Today marks 3 years of having our favorite boy! He loves to sit in chairs at dog friendly bars and most people have to do a double take when they see him.
Please help identify this bad boy. Photo taken in my shed in Ireland, county Meath. There is at least two of these as far as I can see. Are they false widows? Should I move them somewhere else when weather is better? I mean, I have a dog and wouldn't like him to get bitten.
My kids and I had to put my dog down in May and then we had to put my boyfriends dog down in Aug. Our family was really missing having a dog. We adopted this big boy officially Dec 16th. My kids are happy to have a dog again and my bf and I couldn't feel more complete! Happy Adoption Day Murphy!

Our boy Moses. Gotcha day on the right and a few days and a dog park visit to the left. He spent his first 8 months locked up in a crate, so he really loves his new freedoms.
Our handsome boy Cayde. 8 years as a farm dog, discarded at the shelter underweight, and covered in embedded grass seeds. He had a partially torn cruciate ligament, and a nasty cough from inhaling seeds, that has never subsided. We've had him almost two years now, and love him infinitely.

My good boy, Sawyer. TL is the day I found him in the middle of a country road covered in fleas and ears full of ticks. Like ticks on top of ticks. Vet guessed he was 5 weeks. Now he’s about 3 years old and is an amazing ranch dog and best bud
My rescue Taco - I live in Mexico and there are many street dogs here. Taco is a rescue from a local shelter. When I see him sleep peacefully knowing that he is safe it almost moves me to tears. He is a very good boy.

old pup needing an outside home. someone just left this poor baby in my apartment complex locked in the dog park. i brought him in for the night and has managed to pee on a lot if my things already. hes really old and is just having a hard time holding his pee. other than that hes a sweet boy
On March 18, a toddler had wandered away from home in -26 degrees Celsius. RCMP Police Dog Harley found the boy on a nearby porch, hidden from view. The boy was given medical attention and suffered no serious injuries thanks to Harley's quick discovery. Harley got a cheeseburger as a reward!

This sweet boy, Midnight, is on the euthanasia list for space. He's great with other dogs, house trained, very loving a sweet, and deserves the world. I've visited him multiple times in the shelter and advocate for him. Help me share him to save a life.

[TOMT] [BOOK] Help me find a book I read as a child in the 90s about a boy and his mutt of a dog.

I read the book in the late 90s though I remember the setting feeling much older than that. A more classic book. I can't give you a more specific time frame than that I'm afraid.
I believe the boy was either homeless or at the very least destitute. He was a bit of a ragamuffin and spent most of the story visiting his other rough around the edges friends.
His loyal companion, who I remember having a habit of running off to nick food from shops, was a stray dog that was named after a snack people would often give to him.
I wanna say it's crackerjack or black jack but my Google searches for stories with dogs with those names has proven unfruitful so its more than likely something else.
The dog is definitely named after some kind of snack/confectionary. I'm pretty sure said food has nuts in it?
The setting is either UK or US. I can't for the life of me remember which.
I'm straining to try and remember the cover and I think it's the boy in a darkened street/alley with a sliver of yellow light from a street lamp and the dog is running with asomething it's stolen in its mouth (maybe sausages?).

If milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and we don't know who let the dogs out, would the culprit be also brought to the yard in the presence of a milkshake? If so, assuming the culprit is male, how would you discern the freer of dogs from all other boys summoned to the yard?

There’s a pit bull in my neighbor’s yard who won’t stop fucking barking at my dog and scaring the shit out of him. Currently in a situation where I can’t bring him inside. My boy has been whimpering since this started and he’s usually a pretty brave dog. I can’t fucking stand these dogs

Finally am able to get justice for sweet Duke!!! After 10 months I’ve tracked down the owner of the dog that killed him and have a court date! My sweet boy will have his story told! He was my first senior rescue and I will keep fighting for him even though he’s gone. He’s always in my ❤️
Here’s a before and after of my most recent foster dog Chevy. The rescue named him Chevy because he was living under a broken down Chevy truck before they were able to gain his trust and get him some help. He is the sweetest boy! These pictures were taken about a month apart. More in comments. :-)

Hello from the SE!! Xander on the left is a 6yo male blue leopard with double coat from a kill shelter in N. Mississippi and Pancake is a 2yo male red leopard from farm dog stock in N. Alabama. Love my boys, total handfuls especially together but such a fun dog.
Dogs react to "Who's a good boy!?" and "What's ppppin' homie!?" in exactly the same way.
Edit: "Poppin" not "Ppppin"
But at least I didn't type "poopin"

My Opie boy. He came from a high kill shelter where he was kept in the back with the “aggressive” dogs so not many people even saw him and no one wanted to give him a chance. He’s the biggest sweetest baby ever.

EDIT: OMG, I FOUND IT. I basically remembered that the name of the boy was something with A and so I came to archibald and found a clip.
Turns out it's a Hungarian show and got 2 German names (I couldn't figure out if there was an English release). 1 name is 'archibald der weltraumtrtotter' and the other is 'adolars phantastische abenteuer' (roughly translates to fantastic journeys). Guess it's so hard to find cause there simply might not be an English release
I'm looking for a very old cartoon show with a boy and a dog that travel in a rocket to different planets or dimensions or something and each world had different styles and some seemed really terrifying for a kids show. The art style was pretty rough too, but that could have just been the age.
I also think that the character wasn't cartoon stylisized, so normal proportioned and 'realistic' looking. Furthermore if my memory serves right, there's never been any other regular characters than the boy and the dog.
I think the details I've written up there are correct, but my mind might have changed some things. I was born in 1984, so I assume i watched those around 1990.

He was a stray following our dog home and refused to leave. After a year of having him found out he's from the neighbors that treated him real bad. It has been 2 years now and he's the sweetest boy, our front yard warrior. He chases wild pigs away every night guarding fruits&everything. We love him.
