Perma-liner/ Cured in place pipe reviews
An old sewer pipe in my home collapsed last week and is set to be replaced. The plumbing company suggested that I consider Perma-liner/Cured in place pipe for other parts of the house where pipes are equally old and could start going bad in the next couple of years. I had to look it up (https://youtu.be/LtZnpEedsg0) and though the process sounds like a great idea its going to cost $$$ on top of what I am already paying for the sewer replacement.
Has anyone else had experience with this technology?

Cured-in-place pipe rehab for home?
My home has copper drain lines from the 1960's, and in places it's beginning to deteriorate. I've had one pinhole leak which I have patched with self-adhering tape, but I'm concerned that I'm going to start seeing more and more serious failures. Obviously I could get it replaced with up to date material, but I was wondering if there was a solution available similar to the cured-in-place pipe used in trenchless rehabilitation. If so, how does it compare (cost, value, ease of installation) to a standard refit?
Thanks!

Tube pipe, smoke blower, found in Hardin County, Iowa private property. It was lying sideways and filled with sand and dirt, in a ravine that has an amphitheater where several dry washes converge. A natural secluded meeting place.

My latest vintage Yello-Bole Imperial Grade Honey-Cured pipe was sent out for professional restoration. This is long-stemmed mushroom shape with a push tenon from 1935-37. I enjoyed Dunhill Durbar Mixture in it this morning. Happy smokes!

What are these called? They screw onto the end of a threaded pipe. One has a threaded hole at the top to insert a smaller threaded rod, and the other has a large unthreaded hole to keep a replaceable disc in place. Attached is an example of their use with incorrect names. Iβm out of g search ideas.

Rental Suite Flooring Issue - Iβve lived in this place for 6 months and the glue still hasnβt cured and is coming through the cracks. From a health standpoint, should I be worried about fumes?

In case anyone wants to try slide, I'd suggest here as a good place to start. Hope it helps, have fun with it. Note Open D tuning low to high: DADF#AD. Just fyi, my first slide was a piece of plastic pipe, my second a hunk of copper pipe, so don't think you need to spend money to try it.

Hollywood has a lake up near the sign, it was a perfect day for flu cured Virginia nirvana. Some frown at a RYO blend, ($10 for 3.5oz at a B&M in AZ) but historically pipers would often rub out a cigarette into their pipe, which is why the old Velvet tins display a pipe and cigarette. SSMFs.

Best battle Iβve had in ranked for a while. Came down to the wire, pulling Gold Dry Bones from the gold pipe put me over the top. This is now my 5th first place finish in a row. Whatβs your longest win streak?

Cigar Accessory Hack - Picked up a couple of ash cans at a great price from Cigar Auctioneer. Needed a good place to rest cigars in camp chair and golf cart. Knowing myself I know I'll lose the lid. Enter the $8 hack for both. I used a clamp to hold the washers and magnets until the adhesive cured.

Update to my blown turbo on 2017 VW GTI. We pulled the exhaust and intake pipes as well as the turbo today. The exhaust and intakes were FULL of oil! But this little fella was just bouncing around in my exhaust pipe π€¦ββοΈ. Where is a good place to buy a new IS20 turbocharger?

PSA: If you hide & lock cables and/or pipes in the advanced builder, you can place other objects on top of them!
Ever had a duct in a beam, connected a cable to it then pulled your hair out when trying to place a plate on top of it?
Pull no more, use this tip!
BONUS: Keep cables and pipes locked at all times unless you are specifically trying to delete them. Will save you accidentally deleting them :)

LPT: When leaving your home for a longer time (days or even weeks) turn off the main water valve in your house/apartment. A pipe can burst while youβre away and flood the place in mere hours.
My aunt and uncle had this happen to them, and in 4 hours their house was flooded and everything in it destroyed.

I got this seemingly unsmoked Yello-Bole Two Bit bowl. I believe because of the 4 digit code and the βHoney Cured Briarβ that itβs a 1933-1936 pipe. Anyone know where I could get a stem for it?

Best place in States for a Pipe afficionado?
Hello there fellows!
Going to States this November for a 15 days business trip (Orlando and Houston). I have some spare time and some United miles to burn.
So, please name a city were I can find the most iconic and classic tobacco pipe shop.
After some research, Orlando is not a Pipe city so I will do my business there and get out.

Visiting my grandmother for a walk along the river. This place used to be infamous because bandits used the spot to ambush merchant ships. I have included another picture with the pipe in focus. I am having EMP in this Rattray's pipe, seems like a perfect blend to enjo in the woods.

I installed a floating base for my shed which sat on long ground spikes. A few days later the toilets started backing up! What are the chances of hitting a diagonally running pipe in two places!

Ugh! Does anyone know why this is happening? I did wipe on poly. Last coat was almost 2 weeks ago. I did 4 light coats. These are markings from my dish drying rack but it hasn't even been heavy or really weighted down. I didn't place anything on top of the counter for 7 days to make sure it cured.

This doesnβt even make sense. Why are they tiny, he canβt even hit that thing, and why would he hit out of a sewer pipe in the first fuckin place. Just why make these things?
