A list of puns related to "Born Again (TV series)"
I was recently watching GoT clips (from good seasons) and starting to reread ASOIAF books and then I thought of Black Clover, which then made me realize that BC has some... interesting characters that in some ways feel to me as if they are inspired by ASOIAF. In this case I'm talking about the Royal families and their characters. Which also brings me to a certain theory or rather hope I have that I will share at the end.
Now before you scream that I'm forcing myself to see similarities and that those characters are not similar, I'm just pointing out that they seem to be inspired by those characters, not being 100% the same. Hell I dunno if they are even 50% the same. It's just something I noticed and I want to share.
At first I'll start with Vermillions and their connection to probably the most obvious possible reference for them Lannisters. I'm talking here of course about our favorite, twisted bowl of horrific sibling relations, Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion.

Now I know what you may say. They are not at all similar in terms of their relationships. And you will be quite right, but there are certain elements that do seem to be pretty similar here. First let's focus on Fuegoleon and Jaime. Both of them are great warriors, famous around the Kingdom who both of them are more or less pride of their families. Then they lose their right hand at the hand of the enemy and both of them get replacement arms, both of which are connected to their house. Jaime gets a hand of Gold while Fuegoleon creates a hand of fire. And they are the sibling who have far more positive relationship with their younger brother than their sisters have with youngest sibling. Let's just hope there is no incest involved.
Then we have Mereo who many of you will say is nothing like Cersei and in some ways you could be right, but I can see some elements possibly inspired by her. For instance change of design of Mereo from long haired to short haired while also becoming more fire happy and both have rather rocky relationship with their younger sibling (Mereo wanted to throw him into a ditch while Cersei.... yeah) and both of them are very fond of drinking and both are rater insane when they want to be.
Then we have Leo who I admit has the least in common with his counterpart Tyrion that I see here, but some are still there. Like his inferiority complex when it comes t

Also property of Jesus is such a bop yall can fight me. Btw I noticed someone criticized "Neighborhood Bully" for being a pro war song which contradicts his civil rights era in the 60's but Bob's whole career has been a contradiction so I wouldn't bother.

Can put identifying details if allowed but trust me, youll soon find out (Edit) about his religious beliefs
The obvious question: what happened? Itβs impossible to pinpoint one thing. I sincerely believed it, and always wanted to "follow the lord" as closely as possible, so doctrine was important to me. I was alway studying a topic and length - hell, heaven, tongues, homosexuality for example - and I would be either alarmed at what the bible clearly says (about women, for example) or doesn't say (about heaven, for example). I struggled with how immoral and inept god seemed in the OT. The more I studied, the less the bible made sense. Once I allowed myself to examine weather or not a god existed at all, that last piece fell into place. It took me a good year to get my head back on straight after that, but it was worth it.
Edited to add: Iβm a woman.
Iβm not interested in engaging in βprove god doesnβt existβ (I donβt claim I can) βyou werenβt a true believerβ (I was) biblical doctrine (I donβt care what it says) or insults. Thanks.
I'm curious if you guys have a similar thing. It's not life-changing, it's just amazing that I've never realized it's completely ADHD.
I love series. I watch them all the time.
Cause some series is always on in the background when I'm doing something else. Cause other things are soooo boring! It's my productive solution, trust me.
But: I LOATHE starting a new show. Even when I know it will be amazing.
If it's recommended, I'll make 3-4 attempts at starting before I get hooked in.
If it's something that interests me personally, I won't get hooked in until I accidentally stumble upon it the 8th time and finally watch more than 20min.
I just realised this huge part of my life is cause I get lost with all the new characters, the new plot is complicated and I'm not used to the new dynamic!
Don't know about you guys, but I don't like to come to those ADHD conclusions. I'm not dumb. And they make me feel very dumb.
Edit: Wow, afterferthought: same with books.
With 20+ episode seasons and more or less self contained episodes? I like Discovery but there is a distinct difference between that show and the trilogy of shows I mentioned. Is the landscape just too different now?
Battle of the Bastards from 'Game of Thrones' - Definitely one of the greatest TV episodes ever created!
Something's Coming (the tornado episode) from 'Desperate Housewives' - Goosebumps rush every time I remember what happened in this episode. It was excellent from the beginning till the end.
The One Where Everybody Finds Out from 'Friends' - One of the funniest episodes, IMO. Clever writing, very entertaining episode.
eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00 from 'Mr. Robot' - This is the episode where it was shot and made in a way that makes it look like a 44 minute one-shot long take. A true masterpiece!
Hi guys, i ve just finished my session of exams for this year and now i have a lot of spare time. I ve decided to start watching a tv series, but I donβt know which one to choose.
Series like Breaking Bad and Peaky (fookin) Blinders are my favorite because of the action and cleverness involved, Walter and Tommy are both badasses but theyβre so damn smart. I am looking something like this.
I was thinking at:
Should i watch them in your opinion? Btw feel free to advice me new tv series that can fit that mixture of action and cleverness
(Anyway i ve also liked GoT and stranger things)
Between my primary media consumption being video games for my entire childhood and university taking up most of my time once I moved out, I really haven't watched any Netflix or TV in general over the past 10 years. Maybe a few movies with friends when I visited theirs, but that's about it. Since I'm going into grad school in the fall I was thinking maybe now is the time to get into Netflix and watch some of the great stories I may have missed out on.
For all intents and purposes, consider me completely spoiler-free on pretty much every series on TV and Netflix, give or take. I don't know what happens in pretty much any Netflix series' or most TV shows' plots beyond the general premise of the show. I found I have a broad array of interests when it comes to movies, so genre isn't an issue for me and pretty much any recommendation is fair game.
What do you think are those must watch (or just generally amazing - even if niche) series on Netflix I should look into? I'm on Canadian Netflix but have access to a VPN, if that matters for your choices.
EDIT: Wow. I really didn't expect this to get a lot of reception, but thank you all so much!!! I have a lot of things to catch up on it seems and I'll definitely be referencing this list for a long-time!
She literally sees the girl inexplicably start glowing and causing a fish tank to explode. How do you explain that? How did she not have an epiphany there that, "wow, ghosts or whatever the fuck are real!"
