or something and afterburner does not detonate it or it is i cannot see it. Is there a fix?
Hi guys,
just a question to my fellow owners of the Archwing Elytron: Am I the only one who thinks that the skills are total garbage in comparison to the Odonata skills?
Just a quick overview:
Odonata:
Elytron:
Overall:
Odonata has 3 really useful skills and one that is a nice to have.
Elytron has 3 skills that have to either hit an enemy (very hard!) or a solid surface - and a skill that is.. a fart.
From my point of view, the Elytron is - compared to Odonata - extremly disappointing. What do you think?
One of the best items in game, a method of reaching speeds never seen before, would be hard to acquire, right? Wrong.
After finding like 3 or so end cities it is just lying in an item frame on a small ship somewhere, right there for you to grab with no hesitation. After defeating a dragon youβd expect this item to be harder to get, at least thatβs what I think.
For an item with such OP abilities, you should have to fight a hard mob (that spawns only once in end city airships) that drops an elytron (The wing of a beetle irl) which when crafted with another one would make an elytra. With an elytra being a set of insect wings it makes no sense for it to spawn in the end where there are no beetles or insects at all, so a new mob should be made as a compromise for this error in logic.

When using WildFly Elytron to secure a web application it is possible to customise the authentication policy without modifying the web application, this is something that could be very useful as an application transitions though different environments such as development, testing, staging, and production - in each of these environments a custom authentication policy can be used without requiring a custom build of the web application.
This blog post is going to take a simple web application secured by HTTP BASIC authentication and convert it to use WildFly Elytron using SPNEGO authentication with fallback to BASIC without repackaging the application. Example Application This blog post have been written using the following example web application: -
https://github.com/wildfly-security-incubator/elytron-examples/tree/master/simple-webapp
This application contains a single welcome page with a link to a secured servlet that requires the caller have the role 'Users', the resulting deployment contains a web.xml that specifies authentication should use HTTP BASIC authentication.
The example application contains no JBoss or WidFly specific descriptors or annotations and instead depends on the default configuration within the Undertow subsystem using the 'other' security domain which pulls the user information from the application-users.properties and application-roles.properties.

I have a maxed Elytron, no formas. Problem is the Forth ability seems ineffective as heck. I'm not sure if it's a problem with how I'm aiming, but I fire it, and it goes flying off and sometimes explodes sometimes doesn't but I have never seen it kill anything. Is it long range only? How do you target it? Hell most of the abilities seem pretty useless on it. Any advice?
I'm saving up the necessary 25,000 credits to complete the entire thing in my foundery but I know nothing of this archwing. How is it? How do you all like it? What's your go to mods for this Archwing?
Title says it all
I just wanted to feel like a badass fighter jet in SPACE with missiles and firey exhaust but man does it suck. Any advice?
First ability deals no damage, and where the heck does it go? Blast range sucks, and reliability is non existent.
Second ability supposedly creates a zone of "Punishing explosions". All it does is make adequate fireworks.
Third is alright I guess, can't see the affect and doesn't last very long but I guess it doesn't need to?
Fourth is awesome looking, but damage varies for some reason. Bring the Nukes
Any advice on how to make it fun? In open world and the very few archwing missions.
I am giving this as a shout-out to anyone who has trouble with Uranus Spy Vaults. Despite how it sounds, the heavy-duty missiles of the Elytron make for a useful Spy tool in 2 of the 3 Uranus Spy Vaults. Here's how:
Underwater Tunnels and Fans Vault: This is the vault where 90% of it is in Archwing mode. You hack a console, a couple of ramps come down, and into the water you go. If you go to the right, you can get to the console quickly, but have to navigate past a timed fan that can't be shut off, and if you fail, will throw you into a sensor barrier.
If you go left, you will take the long route past multiple fans and sensors, but careful shooting and timing can get past them with minor risk.
OR, if you are in the Elytron, go left, down the hole, and shoot a Thumper Missile (the 4, ult), with the range mod on your Archwing... every single electrical panel in the entire vault is decimated because Thumper's explosion bypasses terrain, and every single fan but that one fan on the rightmost route shuts off... leaving you with a slightly slower, but completely risk-free path to the on-foot section. Just remember not to dismount your Archwing while the sensor bar is directly above you, and it's a cake-walk from there.
Vault Two: The Camera Tower. This vault consists of you entering from the bottom, with one central tower, multiple levels of catwalk with Grineer Sensor Regulators on them, and the usual method of progression is destroying water pipes so water floods the vault, kills the cameras, and turns off the sensor Barrier preventing you from getting up to the spy console.
The Elytron works here too! DON'T use Thumper! If you are in a sortie, it will not kill Sensor Regulator Eximi in one hit, setting off the alarm instead. BUT... Once the water level is at least one level raised, if you hang out in the water in your Elytron, wait for the Sensor Regulator to proceed to the opposite side of the catwalk from the water pipes, then use Bloomer Missile (the 1, first move), that explosion does NOT bypass terrain obstacles! The missile (manually detonate it near the water's surface, enemy radar will show you where the Sensor Regulator is) will break the water pipes and raise the water level, killing the camera and proceeding without even getting out of the water!
Side Note: There appears to be some kind of underwater tunnel inside the center of the tower. I am unsure what it's for yet, the alarm went off because I was experimenting with Thumper in here on my
... keep reading on reddit β‘I dont know if i'll ever find it, maybe i'm lucky and the owner of it will show up, it was an amazing captura screenshot that looked like this:
If someone has it, or has saved/commented it... please link!
It should be no more than a month old
Hope i'm not violating any rule...
Manually guiding the warhead is a pain and inaccurate that most times, it's about finding the nearest solid object near point to detonation.
How hard can it be to add enemy tracking to the warhead? Also adds the risk of self damage if enemies are close by.
