A list of puns related to "Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science"
Anybody know who maintains the weather station on top of Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science (Building 76)? Or any other weather stations that might be on campus? I'd like to see if there would be any interest in getting an RIT weather station and/or camera feed added to Weather Underground.
Working on a project that requires image analysis. Anyone knowledgeable in this field willing to volunteer an hour of their time to discuss/answer a couple of questions?
Edit: And anything concerning civilization and theories of that date back 9-12k years ago? As well as the Younger Dryas.
Hi β Iβm Adam Gazzaley, a neurologist and neuroscientist at UCSF. I founded the Gazzaley Lab and the Neuroscape lab, the latter being a unique environment to create and validate novel neurodiagnostics and neurotherapeutics using newly emerging technology. Two projects from the lab include Neurodrummer and Glass Brain. You can follow me @gazzlab and learn more about our research at Gazzaley Lab or the Neuroscape lab and follow @gazzlab, @neuroscapelab. Iβm here this week as my lab is participating in the Bay Area Science Festival, a 10 day celebration of science & technology in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please check out Glass Brain at the Nerd Nite Block Party or hear my lab member Jyoti Mishra speak at Ignite Oakland on 10/24.
Hi All-
I know I'm a bit late on this one, but I just wanted to provide an update on the Amazon Fulfillment Center Saga in case you've missed it. In early October, Councilman Braceland provided an update on Facebook about the project, saying they're βreevaluating a number of operations.β
Apparently there's some disagreement regarding the fine details in the purchase of the property, Braceland saying, βIβve been told Amazon likes to own their buildings and Mr. Kahn likes to lease.β These disagreements likely will lead to the deal falling through, and the area, once again will remain vacant.
What would you all like to see go in here? I know, in the past, there've been talks of new residential/commerical areas, a YMCA, and a convention center. I hate looking at the empty field whenever I drive by, but I know it's a active brownfield site, and the options are extremely limited.
Hope this helps!
-James
(Also, if anyone has any updates on the project, please let me know! I always am happy to learn more about this stuff.)
Hi all. My dog needs an MRI, and Iβm looking for a place to do it that is either highly recommended or affordable or even better both. Has anyone taken their beloved four-legged friends to an imaging center locally?
