Butler - "Just go with your gut. Youβre not dumb. All of that will come out whenever itβs time,β he told Yahoo Sports. βRight now is not the time. Iβm locked in with this. Iβm happy, man. Iβm smiling and my guys want me to be here, my organization wants me to be here, I want to be here and weβre going to ride this thing until the wheels fall off. Iβm not saying Philly wasnβt great, man. We had some really good players. I talk to Joel [Embiid] damn near every f-----g day. Itβs a brotherhood, man. I love that guy. Iβm going to always have his back and I know heβll always have mine.β

We've been locked down here for a few months. I've been chatting w/ a girl online. She wants me to come and stay with her for a few days once the lockdown lifts. But it gives me horrible anxiety to leave town because my LO is here. what if she wants to hang and i miss her because im out of town with this other girl? i know this sounds stupid. but its seriously stopping me here. Please help.
Hi unforgiving, I'm dad"
"Yes you are"
But. She has never loved me like I was her child.
This type of advice fucks with me because I totally agree with it. If I could forgive and forget, I would. People donβt realize that your body will literally shut down when youβre faced with your abuser. Your mind dissociates, panics, shuts off. My body made the decision to fight my abuser. I just finally started to listen to it.
Anyway....what do you think of advice like this?

As per the title really. If I'm gonna quit I'll quit thanks.
Ordinarily I skip my replays, don't view cut scenes etc but if you pull this kinda shit I'll be hanging around for the full 90, use all my pauses and I'll watch absolutely everything, I say watch, I won't be actually watching, probably make a brew...just saying.

I used to work as a valet at a hotel near the downtown strip of a large tourist city. It is a tipped position, and as such, I was making only $5/hour. The only reason it was that high, was because I was the shift supervisor. Before the promotion, it was the standard $2.13/hour.
One week, there was two rather trashy ladies who stayed at the property. They were there about 5 days in total I believe. They had us valet their dump of an SUV (self-parking was a thing there, and cheaper than having us park it). They would use the valet staff - who also doubled as the bellmen - for almost everything, repeatedly insulting us all the time.
They shop for groceries at the Piggly Wiggly and have us take their groceries to their room (it was an extended-stay property with a kitchenette and cabinets) put them all away, and then not tip. The whole time we'd hear how horrible the place was - it wasn't - how terrible we were at our jobs - again also untrue - and about how we're probably all just loser musicians unable to make it (partially true, but still insulting nonetheless).
They'd utilize our free shuttle service to the downtown bar strip, and complain the whole time about how we weren't a 24-hour service, about how long it would take to get a cab back to the hotel (they literally line up by the bars all night and it was maybe a $10 ride).
After 5 nights of this crap, the whole valet staff was rather fed up. We don't expect monumental tips from guests, just $2 - $3 here or there for parking their vehicles, handling their luggage and taking them to go binge-drinking. Not once did these "ladies" tip. We'd have some guests who wouldn't tip their entire stay, but then give one large one at the end of their stay to cover it all. Not these people.
I brought their vehicle up on the morning they were to check out, loaded their luggage for them, and handed over their keys. They then decided to eat breakfast and scoff at me as they walked inside. 20 minutes later, they still had not come out to leave. We had limited space on the drive and a lot of guests checking out. Cue pettiness:
The next four vehicles I brought up, I made sure to box theirs in, to keep it from leaving and hand off the keys as quickly as possible before telling guests to go enjoy their breakfast. We'd usually keep the keys, just in case we needed the extra space right up until the guests left. Sure enough, while still boxed in, my very trashy guests come out to leave, proceed to yell at

The air was heavy and rank, as if it too had died. One foot down, shifting my weight, the other up, a slow wooden groan, then repeat. Skip the one with a pockmark in itβthat oneβs the loudest.
They wake up every time I step on that one.
I inched my way to the front door, then took a deep breath, held it and reached for the doorknob. Turning it up, not down, it let off a faint click, and I pulled the door out. Fresh air hit me, soothing, and I breathed it in deep. It soothed meβtoo much.
I fucked up.
The door groaned as I pulled it just the slightest bit too hard, and though it was no louder than a weak cough, my entire being cringed. My breaths quickened.
Something rustled behind me. I knew what it was.
I closed my eyes.
Tendrils snaked around me and pulled, and the world faded to black.
I awoke to the dim light that was sunrise in my hell of a home. It was never brighter than a moonlight night, even when the sun was out, like a coffee filter had been placed over the sky. Groaning, I sat up, and winced as I recalled my mistake the night before.
Twisted flesh, jagged and blacker than night itself, hung in front of me. Bright orange eyes peered out, floating on the mass, freely moving across its entire body. I would have been startled, but after God knows how many years, the terror of it had become numb.
That one, with the shifty eyes, was Three. He was, as his name implied, the third⦠thing⦠I had ever encountered after crashing at sea. Like the others, he could not speak any human words, but he did have an uncomfortable tendency to whistle.
His two eyes fixated on me, and a tendril shot out, propping up my head. Another, carrying a glass of water, gently approached my lips, and I drank from it, as I did every morning, trying to avoid his terrible gaze. A faint, dissonant tune came from his being, seeping into my bones. The look of him, the touchβthat, I had gotten used to. But the sad, slightly off-tune melody he offered me every morning never failed to set a chill into my spine.
Three left, and, like clockwork, Two drifted in. Like a pool of fog, it swirled along the floor, drifting toward me as a cloud in the sky would. I held a breath, out of a perpetual fear that Iβd accidentally inhale the monster, and let it lift me. I never knew quite what it did during that time, as

I look over and there she stands...the classic Karen, hairdo and all. Still not awake, I'm like sorry I'm standing in front of something she wants so I move out of the way. I get "Ahem" again. I go.."What?" She says " Are you going to just stand there, or are you gonna help me?" I say "Help you what?" She yells at me "Don't be so rude and help your customers. What isle is chi tea in?" I tell her "Lady, I don't work here." This Karen goes ballistic, shrieking at me and loosing her mind, accusing me of lying to her, demanding that I shouldn't treat customers that way, and demands to speak to my manager. I tell her to leave me alone. I'm a customer, just like you. She continued to harpy me, saying that "You millenials are all alike. Too lazy to do your job" (I'm 40). I go "Bitch, I'm wearing an oversized Air Force hoodie, with sweatpants and fucking fluffy house slippers....what the hell makes you think that I work here. She glares at what I'm wearing, and right at that moment, an actual employee rounded the corner. You could literally see the exact moment that she realized she was a moron. She huffed and quickly ran away. Dumb ass.
I'm early 20s and a quite older guy (easily twice my age) came up to me after I had cashed him out (paid for a $23.50 meal with $25 and told me to keep the change) and asked what my name was and then introduced himself and said he'd like to leave me his number. Me, being busy, just gave him a pen and piece of paper and said to leave it on the table, because it's easier than just saying no.
Needless to say, I threw it away with the rest of the trash, because 1. you're absolutely not my type, and 2. even if you were my type, you're a shitty tipper, which immediately makes you unattractive.
I have been living with my significant other in a in-law apartment attached to his parents house. We never had a written agreement of any sort in regards to rent etc. I have not received mail here,I have a po box. He has recently become abusive(including 1 rape) so my yelling has been noticed by them. He has told them things about me that aren't true. His mother came on our side today and told me to find somewhere else to be tonight, I can't& I never had a key it's always been a key pad,I have all my things here. She said she is going to the sheriff's, I thought they only got involved after court? I really will be gone in two weeks max so I'm not sure what I should do since they want me out tonight. I have PTSD so a shelter isn't a real option for me & the motels closest are not filled with the best people. If someone could give me maybe a minimum of time I should expect that would really help.
I'll try to keep the backstory brief, but it's kinda convoluted. I paid this guy to mow my lawn a few times, and I guess he just kinda decided we were besties. I don't dislike him, but I'm just an introvert who likes being by myself most of the time, so usually I would brush him off when he wanted to hang out.
At one point, we randomly crossed paths while I was walking the dog, and somehow casual conversation turned to the subject of my house (which I own) having a room available, which someone could potentially stay in if they paid rent. Long story short, that didn't end up happening, and I didn't see him again for a while. He recently resurfaced, and we saw each other now and then until he told me that he was going to North Carolina. I thought that was the end of it, but of course he came back.
That brings us to six days ago, when I saw him through my window carrying an office chair, so I went out there and asked him what he was doing. His answer, as I perceived it at the time, was that he just wanted a little personal spot to kinda kick back and have some alone time away from his job or whatever (he works within walking distance of my house). So I agreed to that; partially because I'm not really good at saying no, but also partially because I don't ever use my backyard or shed, so I figured if someone else got some use out of it, why the hell not? (I did make it clear that he was not permitted to smoke weed or do anything else illegal.)
Big mistake, because one of the annoying things about this guy is, if you give him an inch, he'll take a mile. If he asks to use your bathroom, he'll come in and take a shower. And apparently, if he asks to leave a chair on your back porch, he'll take up permanent residence in your shed.
At this point, it's kind of annoying, but I do still feel bad for the guy. I still don't actually use the shed for anything (yet), and he really doesn't seem like a bad guy, he just doesn't have a great sense of boundaries. Like, he never would've even asked permission to leave the chair there if I hadn't seen him walking by and flagged him down. But he doesn't seem to understand why someone else would have a problem with that. And I'm on the autism spectrum, so I already have enough problems with not being on the same wavelength as other people. But he's not really a dick, he just operates in a different way than I do.
Anyway, the point is that I don't really want to kick him out, as long as I can clearly (and legally) define a f
