I want to upgrade my old EOS 600D (T3i). I want full frame, better light sensitivity and better autofocus. What has mostly revealed the limitations of my current camera is trying to photograph my kids that never sit still and in bad lighting. I can probably get a decent EOS 5D mark III, checked by a professional and some warranty, for corresponding to $700. Is that a reasonable buy, or are there other alternatives that would be better?

I have to use a Canon EOS 5D Mark III for a very long term time lapse (hundreds of hours). I am trying to find a power supply that properly powers the camera. I'm really not sure how this works given that it's a direct power supply. Does anyone know of a supply where this isn't an issue and it actually powers the camera directly without somehow running out of charge?

I started shooting with film and about to buy my first digital camera. I’m mainly doing portraits, and I really like the Canon look. I have an offer to get a used(11k shutter count)Mark III for 1000€(1103$) what seems like a fair deal to me! On the other hand having a more compact camera like the eos R might be way more comfortable to handle, coming from a small film camera.But that would also mean a higher price tag. Let me know your thoughts!

So I just bought a Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I want to make cinematic shorts. My passion is filmmaking, however I dont know what a affordable and a good lens is for this camera and a cinematic look.
