A list of puns related to "David Gilmour discography"
I just got my hands on a Ram's Head Big Muff and have been trying it out with my Strat. I know that a key part of the "David Gilmour tone" is basically this pedal through a single-coil bridge pup. However, the hum I get from the fuzz (running through my Orange Crush 20RT) is unbearably loud unless I have my Strat in the humbucking 2nd position (and even then there's a pretty audible hum). I'm running all my pedals off of batteries, so it's not a power supply issue.
This led me to wonder: how the hell does someone like David Gilmour play a live show, with their amp turned up insanely loud, and use a bunch of OD and fuzz with a single-coil pup without creating a noticeable hum on the recording?
EDIT: I mean hum, not feedback.
"How I wish... How I wish you were beer."
Whats a good David Gilmour guitar solo to learn that can teach me about his playing more if anyone knows just drop me a comment! :)

How soon do you think youโll be putting out a new album? Gilmour:ย Iโm hoping that I will have an album ready in the next year or two; Iโm not that fast. One of the problems, of course, is this lockdown thing. We are now both double vaccinated, so things are looking a little bit brighter. But getting other people in to listen, to help, and to play on things has been kind of impossible in the last year. I do look forward to actually playing some songs with a bunch of actual musicians at some point.
I just recently got into Pink Floyd and somehow discovered the first David Gilmour solo album and I absolutely love it (my favorite track being "Short And Sweet") ! I would even rank it above some Pink Floyd albums.
But it seems a bit underrated and overlooked, so what's your opinion about it ?
