A list of puns related to "Digital Security Act"
Per the Digital Security Act, if you share an opinion online against the current government they can legally arrest you (most of the time they'll make you disappear and legality won't have a part to play in this at all). While most cases of this law being put into effect are through Facebook and blogs, can we post our opinions here safely without the worry of government folks breaking through the front door? Should we use VPNs to post?
TL;DR: What is this $250 'federal digital security act' fee???
Hey guys & gals. Thanks for creating this sub! I've got to say first I appreciate that you guys need to make a profit. Just don't treat me like an idiot with BS explanations. I appreciate the salespeople in the past who have worked with us and not shafted us over. If they were still working in car sales, I'd be buying from them. One retired, one is now a service manager, and one left the industry completely.
My wife and I are in the market for a second truck so we have options when we go to tow our travel trailer. I know, not a good time to buy, etc. Current truck is sidelined waiting to get into the shop - our mechanic's shop is down to just him due to COVID. He's always done right by us so I'll wait.
ANYWAYS, last night we test drove a truck and dealer got us to the pricing point. Doc fee was $825. I'm in NH. At that point I just wanted to get the F out of there, but before we got out the manager came over and explained that the doc fee used to be $500 and change (don't remember exact) but thanks to Uncle Joe and new federal digital security act requirements they had to add in a $250 fee.
What is that? I can't find any information about it anywhere online, $500 is already an over the top doc fee for my state.
They already disqualified themselves so many times last night, this was just the icing on the cake. They even had the nerve to tell me they had the lowest vehicle prices.
Now, not buying the truck. Here's a major hint to all you carsalemen out there. It's 2021. Be more engaged with the wife as well as the husband. It's not the fucking 1950s. 50-50 relationship, true partnership. Guess what - we both get nay votes. Guess who drives our current truck most of the time? It's not me.
Sorry for the rant. I'm still pissed about last night.
It would be really helpful, if you guys let me know.
I know this will cause many to panic sell. But I shall HODL w/ diamond hands for a few simple reasons:
from the article:
βBecause digital assets donβt stay in one country, itβs necessary to work with other countries on synchronization,β ... I am not confident this synchronization can happen anytime in the near future.
