A list of puns related to "Casing hanger"
Hi all,
Sorry for the noob question, I was given a PO-20 Arcade for Christmas, and have just bought a pro case, but it doesnβt fit with the hanger tab in place.
I assume that means I need to snap it off, is that correct?
And if so, do you have any tips for doing it neatly?
Cheers!
Hi all,
Iβm looking into buying my first PO as Iβve been meaning to start working a bit with samplers and canβt find anything that beats the 33 or 133 for the price (I understand they have inherent limitations, but Iβm sure working around them will breed creativity). As a big Street Fighter fan, Iβm definitely leaning towards the 133 and when I realized the hanger had βHadoukenβ instead of just βPocket Operatorβ in it, Iβd like to keep it in place.
With that said, Iβm looking for a good case that allows for the hanger to stay and found perkfloodβs etsy store with what seems to be a pretty decent case. It seems sturdy enough while not being bulky and would allow me to keep the hanger and stand that come with the PO, but before ordering one I was curious to know if anybody here had given them a try and if they liked them or if they would recommend any other similar cases.
Finally, just as a side question, before I pull the trigger on the PO 33/133, any other gear I should consider? The Volca Sample looks good for the price range, but I appreciate being able to record straight into the PO to make it versatile on the fly.
Thanks in advance!!
As the title of the post suggests - I and I am sure many others, are looking for ways to display their PC, favorite, and/or higher end cards.
With the Christmas season right around the corner this leaves plenty of time to get ideas for gifts to family and friends. One of the things I have been looking into is a display case/wall display for my favorites. Please share yours - whether they are DIY or purchased!
Just thought i would share one of my business and how I started.
I was sitting around drinking some beers π and I thought I should buy a 3D printer it would be super cool, just for fun.
So I started to look into how much it would cost and yes, you can spend a lot $$$$ on a 3D printer, but I bought the Anet A8 itβs just a cheap China printer for about $160.
It was definitely a leaning experience putting it together but that ended up being a huge value later on.
So after hours of learning how to dial in the printer, I finally printed a 3D case for my raspberry PI.
I got the STL file from thingiverse and it was a Nintendo 64 case btw.
After that I started to think about all the products I could make with the 3D printer. For an example a phone case 3D printed would cost about $0.25 (in filament) but you could sell it for $25 so I instantly saw the dollar signs π
I wanted to know how this magical STL file was made and I ran into a site called tinkercad and itβs completely free and letβs you design STL files.
I now have everything I need but what do I print?
I looked at my snowboard and was like why isnβt that on the wall? Oh I design a snowboard wall hanger and print it bam π₯
It only took me a few hours to design a simple wall hanger and probably only a few mins for an experienced person.
The point is thatβs my first product. I put it on eBay and Etsy and poof I started making sales and poof I created a business.
Now I have 10 printers running 24/7 and over 150 different products I sell.
Hopefully this inspired someone π€·ββοΈ
So I saw a couple posts that expressed some displeasure, so to speak, with putting a basketball court in the ships hanger and I wanted to provide some real world context on why that's actually pretty realistic. I am an aircraft mechanic, was in the Air Force and now a civilian contractor, and most of the bases Ive been and the squadrons Ive been apart of had a basket ball hoop. I spent alot of time in hangers and have used them plenty as a way to pass the time on an incredibly long shift when there isn't much maintenance going on. We mechanics get bored easily and need something to distract us. My current job as a civilian contractor puts me at 12 hour shifts 7 days a week and there isn't always an aircraft that needs maintenance and if not for some of those random recreational things littered about(ping pong tables are another hugely popular one) then I would die of boredom. I'd say it would probably be even more important on a ship where you physically cant leave for months at a time (I'm sure some navy guys can probably attest to this)
Anyways, it may not serve a practical purpose in game, but neither do saunas or hell even bartenders. But it exists to flesh out the lore and believability(is this even a word?) of the universe and I enjoy seeing these random things added.
I'm sure most of you don't care but Id thought I'd offer my 2 cents Β―\(γ)/Β―
Maybe a silly question, but I just got a PO and a case. I really like the hanger, it adds a bit of charm and has some flavor text that I don't want to simply rip it off and it toss out.
Obviously, the PO will not fit in the case with the hanger, but anyone tried using a utility knife to cut a small hole for the hanger to slide through? If so, were results good?
Update:
So, I decided to do it. I used a utility knife to make a cut on the top of my case to allow the hanger to go through. And it looks good! I was a bit worried the thickness of the case would cover part of the hanger, but the hanger looks to be completely useable. Just wanted to update in case someone finds this topic and curious.
should I take that guaranteed hitter or go for the case of hangers? also if I can grab a jumbo is it worth getting that over a hobby? thanks
EDIT 3: In order to make sure this process doesn't totally revolve around the response of 1 person, you now have 8 hours to respond. If you don't you'll still be able to ask for games, but I'm going to move on to the next winners.
EDIT 2: Now closed, PMing the winners.
EDIT 1: Due to timing, I'm going to close this on Sunday, Dec 26 at 7 PM EDT. That way I can start PMing people the next day.
Happy holidays everyone. It's time to clear out the games I haven't chosen / played from my Humble Choice Subscription. There are also some leftover games / keys from the last time I gave away keys. In some cases I have seen that "keys have been exhausted for this product" so I cannot guarantee availability of your choice right away.
Q: Why are you giving games away?
A: Humble choice has plenty of games that aren't to my taste.
Q: Why so many (AAA, whatever) games in this list?
A: I have kids and a full time job, I have to be picky with my time and I figure I'd rather let someone else enjoy the game fully than me enjoy it for 2 minutes.
Please respond that you're interested. There's no point in telling me what you want now. When the entries close (Dec 26 7 PM EDT) I'll start randomizing the order and individually PMing people that they won and their top 5 choices. Also, please be patient. It takes time to organize all of this.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I know its all part of the marketing, and there are a few other items you can spot in game that you can buy at Disney. I just think it's neat.

Stands, foam blocks, hooks, etc.? I've slowly started a collection and realize I need a better way to display them while keeping them accessible.
