A list of puns related to "EY Parthenon"
can anyone help me understand the difference between the 2 divisions at EY. thanks in advance! :)
I have received offers from both and surprisingly Parthenon us paying lesser than PWC. However I am still confused about the opportunities and exposure I will get at both places and also work culture. Both are strategy roles one is business and one is IT related. Very confused. Please HELP.
My status for a consultant application changed to βWe'd like to progress you to the next step in our recruiting processβ but I never received an email from them. I also saw that the position I applied for was taken down and marked as filled. Does the next step mean an interview?
So I'm trying to decide what offer to take here and would appreciate some guidance. Currently deciding between these two. I interned for EY Parthenon last summer and now considering taking another internship offer there or at JP Morgan Wealth Management. The latter job seems to pay better. Not sure if I want to do consulting or not. But also interested in wealth management. What're exit opps to IB like for JPM Wealth Management? What're your thoughts?
Hello!
I have a final round interview for a full-time associate role at EYP very soon. However, I am not sure what the "written case interview" and "group case interview" are going to be like. Anyone who's been through the process would like to share your insights and experience? Which case resources are best to practice from? Any advice will be much appreciated too!
Thank you in advance!
Has anyone successfully moved from a consulting based role at EY to EY Parthenon? Do they give a preferred status or priority to EY employees looking to move to a more strategy based role at EYP?
Hi there, as the title states I will be joining EYP team in one month. Until now I did not have any contact with anyone from my team nor my boss. Is this normal ? I was thinking of writing an email stating that Iβm excited to Start soon and if thereβs anything I could do to be adequately prepared. Any recommendations or similar experiences ? Thank you guys in advanced.
I am now a Solution Consultant - level 2 at KPMGβs IT Advisory (equivalent to second year Senior, above Consultants, but under Manager).
Iβve worked on multiple Oracle and SAP implementations, mostly on proposals and CDD. The pay is great, work-life balance depends on whenever the project goes live, but OT charge is generous. The team that is working with me is about 80 people, and I can honestly say itβs not toxic at all and is the most supportive environment Iβve been in. I have an amazing PM and Mentor on top of that.
Iβve been, however, considering changing my field of work for a while now. I had the opportunity earlier this year to transfer to M&A, but my manager insisted that I stay until the current project is over. Now that it is done, Iβm really itching to leave IT Advisory.
Iβve been offered a Senior 1 position (first year Senior) at EY Parthenon strategy & transactions. The team here is young, only about 6 people including Partner, but the pay is better, however no OT. From what I briefly saw in the interview, work life balance isnβt really a thing here particularly. Can anybody shed some extra light on cultures at Parthenon and EY in general? Thanks a lot.
I thought I had most of this figured out but was more confused after talking with someone this weekend about summer recruiting. Any have insights into what the current structure is/isn't?
**Pre EY/P merger, I think there was a legacy EY Consulting team(Strategy focus) and the TAS group, and then Parthenon (Strategy & DD)
**Post merger and in 2020, there are 3 major subgroups within EY-P?
My question is, does the EY Legacy Consulting group still exist today as a separate group work/recruiting wise? Someone I talked to who finished MBA in 2020 mentioned her top program recruited for EY Consulting and that when they started work, they got split into EY Con/EY-P Growth Strategy.
Came across a project run by EY Parthenon for a government agency on digital marketplace startups in Melbourne, Victoria (https://launchvic.org/files/A-review-of-Melbournes-Digital-Marketplaces-FINAL.pdf)
It is 3 years old but is an example of their work. Happy reading & happy easter :)

How is EY's post-acquisition of Parthenon 2-years down the line faring compared to S&-PWC?
Dutch text link only, I am afraid.
Rough summary: BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) office of OC&C will leave their network (now 14 offices remaining) and join EY-Parthenon. Interesting that a single office would split off from the network... but probably not a very reassuring sign for the remaining 14.
Hi everyone,
I am pretty grateful that I have been accepted into some pretty good MBA programs, however, I am now having a hard time choosing due to finances/scholarships. My post MBA goal is strategy consulting (MBB is the goal, however, I am not MBB or bust) and I currently have a job as a tech consultant and have found it difficult to transition from my current firm to more of a larger firm (going from my current firm to MBB is almost impossible).
Profile:
Did not take the GMAT due to waivers, 4.0 GPA from a T50 University, Triple Major in Business, and 4 years of WE (2 in operations and 2 in consulting).
Offers:
Cornell has not offered me any type of financial assistance and I am currently in the process of trying to negotiate some type of scholarship utilizing my offers from the schools mentioned.
USC has given me a $100K scholarship over the course of 2 years and Kelley has given me essentially a full-ride (I would just need to pay housing).
I am really confused on what to do here and if I should accept a full-ride versus Marshall/Cornell who place better in my target firms (MBB, EY Parthenon, Strategy&, Accenture, etc.). Can anyone please suggest any inputs that they may have?
Thank you!
How important is home office for EY Parthenon? Is it easy to switch? I heard it is more lenient than EY in general.
Yesterday evening I went out with a group of old acquaintances from university. We are all in our twenties and have at most 3 years of work experience.
I suddenly found myself in a conversation where I was speaking with 3 guys who were all from B4 consulting or CF (I also work in B4 ). Eventually the conversation shifts to discussing B4 in general and how they have more or less similar values and culture, seemingly the opinion is unanimous. Suddenly, one of us who is in EY Parthenon starts striking a different tone " Well, I don't want to brag but we are different. The quality of people is higher at EY Parthenon, we have more interesting projects". Rather annoyed by this reaction I respond "keep in mind that MBB is a step above though" and he says "actually our salaries are the same and in terms of reputation the distance is narrowing, it's similar to Goldman Vs Citi in banking". Tired of the topic and somewhat irritated, I try to shut the conversation down "fair enough, but ultimately I don't feel like it changes much for me" and here he goes "it does actually, I earn more than you".
Is this sort of attitude common in strategy consulting or is this guy just a character?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hi! I am having trouble deciding between offers and thought it'd be helpful if I had Reddit decide for me... I am deciding between the following offers in NYC:
Management Consulting Associate at PwC
Strategy Analyst at Deloitte
Deal Tech Associate at EY-Parthenon
I am a senior in college and these are all full-time roles. Please let me know if there's any more info you need, thanks!
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Because she wanted to see the task manager.
Heard they've been doing some shady business.

Hi guys! I just got an email notifying me that I made it to the final round for the EY M&A Consulting Staff position. It mentioned in the email that there would be 2-3 30-minute interviews, one of them "technical in nature." Does anyone have some insight into what this means, and how I can prepare for this? It isn't Parthenon, it's within Strategy & Transactions, so I'm not sure if it's the same style of case.

How easy or hard would it be to get into EY Parthenon consulting coming from consulting at EY?
